Domain (Portfolio) Description: One may think that hedonism would be a strange domain for a demigod, and they would certainly be right. However logic goes out the window when the demigod in question was created from a mixture of the essence of the God of Chaos, essence of the Goddess of Beauty, and a very, very strong alcohol. 

Maeus's domain gives him the ability to exude an aura that in simple terms lowers the inhibition of those close enough to be caught within it. He gives them the ability to pursue what brings them pleasure for a limited time without worry or fear of repercussion. His main focus at the time is on drinking, and because of this it is the desire that stands out the greatest in the minds of those affected by his aura. 

Maeus does not have complete control of his aura currently, he is able to lessen its potency but he cannot negate it. Other demigods may feel the effects when he is not restricting his aura but nowhere near the extent that mortals do. Gods are obviously exempt.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Personality: Maeus is almost always in a state of perpetual happiness, though this maybe due to the fact that he is also always in a state of perpetual drunkenness. Regardless he likes to consider himself a likeable fellow, always up for a chat with fellow drinkers and nondrinkers alike. He believes strongly that everyone should be able to pursue that which brings them pleasure, so long as it doesn't infringe too heavily upon the pleasure seeking of others. 

The only way to even slightly upset the demigod is to prevent him from accessing alcohol in some for or another, though typically this situation is resolved before he gets too disgruntled. 

As should be apparent Maeus enjoys drinking heavily, and while his favorite drink is one of his own making he makes sure to always sample the local supply provided there is any. If there is not he is more than willing to share his own with the people, happy to provide them with a pleasure that they are clearly lacking. 

Musical Theme:

Description: The view others would have on Maeus would vary strongly depending on their personality. Many may seem him as a being of chaos, as he often leaves places more disheveled than when he arrived. However the effects are temporary, at least at the moment, and the city/town/village/homestead will quickly return back to normal. Others may seem him for what he sees himself as, a bringer of happiness and relaxation.
