Shiranui watched Jangmo-o with curiosity. He realised he'd have to face it in battle someday.

Shiranui scanned the two new Pokémon. "Comfey, the Posy Picker Pokémon. It attaches flowers to its highly nutritious vine. This revitalizes the flowers, and they give off an aromatic scent."
"Jangmo-o, the Scaly Pokémon. It expresses its feelings by smacking its scales. Metallic sounds echo through the tall mountains where Jangmo-o lives."
"Looks like you just gained a new friend, Liam," stated Shiranui.

Shiranui got his Pokémon back and followed Mr. Coleman out, his curiosity renewed.

Shiranui was curious about the ornament so he pulled out his Pokédex and scanned it. "Tapu Koko, the Land Spirit Pokémon. It confuses its enemies by flying too quickly for the eye to follow. It has a hair-trigger temper but forgets what made it angry an instant later."
"Alola must truly be fascinating if Pokémon such as Primarina and Tapu Koko are from there," commented Shiranui.

"Alola to you, Mr. Coleman," replied Shiranui, assuming Mr. Coleman's greeting was an Alolan custom, "How was your trip?"

Shiranui went with Liam to get Higitsune and Titania healed up. "Our next stop, I believe, is the Battle Dome up near Lavender Town," he stated.

Titania breathed a sigh of relief as she was recalled to her ball. "Another tenth of a second and you would have had me," commented Shiranui after receiving his ribbon.

"Magical Leaf Salvo!" Titania conjured lots of iridescent leaves and sent them flying at the Greninja copies, each leaf sure to hit.
