Chari spent the majority of Day 11 nursing a massive hangover, not possessing much of the spirit she usually had. She had no idea why she decided to drink that much but she couldn't let the thought bother her now. They had spent the early part of the day marching to another dungeon, which in no short amount got her excited. She had been getting pretty bored lazing around the city, which might explain her binge, but now was the time for action! Luckily it didn't seem to take nearly as long to reach this one, a fact she was all too happy about. A few newcomers had replaced the members they lost. Chari was not sure about her feelings on that subject. She barely knew Karma but it still sucked to go out like that. It was a death that was all too familiar to her in the real world....

Everything besides the present was pushed from her mind as they entered the dungeon properly, her kunai comfortably in her grip. She bounced lightly on her feet even before the first monsters spawned, she was eager to fight. Her shimmering emerald eyes lit up in hunger as the boars appeared, undaunted by their size "Time to serve some bacon, eh?" She playfully quipped to the others. Within moments, Reylan was issuing orders. Good. She didn't want to wait for a complex plan to deal with a few swine. Her body lowered towards the floor as the springs in her leg muscles wound up tightly. A quick release and she was rushing towards her enemy.

Speed and maneuverability were her best traits, so she tried to rush to the Boar's side. When she believed she had an opening, she lunged forward to slash across its large torso. Real boars were strong and fast, but not that agile. That is why she hoped the in-game followed that logic. Chari quickly followed up her slash by thrusting the kunai into its hide, before using its tough skin as launch platform to step and propel herself backwards, flipping in the air and onto her feet to gain some distance. That is when she taunted the boar, like a matador, in hopes of forcing it to charge her. If it did, she would pray her skills were good enough to dodge at the right moment. "This way you piece of shit!" She yelled.

Summary
Charges at Boar 5
Uses normal slash and normal thrust (Kunai)
Launches herself backwards off the boar and Taunts
Prepares to dodge out of the way if it charges

Chari found the Solace Festival to be quite frankly one of the most enjoyable days so far in this death game. She certainly had her fair share of the alcoholic drinks, often competing with macho guys who thought they could out-drink her. The amount of Renn she earned through the small bets were not much but it fun to simple wipe the grin off all their faces. It was forever since she actually gotten to party hard and she was going to go all out today.

Loosign herself to the beat of the music and enveloping her in the atmosphere of the festival made her decision to skip the meeting held earlier seem all that more worth it. She and authority didn't tend to get along much anyway. Chari guessed she was sort of using the guild as a means to explore more of this game and access to greater thrills. Honestly she might have gotten a little too 'wild' in her dancing, as she received some cat-calls from a few male players later on that evening. They were annoying but she was able to brush them aside since she was having fun. In truth, she doubted she had spent a hour today actually sober.

Despite receiving the message from her new guildmaster, she ignored it in favor of throwing her cares away. The special event items being sold at the vendors were just too tempting to skip. She ended up buying the helmet and cap, since she doubted the other items would ever be useful to her. The sky soon went dark and, as she expected, the party really started to kick off. Fireworks colored the moonlit sky that Chari watched with fascination.

It perhaps wasn't the most eloquent of messages, but she was somewhat under the influence. The party scene made her crave...something more exciting. She had to pinch herself at that thought, THAT was something she promised never to do ever again. They had already ruined her life once, in many more ways than one. Maybe...just maybe she would lay off the drinking as she waited for Dubstepp to respond. This wasn't the kind of day she would like to forget.

Chari waltzed right into the inn after spending the day slaying monsters on the outskirts of the city, practicing the stealth mechanics of the game on easy mobs before she tried it on anything beefy. Politics and meta-gaming weren't really her cup of tea, truly she just liked breaking stuff and monsters. Her eyes immediately picked up on Alisea talking to Xenos, and Reylan with the little birdie Kyo "Yo guys!" She spoke loudly before sitting down at her favorite seat at the bar. Briefly, she turned to the barkeep "Give me my usual, 'kay?" She asked with a deceiving pleasant tone. A few players might be finding their wallets a little light, which was enough to make her happy. What better calling is there for their money then to pay for her drinks after all?

