Make sure your team is fully stacked and you have enough healing and recovery items, Shiranui, I know you have a personal vendetta against Maribella but be very smart, she's not stupid enough to antagonise you for no reason, Veronica getting the full might of the police force to back us up once our infiltration begins"

"I know," replied Shiranui as he checked over his tools of the trade and jotted down the layout as described, "She may want me to rush in like a greenhorn genin, but I didn't get to where I am through being dim." He was ready to go.
"As long as you know what you're doing," replied Shiranui, making alterations to his party, "We have ideas on how to take it out, but the where is still unknown."
"Christa is half the height of the Bell Tower back home," Shiranui pointed out, "There are few places in a mountain base, if any, that could support their enormity."
"Bring a Fairy type," Shiranui suggested, "You'll be fighting an evil Dragon Master."
"I'm inclined to agree," replied Shiranui, "This should also include the omission of Ultra Beasts in our party planning."
Shiranui handed his team over for healing after Liam.
"In that case, we should return to the Pokémon Centre, heal our teams and go over how to wipe out those poachers," Shiranui suggested, "Some brainstorming should help pass the time."
"Wow," Shiranui commented after listening to Liam's episode with the Rockets. When he heard about the Kommonium Z not fitting Liam's Z-Ring, Shiranui showed Liam his Z-Power Ring with the Mimikium Z equipped. "I was afraid of that," he replied, "Tapu Koko gave you a standard Z-Ring and some crystals such as the Lycanium Z, the Mimikium Z and the Kommonium Z can only fit into a Z-Power Ring like mine. You'll have to go back to the professor and get a Z-Power Ring of your own."
Shiranui was next up and Hapu sent her Golurk out. He responded with Kirigami. The Kartana sliced Golurk into a one-hit KO with a Leaf Blade. Hapu switched Golurk for Flygon and Shiranui recalled Kirigami and sent out Bakeru. The Mimikyu jumped at Flygon and engaged it with a Play Rough. The dust settled revealing a heavily-damaged Flygon and Bakeru with his disguise busted and soiled by a Mud-Slap. As Flygon readied an Earthquake, Bakeru reached out a Shadow Claw and slashed Flygon a moment before it struck the ground to unleash its attack, knocking it out. Hapu switched Flygon for Gastrodon and Shiranui switched Bakeru for Kirigami while scanning Gastrodon on his Pokédex. "Gastrodon: East Sea Form, the Sea Slug Pokémon. A relative of Shellder and Cloyster, this ocean dweller sometimes comes onto land in search of food." Gastrodon suffered a similar fate to Golurk as one Leaf Blade was all it took to defeat it. Hapu switched Gastrodon for her headliner Mudsdale. Kartana started with Laser Focus, but time was against it as Hapu activated the Groundium Z on her Z-Ring and performed the dance. Charged with Z-Power, Mudsdale leaped into the air and used its nearly-one-tonne weight to drive the magnitudes lighter Kirigami underground, leaving the Kartana knocked out at the bottom of a fissure. Shiranui checked the move on his Pokédex. "Tectonic Rage, a Ground-type Z-Move. The user burrows deep into the ground and slams into the target with the full force of its Z-Power. The power varies, depending on the original move." Shiranui switched Kirigami out and sent in Ashika. He activated the Primarium Z on his Z-Power Ring and performed the dance, charging Ashika with Z-Power. Like Ariel before her, Ashika sang her Oceanic Operetta and inundated Mudsdale with a giant ball of water, leaving the draft horse knocked out.

Hapu awarded Shiranui the Groundium Z, showed him the dance for Tectonic Rage and healed both parties before getting ready for her next battle.
"I went first at least once back at the trials," stated Shiranui, "One of you can go first."
