"Liam just defended his title and I'm waiting for Ashika to be healed," answered Shiranui, "What about you?"

Shiranui pet Slushie in response and after Liam barely won the battle he commented to the Alolan Sandshrew, "Your trainer pulled through."

Shiranui was watching a stream of Liam's battle on his phone. When it cut to the test card he was incensed. "What the hey!?" he exclaimed.

Shiranui registered for the conference as well while he waited for Ashika to heal.

"Ready," answered Shiranui.

"Well, I'd say we meet at the local Pokémon Center." Liam suggested. He told Slushie to behave for Shiranui and that he'd be back for a couple of days.

"Alola," Shiranui bode with Slushie waving his trainer goodbye. He turned to the others and suggested they register for the conference.

"You can count on me," Shiranui answered with a smile.

It was now Shiranui's turn to battle Ryuki. "Zweilous, let's rock and roll with the Kanto Champion!" Ryuki sang, playing a riff on his guitar and sending his Zweilous out.
"Ashika, I choose you!" Shiranui countered, sending his Primarina out.
"Zweilous, give Primarina a rockin' Slam!"
"Ashika, Sing!" Keeping time with Ryuki's guitar playing, Ashika sang a dulcet lullaby and Zweilous fell asleep, unable to wake up to do its Slam.
"Zweilous, wake up and use Body Slam!"
"Ashika, use Twinkle Tackle!" Ashika channelled her Moonblast into a Twinkle Tackle after Shiranui performed the dance in rhythm to Ryuki's music. Pandemonium issued forth as Zweilous was inundated by Ashika's attack. The twin-headed dragon was knocked out and Ryuki let loose a loud strum to close the battle.
