Jen did not care if she have the disadvantage, “toxic.” Jen saysas Maui spews purple gas at the Steelix to poison it. Jen have a feeling that the Steelix will come after Maui intill she switch out Pokémon. “Maui when Steelix comes out you again use protect then use the move Counter.” Jen says as Maui gets ready to clash with the Steelix again.
"That Toxic won't work," Saisei stated to Jen, "My Will-O-Wisp will help your attrition strategy." Will-O-Wisps appeared compliments of the Mewtwo, surrounding Mega Steelix and intending to burn it.
Shiranui followed and stealthily leaped up into the trees, secretly calling Saisei out as he thought he could recognise the woman in the Ninetales mask. "That's the lady poacher from the Pikachu Valley alright," Saisei corroborated to the rest of the heroes.
"It doesn't seem logical that a poacher is fighting other poachers," Shiranui whispered to Saisei.
"I see the logic," the Mewtwo countered, this time on a separate line of telepathy, "When money is involved, a lot of humans use whatever means necessary to complete their mission to get it. However, from what I can read out of Veronica's mind, the path of evil she walks is a path she was coerced into by her father."
"Then we should help get her back onto the right path," Shiranui replied, committing Veronica's name into memory, "For now, we stand by and let our friends help her out." Saisei nodded in agreement before covertly placing Barriers around and over the clearing in case the poachers tried to make a quick getaway.

"Indeed it is," Shiranui agreed, having used those strategies himself.
"Salazzle showed up for my trial," Shiranui added, "She and her crony were using restricting moves along with the Toxic/Venoshock combo."
"According to my research, Kahuna Olivia conducts her Grand Trials at the Ruins of Hope—the sacred location of Tapu Lele," stated Shiranui, "Those who succeed in defeating her will gain a Rockium Z and the right to challenge the trials at Ula'ula Island."
"I don't see why not," answered Shiranui.
"Once we heal up at the nearest Pokémon Centre, our next stop is the Lush Jungle," Shiranui answered.
"…Wow…" Shiranui added, speechless at Chuck's stunt.
