Emerald listened to what Zircon said before standing up and beginning to look around. A temple isn't a place of fighting, right? Why would there be something that blows up? "Well, this is a temple, right? Not some kind of building from the war that the older Gems keep talking about? So it shouldn't be trapped or hard to find, hopefully." He noticed that Zircon was moving away and then rushed up so he wouldn't be left behind. "Hey, wait up!" Everyone leaves, He thought. Off to go to some dangerous place, leaving the rest of us to do nothing, alone, in a strange new place we know nothing about. Zircon's mention of possible explosions isn't helping, either. These thoughts were...unsettling, to say the least. That wasn't the only way he could've put it, but either way they were true. That just was what he first thought of. Abandonment. Right after we get attacked by spiders, laser eyes, and finally get to rest, we get left here by the only one of us who knows what they're doing, not to mention half of everyone else. With all these thoughts in his head, Emerald almost missed it. Some odd thing sticking out of the wall. "Hey..." Said Emerald, pointing at the thing, "What's that?"

Hi guys! Sorry I couldn't post yesterday because 1: I was at my friend's house for most of the day, and 2: When I got back home I discovered my cats had turned filter keys on.

In all seriousness, welcome! We could use a new person to help start up the IC. A word of advice: For some reason most of the IC posts tend to be in groups, there could be 12 hours between posts and then 8 posts are made in the next hour.

Also, one thing I don't like about needles is that "It doesn't hurt a bit" means "It hurts probably more than usual" so whenever the doctors say that I freak out a little. Also, I know what you mean about the hyperventilating @Akayaofthemoon

It isn't needles I hate so much as watching the very thing that keeps me living being sucked from my body and put into a container.
Also, some shots make my arm really sore.
