@Crossfire would it be alright if my character came in a little late because of some bs that with her transport. maybe some guy fell asleep from tiredness and delayed the approval for her flight of sorts. or the pilot didn't come to work and had to be replaced on-site because they suddenly got sick? stuff like that. i just wanted to join the present fun when i can finally write a response tomorrow when i get my laptop back.

Modded LP4 (.45 Gauss Beretta) Pistol (2 pcs):
The LP4 is a semi-automatic handgun that uses .45 bullets as ammunition. Because it uses gauss technology, the gun has less recoil, more power, but heavier by 205 grams (plus 163 grams more with the additional grappling hook attachment) in comparison to its more original ballistic siblings. It has been modified to allow a grappling hook attachment for Matija’s harnesses.

SV-98 GS Series Sniper Rifle:
The original SV-98 was designed to “engage targets at a range up to 1,000 m (1,100 yd)”. Its heavier, bulkier, and more powerful sibling, the SV-98 GS (gauss) series increases its range for up to 500 m (550 yd) but with the additional weight for the electromagnets (plus 0.5 k for the original 7.8 kg). The effective firing range for this gun is 1500 but will experience considerable environmental effects (wind, gravity, etc.) after 300 meters.

Armor:
Modified Ragno Experimental Gravity Armor (see image in appearance):
A medium powered armor that can ground the user to a surface that they are standing on for a total of 15 minutes within a single charge. While the rest of the armor is designed to support the user’s body as well as distribute the artificial gravity throughout the body, the armor’s footwear carries the brunt of its gravitational power. The footwear is aesthetically bulky, but its sole is designed to almost completely muffle the user’s footfalls to effectively hide the user from audio detection. While the armor’s function remains the same, Matija had already heavily modified the suit for her own use, barely resembling the original design.

Originally, the armor was created for reconnaissance and space travel for low-gravity planets (to stop the use of weights). It was supposed to be “a personal artificial gravity field that allows its user to launch themselves to any direction and walk on any surface, regardless of orientation (i.e. the user’s initial and aimed orientation) for almost an indefinite period of time (time is battery dependent)”.

Worn under her armor. Balam is designed to act like a second skin. It is made using a material that allows whatever it is covering to be almost completely invisible within 4 seconds the moment the material's atoms are excited through direct electrical shock (800 volts or higher). The suit's invisibility field can last for a total of 30 minutes, and it only mostly affects organic materials.

Skills:
Because of the nature of her jobs, Matija learned that constantly moving made her a difficult target to catch. This mindset made her learn and hone her ability to parkour almost anywhere. Her heightened bodily sensitivity and intelligence helped her balance her strength, flexibility, and agility into impressive proportions. Her unique physiology allows her to eat and digest almost anything with (usually) little to no negative effects (her stomach acid is very corrosive), an ability to adapt to sudden temperature and pressure changes easier (in comparison to standard human limits), and stay underwater up to an hour and a half (and around 15 minutes when swimming). She is also believed to have very sensitive auditory capabilities, can pole-dance, knows first aid, and has very good accuracy (due to acute spatial senses) for both maneuvering and sniping.

On the Humanoid-Amphibious Aliens:

Mecorians:

Her ‘alien’ genes are from an isolationist humanoid-amphibian alien race from an ocean planet (dubbed as “Mecor”) in the uncharted galaxies of the universe. Heading towards the planet can be dangerous (or even fatal) because of it remoteness and the electrical storms that are constantly raging at the outskirts of the Beul (Be-yool) 4428 galaxy. There are only two successfully recorded trips towards the planet, and no known successful contact that did not result to the death of the scientists that attempted the said contacts.

