I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

It amuses me that Julianna thinks the clergy don't know.

I think you have the wrong idea here, its just easiest for clergy to verify the presence of an undead[well this is an assumption on my part but typically in fantasy settings the church is usually the most versed on all things undead]. Also its not the clergy that want the evidence it's the nobles. Even if a majority of the nobles are aware of the fact already its always handy to have concrete proof on hand, especially if the clergy are in on the secret.
Julianna had managed to finally get around that big tree but she quickly realized that her help was not needed. Fanilly was safe in Sult's arms, Sir Garret was fighting the large man and the undead knight was on the scene as well. It was annoying but her help was certainly not needed.

"Guess I should have known those fanatics would manage to get there in time, I was worried for nothing." Julianna sighed as she turned back around to help contain the remaining bandits and make sure nothing else went wrong.

At this point pretty much all the bandits were either dead or had already surrendered so there was little else to do but make sure no bandits escape as the remaining fighters were quickly cut down. Tiral was able to douse the fire thankfully so there would not be the threat of a fire breaking out and destroying them in the clever trap. Overall the battle was won but not much had really gone their way, their captain had put the company's lives in danger at least twice by charging on ahead and a few good men had lost their lives in the skirmish.

At the moment Julianna had nothing really to show for the battle, except for a few bruises and scrapes from her encounters with bandits but that changed when a knight showed up beside her.

"Dame Julianna, here is the spear head from the weapon lodged in the undead." The knight was one of the Iron Rose Knights completely in the noble faction devoted toward changing the system. "I know its not much but anything that can bring us a step closer to changing this archaic system is what I'm after. By the goddesses today was almost a disaster!"

Julianna quickly took the spear head and hid it on her person. Like the knight had said it was not much but the piece of evidence would help build up their argument. Even though the spear had been used as a weapon again in battle, since it had been lodged in the undead the magic keeping her alive would still be on the spear head which would be detectable by the clergy.

At least the day was not a total waste.

"Thank you for your cooperation, I'll make sure my family remembers your deeds." Julianna watched as the knight nodded, then left her side to help contain the bandits. Julianna rejoined the main force to help take command while the captain and the others were occupied.

"Bandits! Lay down your arms and surrender immediately, those who refuse will meet the sword for your crimes against the people of this kingdom! This is your only warning!" Julianna looked over at the bandits but at this point most of the fight was gone from them, the fight was now pretty much over except where the captain was.
Online time gonna be spotty for next few days, just a heads up.
Julianna was searching as hard as she could for their enemy but he was nowhere to be seen. She had only run into the occasional bandit so far and frankly there was wasn't much of worth in any of the structures, mostly tents, for the bandits to fight for. This was all highly suspicious.

"Where is he? If he is not here then..." Julianna's blood ran cold as the implications started to settle in. The main opponent was not in the camp which could only mean one thing, he was never there to begin with.

Her thoughts turned out to be correct as a gigantic crashing sound could be heard from outside the camp. Julianna turned around toward the source wide eyed, a large, burning tree that crackled from the flames had fallen on the ground and trapped on the other side was Fanilly. Standing in front of the small captain was a very large man with an equally enormous sword. There was no question who this was.

"Arg! This wouldn't be happening if I was in command!" Julianna could not help but lament; however, inside she was downright terrified at what could happen. The battle would no doubt be won no matter what but if they lost their captain in exchange it would be a great blemish on their order. On the other hand, having the captain so miserably fail and fall in battle would but her noble faction backings ahead, but that was not how she wanted to become captain, she wanted to earn that position, not just fill in an empty space.

Julianna thankfully was not too far from her location due to where the main tents were located but she wasn't exactly close either. Julianna gritted he teeth and started to charge but it was a bit of distance to cross. She saw Sir Garett charge up before her as he abandoned all defense to reach her in time, but he was also wounded by a crossbow shot, he would lose too much blood and soon be unable to fight most likely.

The goddess Mayron was looking down at her as she rushed forward, trying to avoid the burning tree to get to the captain as she sensed something coming toward her. Normally one would hold their shield flat to stop any arrows but this was a crossbow shot and required a bit more finesse. Julianna tilted her shield to give it an angle so when the bolt hit, it bounced off the shield instead of piercing through.

There was another crossbow user aside from the one Fanilly had taken out. There was little chance of her reaching the assailant in time before the next bolt was fired even if crossbows took a while to reload. Julianna could only keep going while holding her shield at an angle, unfortunately this tactic left her somewhat exposed to a good shot. All she could do was keep going and hope for the best.

Thankfully a skilled shot downed the crossbowman before they could unload another bolt. She thanked whoever that archer was in her mind and continued forward, getting closer and closer by the second.
Tiral's water and ice magic was quite impressive as it completely shattered the wooden barricades in front of the group. Front this initial charge it was quite clear that the battle was already won; however, she just hoped the archers had the sense to stop fighting soon after the initial volley and instead focus on taking down anyone trying to escape. A few more arrows flew overhead as she charged in, shield held out in front like a bulwark she plunged into the fray.

A fearful bandit tried to attack her from the front but her shield completely blocked him and a quick thrust with her sword pierced his abdomen. The man doubled over in pain but she already had her sights on the next target. A bandit with a little more sense tried to run past her but she slammed the edge of her shield into his side, causing him to stumble which allowed her to make quick work of the bandit before he could recover.

