"Hello," Shiranui greeted, "I'm Shiranui Tsukiko. My father told me you guys have something for me."
"Ah yes, we do," replied the Day Care Man. Shiranui was surprised at the Kalos Day Care Couple being young Pokémon Breeders. The Day Care Lady presented Shiranui a lavender and mauve egg with a card attached to it.
"Thank you," said Shiranui, receiving the egg and looking at the card, which read '私は息子さん、あなたの誇りに思っています。'.
"Thank you, father," he said to himself, knowing exactly what the card said.

The Day Care Centre was soon in sight.

"Well, according to my map…" Shiranui did the anime sweat drop. "…we walked right past it. Care to follow Ryan?"

"Ryan, you're going the wrong way," stated Shiranui.

Pokemon: Kalos

"Not so fast, Liam," Shiranui interrupted, "According to my map, this is the Battle Chateau."

Shiranui also spotted the building and was about to comment on it when he felt something attach to his back. "What the…" he started and was only clued in to what it was when he saw a red and purple ribbon waving about. "I wondered when I would find one of you," he stated, carefully removing a shiny Honedge from his back. Shiranui scanned the Honedge with his Pokédex.
"Honedge, the Sword Pokémon. Apparently this Pokémon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force."
The Honedge unsheathed itself and Shiranui sent Higitsune out to battle the red sword. "Start with Ember!" The Fennekin breathed out a salvo of embers at Honedge and Shiranui noticed it did a lot of damage. Honedge struck Higitsune with a Pursuit. Seizing the opportunity, Shiranui lobbed a Great Ball at the shiny Honedge and after Honedge was drawn in, he watched the ball shake with bated breath. The ball pinged and Shiranui added it to his party, naming the shiny Honedge Yoto.

"Patience is the key to catching a Snorlax," Shiranui advised.

"You or Ryan can have this one," stated Shiranui, "I already got one."

Shiranui wore a look of shock on his face after seeing Ryan's outburst. "And I thought Saisei had vicious tendencies," he thought to himself.

Shiranui wore a sceptical expression as he received his Poké Balls from the Wigglytuff. "He's hiding something from us and logic would denote it has something to do with whoever lives in that house," he mused.
