"Night Daze!" Zoro was struck with the watery throwing stars, causing his illusion to break. Shiranui lost some points. The Zoroark conjured a dome of dark energy that grew in diameter, pushing the haze away.

"Detect into Psych Up!" Zoro saw a shadow coming and just as Jiraiya popped out to strike, the Zoroark caught the attack. In doing so, Zoro copied Jiraiya's stat boosts and returned his Accuracy stat to normal, meaning the Zoroark was just as evasive as Jiraiya.

Sounds good. By the time we're done with this part as well as the next, Generation VII will be released and we can add Alola to the list.

The Aerial Ace had struck Zoro, costing Shiranui more points. The counter shield was dispelled in the process. "Zoro, use Feint Attack!" The Zoroark shifted into a Greninja guise, matching Jiraiya in looks before picking up the doll and disappearing from sight, striking the copies with the doll one by one. Zoro nailed Jiraiya in the back with his own Substitute.

"Zoro, behind you! Use Fling!" Zoro dropped his illusion, grabbed the substitute doll and threw it at Jiraiya.

"Flamethrower counter shield!" Zoro shifted into a Ninetales guise and breathed out a Flamethrower straight up until it formed a spinning cage of fire. The disguised Zoroark braced for impact.

"Extrasensory!" Zoro shifted to an Espeon guise and used the psychic move to stop Jiraiya in his tracks.

"Feint Attack!" The Zoroark shifted into a Meowth guise before slouching and swaying side to side. Zoro disappeared and with lots of slashing, made the Greninja copies vanish. He reappeared behind the real Jiraiya and punched the Greninja square in the back.

Shiranui took his place opposite of Liam.

Zoro outperformed a Wigglytuff in the quarter finals and a Golett in the semis.