They had two objectives in this battle. One, was to wipe out the bandits completely, which meant allowing none of them to escape. The second was securing the Bandit King. If possible, no doubt capturing him alive would be the best outcome as the nobles back home would doubtlessly love to have such a prize to make an example of.

If she had been in command her priority would have been to make sure no one escaped, but as just a simple knight, finding and capturing the Bandit King would be her best priority, after all if some escaped it would not be her fault. Julianna started to search through the camp to find the man in charge, not bother to chase after or engage bandits unless they came to her.

Where was he? Was he perhaps resting somewhere when the attack occurred? Perhaps he was where the greatest concentration of bandits were? Trusting her instinct she noticed some makeshift structures in the camp and started to make her way toward them, bashing anyone her happened to get in her way.

She kept herself as silent as possible so she wouldn't draw as much attention as the idiots screaming and grunting as they fought. She would find him first if she was lucky.
@harinezumikouken: Pffft. She's the main character for the first major actual plot for the setting, actually.

Fittingly for a fiery temper, she has a sword that bursts into divine solar fire in response to "righteous fury".

Fanilly seems to be very attuned to Reon if she goes all Solar like that. Which is quite interesting considering the Iron Rose Knights were founded from the Mayonite Order.
Still here.
Still here but if no one else wants to fight little green men, not much we can do.
Julianna watched as a few more people showed up and then started to disperse into their respective groups to take over the bandit camp. The Iron Rose Knights certainly had become an interesting lot over the years she could not help but think, especially after seeing the doctor head over to the captain.

Now of some interest to Julianna was Hundi, Ian Vanafir, partially because it was rare for a non-human to be in the Iron Rose Knights, secondly, because of his unique method of fighting using two tower shields. It was quite impressive for someone to take using shields even further than most Mayron Paladins did and as a fellow shield user it was fascinating to see, that being said using two shield would weigh her down too much so she would stick to her more standard equipment.

The young captain had split the team into four groups and made a temporary commander of each of them. Of course she had not been given such a position even though she had a firm grasp of tactics and command. The green captain was leading the first group, then there was Sir Tyaethe, which made sense considering she had the most experience, Sir Aethelmund, a respectable man and veteran, then for some reason Sir Tiral.

Julianna was surprised at the choice, the knight was talented for sure with his magical abilities and all but as far as she knew he was not exactly one versed in command or tactics.

As time was now of the essence Julianna bit her tongue to stop herself from protesting. Then she thought to herself, "If I had been in charge I would have split our forces into three groups. Two would go to the sides to create a pincer maneuver while the third would go to the back to cut off the bandits chance of escape. Having one less group would make coordinating much easier, plus if one group accidentally stumbles into the camp they would have more forces to work with until the other two could arrive, also encirclement can take too much time and keeping to a more simple formation allows for more quick and decisive action. Since we already dealt with that ambush there is a higher chance the enemy could catch on to our movements as well. Well if its like this my best option would be to join Sir Tiral."

Her mind made up, Julianna joined with Sir Tiral's growing group. The reason she did was because their group would complete the encirclement and it would be their job to prevent anyone from escaping. They had to move quickly though. She walked over to Sir Tiral and could not help but think this command should have been her's, but she kept that from showing on her personage.

"Sir Tiral, let's make sure none of them escape. We should proceed with as much haste and stealth as possible." She gave a quick nod toward him as a sign of respect, even if she didn't feel like it, and readied herself to get going. She was not about to let this mission fail.
Elarinya

Location: Gohan's Training Grounds

Battle was joined as Saibamen clashed with the fighters gathered. Elarinya's first instinct was to protect Gohan but was unable to as two Saibamen rushed toward her. Elarinya hopped backward and hovered above the Saibamen who looked at her menacingly. She watched as Gohan was tackled to the ground but thankfully one of the fighters managed to give him some breathing room, even though she could get over there she was not about to turn her back on these little monsters.

"Deploying monsters is a coward's way to fight but thankfully," Elarinya pointed a palm down at the saibamen with her armored hand, "monster hunting is my specialty."

A blast of black and red ki erupted from her palm to fall down upon her opponents. The saibamen saw recognized the danger in time and managed to dodge out of the way, splitting themselves apart from each other. The saibamen instantly countered by jumping up at the butterfly woman, claws extended to do as much damage as possible. With one quick wing beat, Elarinya dodged under their assault and grabbed a leg from each of them. They gave up grunts of surprise from her quick reflexes and screeched as she swung them around and threw them into a nearby cliff-side.

One managed to right itself before impact but the other found itself head first in dirt and rock. The recovered one opened up its head and sprayed a powerful acid at Elarinya but her insect senses quickly recognized the danger allowing her to dodge the incoming torrent. She fired a ki blast in response causing the saibamen to run then she rocketed herself toward the saibamen who had just extricated itself from the mountain side. It turned around just in time to see armored Elarinya ram her hand into is chest, the exoskeleton making her hand into an armored claw that easily pierced through the plant based monster.

The saibamen gave out a screech before falling silent as she quickly discarded the corpse, her experience telling her that it was never good to stay around even deceased monsters as their anatomy could be quite deadly.

"I think I've seen enough to say you guys aren't very interesting monsters." She sounded disappointed as she tried to find the remaining saibamen. The monsters needed to be disposed of quickly before they had a chance to do any real damage.
