Her Rotom phone came out her pocket and brought up a video of what looked like a hidden back room. A woman with Blonde hair who looked to closely resemble the Maribella they knew, walked into the room, but she seemed staggered, and parts of her blonde hair had faded, reviling Black hair and fumbled around before she touch what looked like a strange necklace made of many shells. She picked it up to stare at it before saying "This... I remember this". Suddenly she grab her head like a headache or a trance was wearing off, "No, stop it, I don't want to hurt her. I ... can't hurt my daughter". Suddenly a pair of red eyes open in the darkness as a pair of tentacles were breifly visable, a sudden static glitch happen and the next scene was off the woman covering her black hair with blonde dye. "Ready to comply, all glory to Nigal, the new ruler of the universe" the woman said before leaving the room before the same tentacles grabbed the necklace to destroy it which got a visable flinch from Serina. The video then ended with Serina saying "I don't think Nigal has the control he looks like he has, Grandpa also confirmed that Danvers is indeed a fake name, as is Maribella. Though he does believe someone stole the original files from the clsn"

"I'm starting to wonder if a Malamar owns those tentacles," speculated Shiranui, "People have recorded their mind control abilities being used for nefarious ends for quite a while now."

"It's even more chaotic than the other regions we've explored," Shiranui agreed, "How was your solo adventure?"

Shiranui had received TRs 62 and 70 from the Max Raid Battle, discovering they taught Dragon Pulse and Flash Cannon respectively. He saw Chuck wander off on his own and hoped he would be alright. "Overconfidence can leave you blind to the element of surprise," he remembered as he saw Gileta the experimental Salazzle tail Chuck and felt relieved.
"That Duraludon went down like it was normal size," Saisei remarked after reverting to their normal form and returning to Shiranui.
"I guess Dynamaxed Pokémon are just as susceptible to damage like any other Pokémon," Shiranui speculated, keen to study up on the Dynamax phenomenon.

"Fire away, Chuck," Shiranui added, curious to see the Dynamax process in action.

"Saisei, Mega Evolve and give it a Focus Blast!" Shiranui activated the Keystone on his Z-Power Ring and Saisei let off a bright purple glow, shrinking in size and becoming a Mega Mewtwo Y. Saisei focused his mind, brought his hands to one side and charged a ball of ki energy before firing it at Duraludon.

"Saisei, Aura Sphere!" Shiranui ordered. Saisei conjured an orb of aura energy and fired it at Duraludon.

"And I thought Christa was huge," Shiranui commented in awe, beholding the Gigantamaxed Duraludon. He strapped his Dynamax Band on his right wrist. "You can have this one, Liam," Shiranui accepted, "Saisei, I choose you!" He sent his Mewtwo out, thinking he would need a powerful Pokémon to defeat the titanic Duraludon.
