Shiranui got his freshly-healed Pokémon back and made an adjustment to his team he needed in order to try and salvage any data from the broken phone Liam recovered.
"Along with the rest of us," added Shiranui.
"I can drink to that," Shiranui agreed, "Alola has certainly changed me in several ways; one being that it kept my shinobi skills sharp and as my father drilled into my head, 'Even when you achieve the jounin rank, you must keep your mind open to learning new things.'"
"You almost beat me back at Kanto," Shiranui reminded, "You're stronger than you think."
"Well, few people would have heard of this Galar region before the Pokémon League started tweeting about the place," replied Shiranui, "So far the only things they said about the place apart from what you mentioned were its proximity to the Kalos region and the starters available there."
That's the kind of name a character from the Ace Attorney series would have.
"Out of curiosity, what temple did he research?" Shiranui asked.
"That doesn't surprise me," replied Shiranui, "Even the law would declare someone legally dead if they were missing for a certain period of time. Besides, if you want to know if he really is dead you can ask certain Pokémon." He put his Pokémon in to heal.
"Normally, I would say yes, but we should get back to the Pokémon Centre before we succumb to hypothermia," Shiranui suggested, "Jen has the right idea."
