I honestly don't care what people think of me as long as a mutual respect can be reached to the extent of having fun with RP. :3

I do have most of another post almost ready. Its mostly to add onto my last one, but eh, why not?

Edit: Its an add-on post, not a double post. >x>
@XenoCyanide

Still ignoring you.

I wasn't really thinking while struggling out a post based on everyone else's setting the scene. Who'd be the most likely to bicker? :P

@Hawlin

I do believe that editing in mentions doesn't work as it won't actually ping the other user. I just noticed you edited me into one of your posts, yet I never received a notification of it.

Also, good to know.
A small concern wasn't remotely close to what it became. I still enjoy writing what I write and it isn't about who reacts to it that makes coming back to a thread worthwhile. If I didn't want to post, then I just wouldn't. I was incapacitated for a while, but I didn't mention it since the pace of the thread had been jumpy and I just worked with it.

I expected that issues I disclosed in PM would remain in pm and that issues would be discussed and worked through with time and effort. We've gotten far enough that 'quick fixes' would take time...and comperable effort from participants.
As such, I feel I've been doing my part in a casual-class rp.

Again, pardon for my absence.

Adding mention tags seems to send notifications where normal replies don't.

'In post' meaning that I edit in the '@' mention tags after posting the message.

Edit: Also, thanks. I'm feeling a lot better every day and hope Xen has the same luck with his health. x;
I'm not sure if adding mention tags to posts send notifications when added in post.
Though Everyone is kinda mentioned to one degree or another.

*shrug?*
Having never gotten an opportunity to read the letter in favor of tuning out Xen's ramblings, Kaite idly poked around the fire with a stick in an effort to gather embers together. Taking a sip from her wineskin, she sighed while doing her best to come off like she was ignoring him. In all, it wasn't so terrible of a crew and they weren't so different from the norm. Some had a code of honor, some were just along for the ride, but there was always one who wanted to be in charge in spite of calling on others to do work for them.

The 'peace' was broken by a guttural howl in the distance, Kaite pausing for a moment before resuming her trivial work. However, her other hand capped the wineskin to instead rest on her sword beside her. While she imagined the howl signified prey falling to the creature, there was no telling how many others could be right behind it and potentially drawn to the camp. This thought was requited as one of the hulking monstrosities of nature and anima broke from the darkness of the woods with gnashing jaws aimed for Tiberius.
Kaite was on her feet with a half-drawn sword as the spared creature leapt to seemingly tackle the beast with reckless abandon before the twisted maw that was her gaping chest shone in the dull light.

Kaite took her time getting ready as the storyteller moved to assist 'Vert', using a thumb to knock her visor down. "A frontal assault ain' a very clever way to die..." the knight disagreed with Ivan, taking a stance to address the darkness with splayed out arms as if to present herself to attackers before barking, "...but by all means! Is that all y'got?"
The glint of deep ice behind the shade of the helmet pierced the darkness of the brush, elven eyes watching the motions of leaves and ears keen for the snap of twigs. She must have looked like a fool, but you'd be amazed how the tactic worked against a band of amateur ambushers.
Pack beasts they may be, Kaite saw them no different even though their haunting presence made her hair stand on end. If anything, it'd be a comical irony to have the disease that was her black steel done in by a pack of glorified hounds.
I was waiting for Xen, but I guess we're just skipping right through it to later that night.
Its a post.
:x

Sorry for it being so late.

Also, I'm certain that I'm missing a few things. >_<;
@XenoCyanide@Lord Zee

After satiating the two youths with a repeat of her heinous 'trick' in payment for retrieving her steed, Kaite rode off with her newfound crew. It wasn't much different than other excursions, silently stationed to the side of the group to break and intercept threats if they occurred.
Her position fluctuated from one side to the next, seemingly paranoid in their vigilance though eventually calmed after coming to the conclusion that she wasn't babysitting tactless goons. The idea of 'Peers' was tough to get used to, but she supposed that's just what came with being a loner. Calming, Kaite finally took the time to pay attention to the conversations going on throughout the group at the mention of her name.

It was beginning to be some kind of comedy for her, not only receiving a letter with the implication that her whereabouts were known, but having been mentioned in other's letters as to hint that spooky faceless parties knew where she was and who she was affiliated with. It gave the knight a bit of a headache to think over, opening her visor to get some fresh air while those mentioned clambered for the letter in some vain interest of what someone they don't know thought of them. However, Kaite would be lying to say she didn't care, only that she was fine with waiting until a more appropriate moment like after they set up the camp that Xen alluded to moments before handing her the map like some kind of school assignment.

Without turning her head, ice blue eyes snapped to the corners of their sockets to look down at the man, an eyebrow raised in critical interest for his audacity to task her with something so benign as reading a map. Presented with such vague information as 'come up with a strategy', Kaite had half a mind to simply release the map to the wind in sheer defiance of the aristocrat who clearly demanded respect without showing it in return.
Kaite hadn't even looked at the map, still tall-ly watching Xen before asking, "Defense or offence? What are y'expecting ta be there or am I simply picking out a campin' site for your highness?" in a cold manner before gesturing with a nod to Tiberius. "E' probably has the actual military experience...or you...?" Kaite mused, looking down at the map after tossing off a tone that casually questioned Xen's significance beyond his title of 'leader'. In all honestly, if she knew what was being asked of her, skullduggery and experience as a bandit chief could easily give anything on the blank map a hard time.
@XenoCyanide

I guess my wording could be better. I missed my opportunity to post about heading out with the squad.
xD

Kaite was probably bumming around the gate waiting for everyone with her crew of impressionable youths.
