And the body begins to consume its own muscles after less than 2 weeks and repeated starvation can lead to permanent organ damage. Not to mention that by around the 3rd week the body begins to consume other, less vital organs in a desperate attempt to keep the brain alive. Again, not my call, but I just can't see several people looking at someone like this and thinking "Yep, that guy's fit to serve on an elite taskforce."

@Cyrania Yeah but most demons don't feast on human blood to live. Hellboy doesn't need to drink human spinal fluid or whatever to keep his heart ticking.
