And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Druid has provided the information they could indeed come to know of. I shall provide an update on the actions of the kobold come tomorrow!
That is another dead kobold @Lucius Cypher, leaving one standing.

@Zverda - You are up! The opponent is I believe 50 feet from your position.
How far the kobolds are from each other. And by extension the nearest one to him, since the closest (immediate range) was slain.
@Lucius Cypher - He can. Ten foot gaps.
@Ryonara - Save fails at 12. Damage and disadvantage will be applied.

Moving onward to Orchid @Lucius Cypher.
@Ryonara The only Winged Kobold that participated in this combat is dead. You may want to redirect your attack.
So, here we are. And the results of the past two attacks are as follows.

@Norschtalen - Kyra hits her shot despite the Winged Kobold's attempts to dodge. The lone airborne enemy has been shot down and killed.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity - Brannor hits his attack just as well, making short work of another adversary. Two remain on ground.

It is now Parum's turn @Ryonara.

Sorry this took me a while, getting adjusted to my new study period. Should have more time I can set aside for these smaller updates starting from now, since I'll have five days a week to work on the things instead of three like on this first one.
Will provide status update tomorrow towards my noon!
The poison seeped in through the druid's leg, and left their mind hazy. As if that was not enough on its own, the entire world seemed to be showing up in quintuple, and an odd chill that travelled through the tiger form's spine was followed by a great wave of nausea. It would all last for but a few seconds, but it was all long enough for it to be a distraction that halted any possible advance towards the fight itself. Torus had to spent all his resources on collecting himself, both mental and physical, and he could only thank the Gods that his body would soon be rid of this strange agent.

What went unseen for them thanks to this period of feeling ill would have been the death of the first adversary, the weapon of the half-orc cutting through scale, flesh and bone, the kobold left as a rapidly expanding pool of blood garnished with two halves of its twitching self. Orchid's form was splattered with the red mixture, a repugnant smell hitting the nose of everyone close by. The attack had not only cut into muscle, it was easy enough to tell.

The remaining three on the ground wouldn't leave said attack be left unanswered, for one of them left their sling behind and looped around the frontline of the adventurers, weaving to the flank of the heavily armoured man with the forward momentum still maintained in the slice of the dagger that sent sparks flying from the armour but little else. Yet its distracting presence was enough for the two of its kind to capitalise on, and the brief distraction as the packmate swished past the half-orc proved an efficient tactic, a stone flung from a sling smacking him square on the collarbone. Brannor in turn would, despite this distraction, find his armour an adequate defence against the enemy with yet another rock bouncing off to the side.

The flash of coloured fire called the small and agile critters to evasive manoeuvres. The bard's magic rolled forward, catching the first of the kobolds by surprise, but the remaining two she had barely managed to fit within the area of the spell would be less perturbed by this sudden magical intrusion as it failed to catch on. In the end, only one target stood illuminated among those targeted. Not the most desirable conclusion for the adventurers, but the inhabitants of the cave were all too overjoyed.

Their winged brethren joined the fray finally with its wings spreading and beating, taking it to the air with it picking out a stone from the cave floor and taking off to the air, each further beat of its wings providing its movement an erratic quality that almost made its flight seem drunken. But each wobble was an intentional attempt to throw off any offensive move towards it as it prepared an attack of its own.
