They always ask me, "What the fuck are you doing!?" but never, "How the fuck you doing?"
@Antarctic Termite Hey, I'm not sure who's in charge of the turn 0 summary page but Pelegath got confused for Larwen in two places, namely it was Larwen who corrupted the swamp and Larwen who discovered Pervanon.
Pelegath looked on with dismay as his brother left, denying his offer of peace. With a heavy... something resembling a heart, he tried to come to terms with the fact he would have to wage war on his brother. Not being the strongest fighter, he knew he would need help to counter the power of corruption when the time came and Seihdhara had made her intentions toward Larwen abundantly clear. Perhaps he could enlist the help of Promus as well? The thought of making plans to harm his sibling filled him with grief, but they would one day be necessary. Thankfully his brother had left for the moment, sparing him an imminent battle. For now, he would tend to his creation
Floating at the edge of the corrupted mangroves, he placed a hand on the trunk of a gnarled tree and it turned to wood pulp at his touch. The rot spread up and down the tree and spread to its roots, reducing it to little more than a pile of spongy mulch. The rot spread along the ground and to the trees beyond the first, spreading faster with each tree and blade of grass consumed by decay. As much as he hated destroying life before its time, he could not allow the infection of chaos to spread. He watched as the rot spread across the whole of the corrupted patch to be sure the job was done.
Once he was satisfied that the chaos was fully purged, he left his domain in search of Seihdhara. Between the two of them and anyone else they could enlist to help, perhaps together they could find a way to stop their brother... hopefully without killing him.
Pelegath rots the parts of the swamp corrupted by Larwen so the plants don't breed and spread more corruption.
Though he's not happy about it, he knows something will need to be done about about his brother eventually so he leaves the swamp in search of his sister, Seihdhara to ask for her help in devising a way to deal with Larwen's "perfection".
@Valorousdon't mind the bio major as he nerds out here for a second
Most grasses are angiosperms which means they do in fact flower so flowers have technically been invented but I know what @Frettzo meant and I just wanted to be a nerd :P
The god of decay turned suddenly at the crashing tsunami. He quietly thanked the one who brought them to this world, for who else would have the power to create the fortress that now protected the creations of his siblings? With that he turned back to his siblings and was soon struck dumb with disgust at Larwen’s newest creation
A being such as Pelegath, one so dedicated to the balance of life and death, looked on with horror upon the Vyer and with the corruption his brother wrought. This could not be allowed to go unchecked. As much as he wished to eradicate the horrid creatures entirely, they had just a much as a right to exist as his own creations and needed to be checked, not obliterated.
“I know you think your way is right, dear brother, but there must be balance in all things. Please do not be so rash in the future.” He extended what could be called a hand to Larwen in a sign of friendship with a warm smile implied on his faceless head. ”I do not wish to fight my siblings. Would it not be wise to make peace with one another?”
Pelegath gives Mater Lei a mental thumbs up and turns away for 3 seconds to find out Larwen was being Larwen and is not happy about it, but since Pelegath's a softie, and Larwen is his brother he wants to make nice.
@Cyclone Yeah, but I prefered Tales of Deltora which was about a blacksmith who had an awesome drug trip and decided to scour the world for magic rocks to defeat the big mean shadow man in the mountains.
