Hexaflexagon (Concept)
In geometry, flexagons are flat models, usually constructed by folding strips of paper, that can be flexed or folded in certain ways to reveal faces besides the two that were originally on the back and front.

Hexaflexagon (Person?)
Academic who somehow got conned into working for the Government. Been role-playing both on forums and TTRPGs for close to twenty years at this point. I'm like 99% retired from active RPing on the Guild, but I still like to poke my head onto here once in a while to make sure that I didn't leave the lights on.

From what's about to happen, I can tell that I'm fucked already. How the hell are we supposed to run from him if he is blocking the way out, a.k.a, towering over Hymn?I got it, we use the Caterpillar as bait, and force him to kill him while we all run. Would that work? Also, how fast is this Banderanatch?

As fast as plot and drama demands it I would imagine.

Appearance:

Height:5'7|Weight: 119 lbs|Hair Color: White/Blonde/Whatever you want to call it|Eye Color: Blue|Skin-tone: Fair
Name: Igarashi Rei
Age: 17
History:
They say that when people are born that they are drawn their lot in life and that your fate was determined as soon as you are born. That nothing was ever predetermined or already known. If this was true then Rei must have drawn the short stick at the beginning. What Rei is must known for is being the lone survivor of the brutal massacre of her family. When she was just nine years old four mentally unhinged individuals broke into her family's house and using gun's and knives took the family hostage. In the hours that followed this the men would slowly began to extract their revenge on the world through the Igarashi family. When the police finally was able to find them the rest of them where dead and Rei had been brutalized by her hostage takers in more ways then one. She would be permanently damaged due to this even becoming an anxious, paranoid human being that would be scared to say boo to a squirrel. The world that seemed so bright only days before suddenly became much darker much quicker and it was around that time that she began to realize that the whole world had begone to go mad and the only one that seemed to have noticed was little old her.

She spent the rest of her childhood with her older Cousin Tarou and his family who happened to live in the same area as them and where happy to take the girl in who now had nothing. They provided her with a warm new life and somewhere she could sleep but it would never really be the same. The curtains had been pulled back for her and everything and everyone was seemingly plotting against her even her own friends and family. The only place she was safe was in her own room where all she would do was to look down at the old pocket watch, that her father used to carry around with him everywhere it went. It was the only thing that felt warm and safe to her and she would spend hours upon hours taking it apart and putting it back together again. But she would eventually have to go back to school she would eventually have to go step outside and see the world again. She couldn't hide away forever.

But school was another batch of problems all together she was surrounded by people that were too loud and there constant droning on would make her head hurt. For the first few years after the accident she never talked to anybody, she eat her lunches alone and only spoke when the teacher called on her and even then it was just a whisper. She didn't need the world around her she didn't want to get hurt again and so the sanest option was to just avoid people for they where what caused her pain. Though she had little in terms of creative talent falling in writing, art and music. Those that required more methodical approaches those that seemed constant and were not open to interpretation she excelled mathematics, grammar and history where facts mattered more than opinions. Friends were kind of not a thing she got a hold of easily always having that nagging feeling in the back of her head that they were all just making fun of her, that they were all just like the men in the house. Even though she knew they were separate entities she could not and was not mentally willing to allow the capacity for her to care again because it just hurt more when they had to go away because they never stayed, they always left you eventually.

Eventually it all lead up the point where she went out of her way to stop at the old repairman's shop before she went back home. He was a kind old man that specialized in repairing clocks who came to expect the girl who came into his shop almost everyday. She would just ask if she could take apart one of his clocks and because business was usually slow the man did not mind and would try to talk to the girl but he only get small tidbits and sparks. But what he did notice was the girl had a talent and almost something deeply troubling her and so he allowed to stay because when she worked on the clocks she seemed almost at piece with herself. But when it was time for him to close up shop for the day it being late in the afternoon she bid him farewell and went down the road back to her house. It was then that the world went black and she was dragged down the rabbit hole to wonderland.

Personality:
Death and chance where the things that pulled back the curtains on the worlds dark and macabre underbelly. To see it all for what it was to see the capacity for violence and blood that man was willing to go. To see it there was no going back to the world you once knew, there was know pretending that it never existed. No matter what others would try and tell you otherwise. Once you look the darkness in the face part of it was always be trapped somewhere in the back of your head. It became hard for Rei to find the brighter parts of the human existence once she let the shadows out once she able to see the "real" world and what it was. Some would call her a pessimist she would prefer the term of a realist. She knew that the whole world had gone mad but it seemed that she was the only one to notice and the only one to care. That was why she locked herself away in her room in her nice warm bed, for in her room the shadows can't get in because people can't bring them in. She was alone with her thoughts and turning gears of clocks.

Because of her misanthropic personality she generally is not one to make friends very easily with people. For people scared her because they only came in two forms those that hurt her and those that went away and she did not like either of them. For example just around a year for her to final speak with Tarou and the rest of his family at dinner and around the house. It took more then that for her to speak in more then a few sentences. For as crazy as it sounded when she looked at them all she saw was somebody that would go and die and leave her all alone. But if one did get her to warm up to them they would find not much beside a girl that was broken by the conditions that was thrown in front of her. That allowed the never ending doubt that the it was all meaningless slip into her head and take up root where it would be allowed to spread its slow poison.

Jittery and anxious she did not talk much except when it seemed that others wanted her to stop talking. She spoke quickly and rapidly almost seemingly without breaths between her sentences in an almost hyperactive style. But it was more because she just wanted to be done with the conversation so that she would not have to interact with someone anymore. Because of this and her tendency to the words she spoke where never anything nice and happy but generally depressing and forced one to exaimne their own mortality and existence in ways that most would prefer to be blindly oblivious too leads to most people butting heads or finding her off putting.

The anxiety steaming from the events of her past has always lead her to be quite easy to scare. She was always on a hair trigger switch that could easily be flipped and lead to her freaking out in one way or another. This is often expressed by her running away in whatever direction the thing that is currently causing the rising amount of dread is not in. Which can be problematic at times because she might run right into other problems. But when it comes down to it it would seem her body favors her flight reflexes over her fight ones. Which is of course probably the smart thing to do because she is a small skinny thing that punches could not do that much damage in the long run.

Oh what the heck I will volunteer myself to take the task of creating a charterer that will most likely be murdered and broken mentally in a horrible fashion! Because if that is not fun well then I don't know what is.

Prefer to start sooner rather than later. In regards to being picked up sooner or later, it doesn't particularly matter to me. Just whenever you stop by the Circle, so I guess that depends on our templar friend and when s/he wants to be picked up.

And our Templar friend is not even stationed at Kinloch Hold right now being through the forest, and into the woods, past grandmother's house in relative distance. Being all the way in Gwaren and all. Just saying :P

That does bring up the question of how are you going to decide whether or not someone lives after the joining? A coin toss, a simple yay or nay, or some other way of deciding?

I believe he will go with the time honored tradition of going to New Zealand and finding two hobbits kidnapping them and naming one Live and the other Die. He shall then give them each a rusty spoon and telling them kill the other and you shall be freeded. Whoever lives decides if you survive the joining or not. Then again that is not the most practical option is it?
