Shiranui nodded and boarded the boat.
Shiranui soon reached the port and beheld their ride.
"I think teleport," answered Shiranui, "We'll get there quicker."
Shiranui healed his Pokémon and was also ready. "So how shall we get there?" he inquired.
"I agree," replied Shiranui, curious about what kind of Pokémon he would find.
"Now that we have our Marsh Badges, our next stop is Cinnabar Island," stated Shiranui.

"That would be me," answered Shiranui and after they proceeded to the arena, the battle was on.
"Alakazam, you're up!"
"Sapphire, I choose you!" Sabrina called out her Alakazam and Shiranui sent his Sableye out. Having experienced how Jean and Sherlock battled, Shiranui was confident about beating hers.
"Alakazam, Miracle Eye!"
"Sapphire, Confuse Ray!" Sapphire's ability allowed her to let off a bright flash that left Alakazam confused. Alakazam managed to place a mental tag on Sapphire that bypassed her immunity to Psychic-type moves.
"Alakazam, Psybeam!"
"Sapphire, Shadow Sneak!" The Sableye phased into the ground and popped out of Alakazam's shadow before punching the mentalist. Alakazam blasted Sapphire with a point-blank Psybeam.
"Alakazam, Psychic!"
"Sapphire, Sucker Punch!" The Sableye zipped behind Alakazam and punched it in the back of its head. The hit was critical and Alakazam was knocked out.
"Congratulations, Shiranui," said Sabrina, "I hereby award you the Marsh Badge for your victory."
"Alakazam, you're up!"
