Shiranui was curious about the local variant of Raichu and looked it up on his Pokédex. "Raichu: Alola Form, the Mouse Pokémon and an evolved form of Pikachu. It uses psychokinesis to control electricity. It hops aboard its own tail, using psychic power to lift the tail and move about while riding it."

"I have an idea," said Shiranui, "Open the Poké Ball with the help of an insulator and have whatever is in there zap Tsuchi. If my hunch is right, you have an overcharged Electric type here."
"It's rare, but not unheard of for a Poké Ball to malfunction," stated Shiranui, "Why it's doing so is eluding me."
Shiranui was worried about what suddenly happened to Jen. "What happened?" he asked.
"I still need to prepare my party," added Shiranui, "Okami and Tsuchi are not the best at handling Grass-type Pokémon."
"Morning," Shiranui greeted back.
Shiranui did similarly after checking over the tools of his trade.
Shiranui went to a separate room and meditated for a while before getting ready for sleep.