A devious smile came up on her lips "Oh, did you guys see Shiba out there today? Looks like he got himself his own little stand. Must have come into a bit of money." She spoke idly, recalling her fellow rogue manning the small shop. Her mind changed to thinking about sparring with him, since it would be good to see how another rogue fights. Once the two mugs arrived they spent little time on the counter before reaching her lips.

The majority of her day had been spent out in the fields around Genesis City fighting whatever monsters she could get her hands on, trying out new tricks and moves for the next dungeon run they were sure to go on. Her heart was aching for another one, the thrill was too addicting to simply sit in one place for too long. Of course the monsters around the starting area where no real match for her, hell she used the boars to practice timing her evasion to get the most out of it.

When night began to fall, she decided to head back into the city having consumed the salted meat in her inventory and all the water in her water-skin. A quick look at the time and she noticed that the everyone would meeting up for the quest pretty soon so Chari decided just to go to the quest location right away, it was going to be just five of them she believed.

It seemed she was the first to arrive since none of the others were around yet and that caused her to frown a little bit. This was why she preferred to be fashionably late. She didn't have her music playlist in this world so she couldn't even listen to that while she waited, so she decided to sing some of the songs she knew by heart in her head.

Is there anyone out there?
Listening to what I say?
I am standing alone here,
waiting for that special day.

When the pain will stop,
and I shall be free.
A prison of my own design,
stopping me from who I want to be.

If there is anyone out there,
listening to what I say,
please say you'll be here,
and make this a special day.

I fight just to live through it all,
under the crushing weight of my own walls.
Even though I might be broken,
I don't want it just to end.

Her eyes were closed as she sang this out, the music having once saved her from doing something she would have regretted. It was exactly what she needed to hear after that awful thing happened years ago. Now it served to remind her of the promise she made to herself. Back then, and now.

If there is anyone out there,
listening to what I have to say,
I no longer need you here.
I'll make this a special day.

I will fix the broken pieces.
I will make them stronger
I will not be defeated.
I will be much tougher,
I will continue on.

That night Chari did not have anything to drink, well alcoholic that is. The morning sunshine forced itself through the window blinds, managing to perfectly snipe her eyes as sun rose. It may have been a mistake going to be completely sober because the nightmares came again, or rather a grotesque representation of reality would more accurate. Her right hand pounded down into the bed with all of her strength, a few tears dripping from already wet eyes. No matter how hard she tried...no matter what she did...that feeling, that memory...that pain won't go away. It was suffice to say that her night's rest was not that great. She had gotten used to repressing it most of the time but whenever someone laid a hand on her...it just brought all those unpleasant thoughts forward to the point she can't stand it. Everyday she finds herself asking the same question...when will it ever go away?

Groggy from the poor rest, she got dressed in her new outfit and draped the cloak around her neck. It was soothing to know that while she was Chari, while she was in Talrae...she could focus on simply living life to the fullest and as long as people didn't know the real Chari, she could keep it that way. Mustering her fortitude, she walked out of her room and headed downstairs to see Xenos looking like he was waiting for someone. Chari made a detour to the bar and asked for coffee "Black please." She informed the barkeep of her preference. Her only hope was that it better be strong.

Chari had skipped getting a bath that night and instead opted to simply call it in for the night, after drinking like a gallon of water. The walk to the stairs had be manageable but the walk up it was a struggle. She thank whoever invented railings for their perfect role of supporting her weight. It did not take long for her as she entered her room to crawl into bed and drift to sleep.

Despite drinking a bunch of water after all those shots, her head still pounded like a construction site upon waking up. Sadly she doubted there would be something like Aspirin in a medieval-fantasy setting. With a long groan, she hoisted herself out of the soft comfort of her bed worsening the headache. Chari, dressed in her sleeping clothes of a pair of shorts and a tank-top, walked barefoot to the room with the bath. The hot-tub like temperature felt amazing, dulling some of her pain away while getting her morning processes to quicken.

