Titania released her mental blocks after Jenny put handcuffs on the Rockets. "Jiraiya, Titania, thanks for your help," said Shiranui.

"Titania, restrain them!" ordered Shiranui.
"With pleasure!" Titania acknowledged as she used her psychic powers to place mental blocks on their motor functions, rendering the duo paralysed while the Water Shuriken zeroed in on the stricken duo.
"You two have just won a one-way trip to the Lavender Town cop shop!" Shiranui quipped, pulling out his smartphone and placing a call to the local Officer Jenny.

"Unless you have more to throw my way, victory is mine," stated Shiranui to the Rocket duo.

"Thanks for that, Jiraiya," said Shiranui, "Yoto, take Gengar out with Shadow Claw!" Ghostly blades sprouted from Yoto's blade, making the Aegislash look like a seven-branched sword. Yoto shot out towards Gengar while Niwatori stood by.

"You're on par with Jessie and James in terms of planning skills," rebutted Shiranui, calling Niwatori and Yoto out, "Yoto, take Weavile out with Sacred Sword; Niwatori, use Blast Burn on Ariados! Mega Ring activate!" Shiranui activated his Mega Ring and Niwatori soon became a Mega Blaziken. Weavile gave Yoto a Night Slash and despite scoring a super effective hit, the damage was minor. Niwatori charged at Ariados and struck the spider with a fiery explosion. Yoto changed to his Blade Forme and struck Weavile with a sword fighting technique known only to its evolution line and a quartet of legendary Pokémon native to Unova; exploiting a double weakness.

Shiranui, being a ninja of the chunin rank, spotted the capture cubes and was soon on the field hidden in an invisibility illusion conjured by Zoro. He drew Yoto out and after shifting into Blade Forme, the Aegislash shot out and with a Sacred Sword, cleaved the capture cube into two inert halves before it could capture Ice Fox. Yoto then used Shadow Sneak and soon set Grimm free. Shiranui silently called Titania out after Yoto sheathed himself and the Gardevoir created mind links with Liam and Sashia. "Keep battling," she said, "My master will handle the people that tried to get their sticky hands on these two."

Titania used Teleport to get Shiranui and his Pokémon out of the field and into where the capture cubes came from.

Sorry about my absence. I've been on vacation visiting my family for Christmas. Unlike most other people here, I celebrate Christmas during the summer so my time here is a little less than normal thanks to doing other fun stuff with my family.

Shiranui shook hands with Sashia. "That could be either in the Pokémon League or whenever one of us challenges the other to a battle," he replied as Yoto drew himself from Shiranui's back and bowed at Ice Fox.

Shiranui was only a little surprised at being defeated at the semis. "Sashia is definitely a worthy adversary in my book and Ice Fox could give Kitsune a run for her money in the beauty department," he mused after healing Yoto. Yoto took his spot on Shiranui's back and Shiranui pondered on the possibility of breeding Zoro with Ice Fox.