The planet itself is composed of approximately 90% water, with white sandy beaches, hard soil, and hot tropical weather. Some of the planet’s ‘trees’ appear to be made out of coral (especially those by, and near the bay) and those with soil have thick forests that are too hard and too thick to trek. Scientists initially believed that their civilization is on the edge, or just past its ancient era. The speculation was derived through remote areal drone feeds that showed shanty-like dwellings near the bay areas and that the Mecorians are likely seen wearing loose tunic-like fabrics as clothing. This speculation had just recently been refuted when the scientists saw that the aliens used steel and seemingly ballistic weaponry similar in function to the earth’s post-colonial or industrial era weaponry. Scientists believe that the dwellings near bays may be ‘temporary homes’ for the Mecorians, and that their actual homes (or even cities) might be located somewhere in the think forests, or even underwater.

At present, the race refuses outside contact and is hostile with outsiders so very little is known about them. Based on what is known about them, it is that they are amphibious humanoid creatures with skin colors ranging from light brown to black, white hair, pupil-less eyes, webbed hands and feet, webbed dorsal spines, and sharp nails and teeth for tearing food. Note that scientists are only able to observe the physical features of the planet’s inhabitants and culture through drones equipped with powerful cameras hovering approximately 200 feet from the ground.

Some scientists have hypothesized that this alien race might be related to humans because of the structural similarities of the two races. There is currently no data to back-up this claim.

A man with short black hair and a rather skinny build akin to that of a swimmer's body which is called otter mode. Dmitri is 6'3 in height and approximately 80.7 kg (178 lbs). He used to have longer hair but an altercation with a plan gone wrong had forced him to cut his hair shorter and also change his dressing style. He usually seen wears black cargo pants, and white long sleeves worn underneath a blue hoodie shirt as he seems to feel almost always cold despite not being cold himself. Otherwise, he opt for sleeveless hoodies for functionality and aesthetics.

He has an intricate celtic-like tattoo behind his left ear that spreads down to his shoulder, chest, and back which he had started getting at a younger age to hide scars that he had accumulated throughout the years. Dmitri also sports his personal "jewelry store on his head" because of his multiple piercings on his ears, left eyebrow, and his lower lip. However, Dmitri's face is usually described as "nice" or "kind" because of his soft features and usually gentle demeanor granted that he is not sporting his smug grin and predatory eyes.

Personality

Dmitri is a selfish person. If given the choice of losing some time and saving a person, he would rather save some time unless the other person is important to his own survival. He learned that humans only think for themselves therefore he should as well in order to survive. This is brought up from his past and because he had learned that everything is replaceable, and this includes items and people. This is applicable unless a person is odd or valuable enough to be indespensible. This ends up with him turning into a people pleaser at times to the point of hurting himself at times, but he tries to strike a balance between getting what he wants and dying for others. But he tends to feel conflicted between pleasing people and saving his own so he ends up switching randomly between the two general mindsets.

In terms of violence, Dmitri prefers to watch fights (sometimes even instigate it). If you were looking for the devil's advocate, you've found it personified within Dmitri. However he prefers staying physically out of it because he knows that he is not physically strong enough to overpower larger and stronger people, but he knows that he is capable enough to get people to kill for him in return for something, be it some kind of possession, money, another person, or information. But if the need arises, he knows that he could take care of himself as long as he is faster than the other guy, and if he keeps moving.

Dmitri also has a tendency to prod people for information and he finds it fun to gather information from people in different ways. His last method of information extraction can be torture, however. He would rather steer away from this because he knows that he enjoys this far too much that he tends to get carried away. His penchance for morbidity shows in his passing words.

Occupation: Wandering bard and part-time information broker. He tries to be a jack of all trades as a means to support himself in any means possible. (Casteless)

Equipment:

• Shade : a black acoustic guitar with grey gradient paint from the lower portion of the body till half-way towards the air hole of the guitar. At one of the sides of the guitar's body has the word "Shade" burned into the guitar (but the etching is usually facing Dmitri when he plays because of his left-handedness).
  
