The problem is against Ruchette the heat is pointless and she can likely defend quite a bit with her diamonds.

However, I suppose I have the speed/strength advantage on her. It would be somewhat doable, just difficult, which is fine. It'd be a challenge :P

She can, although she'd have to breathe so can't completely cover her entire face all the time. Face stabbing is just one example to get the point across. Stab any open place and he'd have the strength to pierce her natural defenses unless it's a glancing blow. She could defend well with her diamonds but has some qualities about her power that can be exploited, which his speed would be very handy in taking advantage of.

For me, having weaponizable wings and a sword would be more than enough to wreck havoc. Your melee combat capability really skyrockets if you have more appendages to strike and guard with than your opponent.

Ruchette has diamond tail and arm creation for a reason. She could create "wings" but they'd be useless for their original purpose and not nearly as good as a second set of arms in the new purpose.

Is it her skin/muscle that is that resistant to heat, or is it literally all of her body including her internal organs?

All of her body is infused with it, so literally everything...besides the bacteria. No way that's exploitable though. Like, at all, so don't even attempt it. *walks away whistling nonchalantly

Okay, so even if you killed the bacteria with heat, that wouldn't do any damage to her within the time frame of the battle and in this tournament it's logically implied that they'd be restored as well or else everyone would suffer if the bacteria isn't normal and going along with them for the ride.

Lisitia quickly swung her hands, clutching onto the handle of her weapon, upwards and to the left in an arc motion, angling the mostly horizontal blade slightly downwards to clash into her opponent's just in the nick of time, her reactions swift enough to allow this much but she could tell that he had gotten a lot quicker with this latest strike, spelling trouble for her if her body couldn't quite keep up with the attacks to come should they keep up with this intensity. Because of this she didn't want to stay on the defensive where she could be worn down and defeated. She needed to counterattack, and fast, to have the best chance of success, especially with her 30 seconds of battle time with her shield not lasting for too much longer, all things considered.

She charged forward with max acceleration, sliding her blade along the inside edge of his as she went. If she managed to close the remaining gap she would joust the tip of her blade forward, coming from the left and angled to the right toward's his groin. He wasn't getting away with his own groin attack attempt without expecting one used against him as well. Besides, with the angle of her blade and the height she was locked in with his, she couldn't really aim higher. This was the best target she had to debilitate him quickly. She hoped her shield would hold up to any attacks sent her way as she closed in.

It seems like it went from last post made 1 day ago to last post made 3 days ago. Unless I'm going crazy, two days have transpired within the course of a single day. *twilight zone theme starts to play

Whatever the case may be, this is my top priority at the moment.

EDIT: Posted. As so this shall be known as the battle of wounded groins.

Maybe it's high pressure that it melts? Whatever the case, after this tournament is over and if I keep using her I can change some stuff to maybe make her half resistant. Of course her diamond itself will retain full normal diamond resistances.

1,292 degrees Fahrenheit, that's how hot.
