Personality: When Maruko was younger he went through many hardships and personal trials that would have broken anyone else's spirit. As he got older he has learned to control his emotions and his body has hardened both physically and emotionally. Maruko loves reading books and learning things and he is usually the calm stoic type. It takes a lot to force him to break into his old ways and as such when he does he is usually out for blood. Maruko loves teaching children and he is envious of their innocence to life. When he is around friends or children he will smile and be nice but he is usually the type who prefers actions over words. 

History: Maruko was born in Ominar a child of political parents that lived in the world of lies and deceit. His parents were overbearing but they loved their son and cared for him even as they had done their best to ready him to become like them and join politics. However that wasn't what Maruko wanted to do he wanted to teach instead he wanted to pass knowledge to others. One day though his parents finally opposed the wrong people and were targeted for assassination. When he went home early from school he soon saw his parents killed right in front of him the assassin with the bloody blade right in front of him. Maruko broke at that moment and his power was revealed for the first time, in their home they had a large aquarium that Maruko loved to stare at for hours just to watch the strange fish swim in it. He called on the water itself and barreled it towards the assassin quickly turning into ice spears in mid air and impaled the assassin several times. He forced the assassin to talk by "convincing" him he soon learned who it and when the assassin finally died from blood loss. Maruko then ran and grabbed whatever he could carry and ran out of the city so he could get stronger. 

After 20 years of training by himself to better control his powers at the age of 50 he went on the war path he went from the bottom up killing anyone who had anything to do with his parents death and he had no regrets about it at the time. He kept killing without end and soon he finally found the mastermind of the plot he tried to hide behind men and a safe room but Maruko killed them anyways. After it was finally done he had no idea what to do he didn't know where his path would lead now that his parents were avenged. It only took one year later for a child to find him and he started to try throwing things at Maruko in sad anger telling him that Maruko killed his father. He had no idea what he meant until he saw the family resemblance of the boy and he quickly realized that he did to the boy what the assassin did to him. The thought horrified him thinking of what he became he apologized to the boy and ran again. This time he went and trained himself in staying calm and to find a way to redeem himself.

At the Age of 70 he finally finished and became enlightened soon realizing that his revenge caused the blood of many and the suffering of their families. He apologized to each family before turning himself into the police. After his sentence of 10 years with good behavior he left and became a teacher like he wanted when he was a child. He then heard about what his kind were doing to the sub species and he felt disappointed that his kind would stoop so low, he knew the price of blood well and he joined the opposing side hoping that they could all reach a peaceful solution because Maruko wanted to avoid anymore suffering in this life...

*A staff weapon that allows him to keep enemies at a distance while the spikes at each end of the staff increases his offensive abilities when he strikes giving him the perfect balance of offense and defense.
