Turns out "why" questions are Ian's weakness. One word responses would have been a struggle there.

Ian nodded and placed his items back into the backpack. He thought back to Rylen's questions from a moment ago. Given the first question, he realized he didn't make it clear exactly who he was responding to with the last question.
"So why don't you think it'd be awesome? And what Pokemon is in the egg?... And why are you unpacking all your stuff here?" Ian had to ponder for a moment on how to answer the first one. Finally he decided exactly what he wanted to say.
"Meant I didn't get it from a daycare" He pointed to the dark blue egg. "It's a Sneasel, and I wanted to contribute." He knew it was a bit of a mouthful for him, but he didn't know how else to explain. He finally zipped the backpack back up and placed it back on his back. He nodded to the other two to make it clear he was ready to go. A picnic certainly didn't seem like a bad idea.

Rheese looked on slightly worried, he didn't know exactly how far Sophia had traveled to get here in comparison, and maybe his nature staved off a bit of the effects of the jet lag on his end. Really though, how were some individuals able to use psychic power? It didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense honestly, in the end the answer really didn't matter. He had seen it in action twice now, and Sophia clearly didn't have any wire or anything so it wasn't fake.
"Alright." Rheese said skeptically, he trusted that Sophia knew what she was doing, he certainly didn't understand any of it. When she showed off her new Purrloin he hesitated slightly, not entirely sure whether to call her out on the fact that her new Pokemon had just bitten her. "Well, it's no Gyarados but..." He said letting Cottonee out. "It's certainly something." He said with some trepidation. Cottonee looked up at Rheese, clearly unsure of where she was. "Cot" she said softly before hopping on his lap. Not that he really minded given how light the thing was. He gave it a quick glare and mumbled to himself. "You certainly weren't this light when you tried to asphyxiate me earlier."
@OtomostheCrazy I'd just stalk them from a distance til they aknowledge you. That could at least be fun.
I'll try and have a post up in like an hour.