This morning was one all to common for her in the real world. It wasn't hard to acquire some cheap booze where she grew up, and you were 'cooler' depending on how much more you can drink. Chari didn't know if it was practice or just genetics, because she could beat every other kid in school and even some adults. Her body sank more into the warm waters, yet another shadow that had followed her into Talrae.

She got dressed rather quickly, a bit annoyed at the state of her clothes. Perhaps now would be a good time to buy something that made her look more like a Kunoichi. It would a solid guess to say that most of everyone would be going out today to spend their gold on skills and equipment.

Carefully she tackled her nemesis of last night, the stairs, and made it into the area where she saw plenty of familiar faces. A sly grin crossed her lips as she saw Xenos face down at the bar, knowing he probably didn't listen to her "A few more shots and you might have had me last night.." She said loudly as she passed by him, taking a seat at one of the normal tables and ordering the breakfast that they were offering today.

A half smirk appeared on the side of her face facing away from Xenos, it was such a terrible pick-up line that she couldn't help but stifle a laugh. Of course he didn't just stop there, at least he was committed she thought. Finally she turned to look at him, she was feeling good after beating the dungeon and no one else was here to drink with her "Tell me, are your lips normally this loose or is is just the alcohol?" She asked coyly before taking another sip of her drink. The grin on her face after she set the drink down indicated she was simply teasing.

His immediate switch from flirts to another topic of conversation was enough to convince her that he far from a stiff personality "It's cute in a way, like an energetic little kid with their new puppy." She shrugged in reference to River. Though with people who were his age it tended to go from cute to annoying rather quickly over time.

Chari eyed up the shot as it came to her and after swirling the contents in the glass for a moment, lifted it to her lips taking it all in. A delightful, burning sensation consumed her throat as it the shot hit hard and fast causing her muscles to tense briefly "Try?" she laughed "My party just beat a dungeon's boss. It was amazing! I rode on the back of this giant white wolf before I took it down, talk about one hell of a thrill!" She was only 18 but she could handle her alcohol like a pro. She felt herself unwind as it really settled in "How about you? I hope you're more than just a looker." She smirked taking a sip of her beer this time.

Chari had completely forgotten the rest of the world in their battle with Fenrir's Herald, and now he was defeated she was suddenly reminded of it all. She briefly looked from person to person around her, no one had been lost in this battle it would seem. A bright smile filled her face as the chest appeared before them to reward their hard fought victory. This feeling in her chest and limbs was delightful, despite a soreness taking over she felt incredible. This is exactly what she had wanted from the start, what her previous parties didn't provide. Raw thrills and adventure. Those here were not afraid to take a risk and delve into the dungeons, for that alone she settled on joining them.

Reylan's speech did an extra flair to the feeling of victory, a bit sappy for her tastes though. She approached him after his interaction with Lahariel and locked her fingers behind her head "Looks like there is quite a bit of fun to be had here, guess I'll stick around. Being in this guild should be exciting." She mentioned before heading off to join Aster in her magic circle, she sure as hell didn't want to walk all the way back to Genesis City.

Once back, she smiled at the swords-woman a bit amazed "Thanks for the lift Aster, you kicked some serious ass back there!" Their interaction from the night before completely slipping her mind. Even though the night life was kicking off, she didn't have the desire to go off in new bars to party. Instead, she was set on celebrating a bit back at the inn with a few hard drinks, having a warm bath, and then going to bed for some much needed beauty sleep.

She had only stepped in through the door when the strange looking bird-thing hovered over them, her eyes watching it fly around before switching over to its master. Chari was amused at the sounds of hunger that came from him after that eccentric display, this game attracted all kinds of people. A small laugh left her lips as she past right by him, patting him on the shoulder "You're a funny guy. Thanks though." Before she headed over to the bar with a sense of purpose filling her eyes. Sitting down on a stool, next to Xenos, she spoke after getting the barkeeper's attention "Three beers and a shot of the hardest stuff ya got." She ordered confidently, placing the appropriate Renn on the table for him to take.

