The sounds of sirens gained Lan's attention as he surveyed the area. The police arrived first, quickly setting up tape and such to mark off the crime scene. Seconds later, a pair of ambulances pulled up. The paramedics quickly loaded the Rheese onto a stretcher and loaded him up in the first vehicle as the two men from the wrecked ambulance were helped into the second. When he was offered a ride back to Mesalon, he calmly refused as he would rather enjoy the walk. Turning towards the young trainers, he spoke up.
"Now I'm sure you are all exhausted after today's events, so I've had one of my apprentices call the Pokemon Center and arrange for food and lodging for each of you for the night. If any of you wish to challenge my gym, I would ask that you do so in the morning once you have all rested. Your friend over there is going to be taken to the Hospital in Mesalon, so if you would like a ride there feel free to accompany him on board the Ambulance." With that Lan offered the trainers a respectful bow and began walking back towards Mesalon.

All Rheese could think about was the very real possibility that he had been killed and that the pain in his ribs and extreme daze he was feeling were simply part of being dead. If it wasn't, he would certainly prefer death to it. The last thing he even remembered was Wooper leaping towards that maniac's Aerodactyl before everything just went black.
He tried to open his eyes and maybe even move, but to no avail. Moments later he just slipped back into unconsciousness hoping that everyone was alright.
I swear I've been working on one, just been wrecked by rl stuff at the moment.
@LuckyBlackCat It is a common problem here, I'll probably manage a post tomorrow night if nobody else does.
@LuckyBlackCat Rheese is definitely going to want to at least watch other people challenge Lan, he was the only one that didn't get to see his entrance.
@LuckyBlackCat I don't think I'll be nicknaming things, it's never been my thing.
Wasn't really sure what else to put there, we'll be heading off to Mesalon soon.

"I'm no doctor young lady, but at the very least I believe they will all survive." Lan said with a sigh, the paramedics would certainly have some scarring and breaks to deal with. He turned to the young man that had addressed him shortly after and smiled warmly. "My name is Lan Sohai, I am in charge of the monastery nestled at the heart of Mesalon as well as the gym. As for those men, I can only guess...Given the unnatural strength and ferocity of that Aerodactyl, I can say it was modified in some fashion. The only people within Kosei with the kind of reputation to do something so ghastly to a pokemon...could be Team Noble, though that's simple postulation. Whoever they were, their promise to return was most troubling."
After answering the questions of a few of the young trainers, Lan walked towards the young lady that had separated a bit from the group. From the bit of activity that had been happening around her and her humming, that he assumed was some kind of coping mechanism it was clear that she was a psychic. in her current state, however, he could only assume she didn't have proper control of her abilities. Keeping his distance he gave her a welcoming smile. Truthfully he had only dealt with a few psychics in his past, some coming to the monastery for the sake of meditation and honing their focus, while others came to seek Kosei's resident psychic gym leader that stopped by on the occasion. That being said, it wouldn't be the first time he had seen someone, though usually a Pokemon, struggle with their abilities. In her current state though, he could only offer a smile.