  Shade is a mineral weapon. Or mineral "tool" to be precise. When played by a player that it deems skilled enough, Shade can turn songs and emotions into "reality" for the player's audience/s. However, contary to its name, it does not allow itself to create personal nightmares to its listeners as it prefers to read people and show stories, not nightmares. But these realities are more of illusions, illusions that can materialize and be interacted with depending on how much the audience believes it to be. It can function as a distraction if the user is in danger, but it refuses to function as a torturing tool.
• The wires : these are two industrial-grade wires a little less than 3mm thick and 2.5 meters long capable of carrying up to one ton's worth of weight. It has small notches with grooves towards the end that can be used as weights if it was meant to be a whip, or for different attachments (like a grappling hook or a various bladed attachments that makes it function like a whip or a morning star). This is both a weapon and an item usually worn around Dmitri's waist like an additional belt of sorts.
• Bonnie and Clyde (plus the kids) : Two daggers (black and silver) and some throwing knives. The daggers can be attached to the wires. The daggers are on his belt and the "little ones" are hidden throughout his outfit.
• L'il kitty : a small leather case for a dissection kit . It also has a sewing kit at the back.
• The bags : his two bags. These consists of a black heavy-duty hardcase for his guitar and items used for its maintenance, and his mailbag where he carries most of his amenities and personal items.

Abilities:

• Silver tongued McGuyver(occupational) : he had learned to lie and sweet-talk so well that he is almost a psychological liar. He would try to sweet-talk, lie, or bribe his way out of everything for the sake of self preservation. In tandem he learned to make do of what he finds or has to get himself out of everything that he gets into.
• Jack-of-all-trades (occupational): moving all the time required him to learn all that he can to help him survive in the wastes and in cities. Be it from massaging, to chopping choice cuts of meat, to other abilities. But as wide as his skillset may be, he remains true to the old saying: "jack-of-all-trades, master of none."
• Fast hands (Racial and occupational): Dmitri's father was gifted with fast reflexes which was an ability that Dmitri had inherited and honed as he lived in the shanty town in the outskirts of the southern city where the casteless lived in poverty. Throughout his life, he had lived off of stolen goods which he had to take home or sell for sustenance for himself and his alcoholic father.
• Psychich b*st*rd (racial and occupational) : presumably inherited from his mother and honed throughout his life, he has learned to read people but their movements are being reacted by him almost instinctively.
• Hardy (racial and occupational) : living dangerously served him well. It had made him somewhat harder to kill because of his experiences.
• Green with envy (racial) : he is an envious person at heart and the drive to be anything less than exceptional makes him strive into making himself a better person than the other guy. This can bring him down if he could not see any improvements on himself and he would end into a self-destructive fit.
• Brainy (racial): he is a fast learner and has the capability to store and retrieve long-term memories easier than most people. His photographic memory and his ability to logically place two and two together helps him read between the lines as well as learn to exploit cued weaknesses of his targets. This is presumed to have come from his mother's side.

@ScreenAcne might need to change a few things in his appearance then. gotta have him with shorter hair and maybe some contact lenses if that's available for this world. or maybe some glasses? and a few changes just so he would be slightly less identifiable. guess that means that he would be avoiding the west after the whole altercation with Mask and Nightshade. he may still have some friends there since he was just there to sell your guy, not really keep him there. a mercenary group probably lost some credibility after that, however.

@Basarin i believe that screen meant that since we live in a large world with a lot of political bs and the like, maybe we should try to play around with it and not totally exclude it? regardless, we would all be affected by it and we cannot say that despite being unaligned, we would all get grazed in between the spats that those with political power would get into or create.

@ScreenAcne multiple bounties... that would be great! seeing as your guy is a lil too goody-goody, he might as well be hated by a few other friends. my guy would even help him get when he wanted if that meant being able to sell it off (if it was something of value). otherwise, an auction would be in place. see who hates your guy the most enough to buy his beaten body off the gallows to beat him for themselves. i'm going to assume this happened during a financial low for my guy so he probably maybe sold the Mask off. >w>
