Quick Update: Did a revamp of my character as a burst of inspiration hit me. However this caused a delay so he should be finished by tomorrow instead. I apologize for the wait, however I do like to make sure my characters fit my standard before submitting them. Keep a lookout! :)

Are sloads available as player characters? Can my character (presumeably if a Nord and studied with the Grey Beards) use the thu'um? Can my character (if Red Guard) use sword-singing?an I start with an enchanted item?
I was pretty clear about the races, I think. No Sload. Thu'um... I'm hesitant to allow it, because I fear it will be abused. I'm going to err on the side of caution and say no. Sword-singing is never even properly explained, and where it is described it is mentioned only as a lost art, so no.
It'd be mean to only say no to everything, so yes, you can start with an item with a weak enchantment.
