Also, actually typing up that admission about not reading IC posts made me feel really regretful, giving me a bit of perspective of how that sounds. I'm the GM, I should be ontop of shit in the IC aswell as the OOC to make sure everything's kosher, at the very least. Or be able to provide a reference for what the current events are in-game for curious newcomers that are either thinking about applying or are out of the loop.

I apologize to all of you and am making a vow that henceforth, I shall remain up-to-date on the goings on of the game and will begin reading every post that isn't mine from the beginning right now. I won't "like" a post until I've fully read it. If I've already liked your post, you'll be getting an unlike followed by a new like.

I have an overall idea on where my season is going, but not a strict outline of beat by beat planning. In Gwen's world, she'll be going into Senior Year of high school with all the emotions and drama of that. In Spider-Woman's world, I'm planning on having an escalating gang war that will bleed into a superhuman arms race for dominance of the city, which is also how some of the new versions of Spidey's rogues will come about. Hoping to have the two dance with one another in the ways all great Spider-(Wo)Man stories do.

I also have smaller, self contained arcs that deal with introducing villains like Vulture, Firefly (loaned graciously by MB), and Electro that I can fit in as "filler" here and there that don't deal directly with the story at large.

Wouldn't mind showing up in Gotham or Metropolis here and there as well.

Re: 2nd characters, I have a fun idea I’d like to jump on at some point, but am totally cool with waiting until next season or whatever. I totally understand why we’re restricting it right now, and I think it’s leading to the best start we’ve had on one of these games in a while

I hope as time passes we embrace the "One Universe"-ness of it more and more, too.

I think it's tempting to kind of hedge your bets and focus on the ultimised aspects of your character but essentially keep their supporting cast and villains the same – or to do the opposite and keep the characters roughly the same and integrate a slightly more mixed cast.

With the F4 I've kind of done the latter but I'm hoping to do both more the further I get into things – and from talking to a few of you away from the OOC thread, some of you have similar plans. Which is exciting.

I’ll be introducing at least one DC villain into this season, just not sure where they fit in exactly. I think I’ve got a fun twist on them. Considering another but I need to run it by their Hero’s player pray.
