I've been at work for a half day, but it hasn't been bad. I'm excited to see the new Fast and Furious movie this weekend though or whenever I get a chance to go next week. I should also have the IC thread up tonight so there's that too. I really should catch up on my TV shows though. I have so many of them and I can't keep up with all of'em lol. I watch far too much shit in general, it's almost like a chore these days.

Bloodborne is one of my favorite games of all time. I remember being obsessed with it for a full month after it came out lol (in which time I beat it!). The final boss (the one after you make a certain choice) is hard as balls though. I look back on it and am happy I beat him, but my god was I pissed as hell during the entire fight haha. It's such a good game though, I was gonna play it again, but somehow my save got corrupted and there is now way I'm rebuilding my stats from scratch. The game was way too frustrating for that. It was great though.

We will be officially starting the IC on Tuesday of next week--mostly because it's my off day lol. We will also be keeping submissions open for a period of time in the very beginning phases of the narrative. In light of this, new applicants are welcome to submit character sheets directly to the OOC thread where we will go over them until submissions are formally closed.
To help inspire some first post creativity, I will share that everyone's first post will allow them to write the death scene of their character before transitioning into a resurrection scene that will extend from my own intro. It's not often you get to write death scenes for characters so go crazy with that haha.
As always, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask myself or @Noxious and we will help you to the best of our ability. Thanks for joining and we will make this a grand experience together.

@GreenGoat - I wouldn't play a hunting game for story so that sounds pretty good. Maybe I'll pick it up on PC, I need to play more games on it as it is lol. I got the new Mass Effect on it just so I'd play on it more often, but then more PS4 games came out. It's a travesty haha.
@corneredbliss - Persona 5 is excellent thus far. 4 is my favorite game of all time and 5 is shaping up to take its place. If you like dungeon crawling and life sim elements with a lenient time management component, try it out. It's so fun.

I've heard of stories untold, but never played it. Too busy with Persona 5 to really play anything else at all at the moment lol.
I'm honestly hesitant on a Discord server. Before I knew Discord was a thing, I would chat in numerous OOC threads and it was pretty great. Discord, in my experiences, can draw attention away from the threads and sometimes lead to slow RP deaths. Considering the narrative in this is already written out, I have no problems with using the OOC thread for both chatter and RP related discussions. Hell, the two almost go hand in hand lol.
As for how the IC will start... Well, without going into detail, we are starting from the natural beginning. You all will be able to write your own death scenes before transitioning into the resurrection. It'll be clear when I post the first post.

@Sypherkhode822 - Good updates, thanks for making those changes. Positing Julius as a leader of Mage-Right will be a thought-provoking angle in the RP. I'm curious to see how all of these characters will be played within a team dynamic as well as developing their own motivations and personal goals. Good job. Really nice edit on the Object Possession too, that's more of what I wanted to see.
So, now that we've got a nice set of characters submitted, I'll make a small announcement. We're going to let the submission period run until the end of this week and then I'll begin the IC next week. We may begin earlier than that if me and my Co-GM decide, but I'll let you guys know in advance if that becomes the plan. For now, I will say that everyone who submitted a character thus far--@corneredbliss@GreenGoat and Sypher--is approved. You can go ahead and post your sheets under the character tab if you still wish to be part of this roleplay. I'm glad to see such a variety of characters and the diversity will only benefit us as we pursue the narrative and whatever sub-plots you guys decide to come up with.

@GreenGoat - That'll work. Thanks for being understanding. Don't post the character under the tab yet, however. The submission period is still running, presently.
@GreenGoat - Interesting concept indeed. I was wondering throughout the entire sheet if you were going to directly say what Helja and her father were accused of until I got down to the family section. It seemed like you were teasing just enough to reveal more in the IC, but the family section cleared some of my thoughts up at least. I like it. I also kind of like that she was killed by the Consortium without being arrested. I envisioned all the characters ending up in prison first somehow, but this isn't a bad either. I also like her personality and upbringing. A rich and sheltered kind of character isn't new by any means, but in the vein of this world I feel like you're going to be able to really expand on that and develop the character in a unique way. At least, I'm super intrigued to see how you play her in the IC.
Unfortunately, there are a few problems mainly with your spell, Dead Shape. Dead Shape, while not bad, is way too broad. The definition of dead material varies; I'd be fine with her being able to shape her own flesh into objects or other material, but it would need to be one or the other for now. I would also say the complexity of the object she shapes should increase the magic used to create it. There will be a chance for people to sort of upgrade spells later on (Something I haven't talked about thus far), but at this moment, think a bit smaller scale and more definitive.
Overall, this is another fascinating character to add to the cast. I like the concept and the potential within it. Great job. Oh, and plus ten points for using a Metal Gear reference lol.
