Yeah, that is the idea. I want to start as group together in a town anyway. Maybe Vah'lux has been following Bill back to town and decided to join him on this quest as Bill has a reason to go for a get rich quick scheme. Would something along those lines work for Vah'lux?

@Milkman Am I to assume that Kaitlyn Smith will approach us in a town, or does that really matter? Just asking, because I'm not sure if Vah'lux has had any reason to visit a town while traversing the wilderness. It would definitely be a fish-out-of-water experience for her regardless, lol.

Update the "relationship status" in my CS, bc I realized it said "widowed", which was going to be part of the original backstory but I figured there was enough tragedy already

That is certainly possible. My character spend some time wandering the desert and is currently somewhat settled in Christiana Town doing all kinds of odd jobs in an attempt to repay a debt.

Yeah, just read Bill's CS. Love it. Especially the part about his connection being more distant from the spirits/totem since he'd been banished.

I think Vah'lux could feel the same at time, even though she wasn't banished, but still being away from her people for so long has an effect regardless.

I'm working on a character. He has a tribal background as well. But his relationship with his tribe is strained and cannot go back without paying his debts. Not sure yet about the race :D

Nice! maybe our characters cross paths during their own travels, since both were probably wandering/surviving on their own for some time.