The first beer arrived shortly and without hesitation she downed half of its contents in one go, letting out a soft gasp of delight as she placed it back down "Just what a girl needs after a good fight." She said idly to herself, with any luck some of the others from the party would join her.

Chari gritted her teeth as she was struck by the boss's attack and dug her Kunai into the ground to stop her from falling backwards. Her health dropped to 510, it sure liked to flaunt it's strength. Her attention snapped to Karma and the boss man as she heard her name called by them. She wouldn't turn down a heal cause it meant she can kept giving it her all in fighting this monster. She came up to Karma and nodded "This close enough?" she asked with a smirk. A bit of energy felt like it flowed back into her body as her HP bar "Thanks Karma, keep up the good work 'kay?" Then without anything more, she darted back into the fray.

She let the others grab Fenrir's Herald attention while she made her way to Shiba, the other rogue crimson There was a chance for Shiba to respond before she took off after the boss, maneuvering to a blind spot and slicing into its side with a series of cuts before back off, throwing four shurikens as she distanced herself "Shiba, you're turn!" She shouted to her current partner in crime, choosing to observe the fight while the others worked their magic as well. Speaking of magic, Lehariel was definitely a flashy kind of gal. She alone was enough to keep Chari entertained. Now it was time to see if the boss would pull off another one of its tricks or fall beneath their foot.

Chari grinned with delight as the Wolfkin Guard turned to face her "So you want to play big boy?" She spoke with amusement, that was before the creature closed in with a speed she struggled to keep up with. It came at her with a forward strike, the large blade smashing heavily into the ground where she once stood. A second late on her dodge and she would have been caught underneath it. Her feet carried her backwards as her opponent pressed the assault, quickly adjusting the grip on its blade and swinging in a skyward slash. There was no time to moved out of the way of this one, she moved her kunai to intercept and barely managed to deflect the momentum of the sword. Unfortunately, the parry had left her wide open which the Wolfkin Guard wasted no time taking advantage off. The beast managed to plant a kick right in the center of her chest, knocking her off the ground and several feet backwards as the air in her lungs quickly vacated. She had been sure that the monster would follow up on its successful attack but Totoro had intervened at the perfect time. Adrenaline pumped heavily into her veins, and she could feel its effect. A quick glance at her health bar notified her that it had dipped about 90 points and was now a yellowish-orange. Her father had told her to never let anyone slight you and get away with it "You're going to need to do better than that to take me down." A strong smirked crossed her lips as she taunted the monster. It was one of the few lessons of his she took to heart, and now she was going to return the damage done by the beast's kick twice over.

A new player had entered the field shortly after Chari had gotten up, her personality reminded her strongly of someone who tried very hard to be cool and interesting. She quietly laughed to herself at the performance Lehariel gave, at least she through all of her energy into it. The two of them would absolutely have to got monster hunting together later, a person that expressive was always loads of fun to get into mischief with. Chari decided to see what this person's next move was and she was not disappointed in the least. Chari moved herself into position as Lehariel cast her spells, ready to pounce when it became unbalanced. She barely listened to the orders of old chief, she had a score to settle with the creature in her way. It shouldn't have come as a surprise when her new friend Alisea decided to get her hands dirty herself, moving into figuratively smack the hell out out of the Wolfkin Guard. Chari broke off into a sprint as soon as Alisea used her palm strike, and threw two shurikens at its back before smashing her kunai into its spine. Her hands twisted and pushed the blade deeper to inflict as much damage and pain she was allowed. If it still stood after their assault, she would stab it until it perished.

She audibly laughed after dealing with their target, turning to both Lehariel and Alisea with a bright smile "Now that is what I call girl power." Her gaze shifted to Fenrir's Herald briefly and returned quickly back to them "So new girl, you got some of that 'Lehariel Lighting' for the boss?" She teased giving a short wink before running off to get into the engagement, using the current chaos of the fight to get into one of Herald's blind spots for a critical strike. She hoped that the dude who got thrown would be alright, it would be a shame if he died before she got to know him better. He wasn't that bad of a fighter. This whole group was now a rainbow of characters, kinda like a bag of skittles she humorously thought.
