@Lady Amalthea Part of why the DM can see the hidden posts is because they can hide/show the 0th post. At least, that is my assumption. If @Mahz decides to implement this, could he warn us ahead of time so we can unhide our 0th posts?

Hey all, JB here.
I'm a DM for a large number of games here on RPG, as well as a player in several others. Many of the games I run are overly complex, or they involve Dungeons and Dragons (which is also overly complex!).
I work 40+ hours a week, and am the proud father of two tiny terrors named Chibi and Chibette and married to my beautiful Wifey. As such, I am quite busy more often than not. I typically write 2-5 paragraphs per reply and try to maintain an excellent level of grammar. If you noticed me glancing at your profile, I probably was looking to see if you would be a good match for my RPing style. Even if I didn't send a PM to you, feel free to send one back!
I enjoy 1x1 RPs and small groups. I'm fond of medieval, steampunk, and futuristic settings, and I'll jump into romance, adventure, and slice of life RPs fairly quickly, although supernatural (vampires, werewolves, etc) RPs get old for me pretty quickly. Eldritch Blast Warlocks are pretty powerful, probably stronger than most archer classes. Definitely so if the GM hands out short rests frequently.
Remind me, do we roll for abilities or use point-buy?
I don't know anything about the dice mechanic of this site so for now I'm trusting player's to be honest. For those who don't know how one would normally determine ability scores, roll 4d6 and drop the lowest roll and add the remaining 3 together. I personally prefer this Dice Roller
My rolls were 12, 11, 12, 10, 15, and 14.
I'm creating a couple of characters that players will have a chance to add to their party in game either permenantly or temporarily. First one is going to be a fighter.
I tend to create atypical archetypes, so I don't think this PC would step on any toes, hopefully. In fact, I'm most concerned about stepping on the wizard's toes @JaceBeleren. If you'd like to coordinate, I can make changes if needed. My current CS is here. With Rogue, Wizard, Barbarian and Cleric, I feel like the party is missing some range DPS (unless Rogue is ranged or Wiz is full blaster), as well as Charisma (Rogue or Barb could fill this role though). I am building an Arcane Archer from UA: Revised Subclasses with the Close-Quarters Shooting feat from UA: Light, Dark, Underdark. I will likely be grabbing some feats from UA: Feats for Races or UA: Feats for Skills. The character is using the Spy variant of the Criminal background and is a high elf. Sadly, this PC does not fill the need for Charisma as I had to build up my INT (and got some pretty boring stat rolls). Please let me know if anything should change.
@The Mighty Hero I think I'll toss my hat in. I'm going to make a ranged Fighter. I like making heavy use of Unearthed Arcana, so I'll reference all the UA I use when I get a PC together.

For now, I suggest using the 0th post in ooc. If you have more than a post's worth of lore, toss in a few links to the posts you make. Might not be optimal, but it works.
We are accepting new members at this time! Even if you don't know Final Fantasy 13 (or even Final Fantasy in general), please take a look. The info below is very complicated, but @JBRam2002 will be more than happy to answer every question you have. Including the dumb ones. We are hoping to have 6 or 9 PCs to allow for more variety in the RP. Right now, we have 4, so every new character will help!
As the figure of Shemhazai disappeared, Julian looked on in shock. The last several minutes had gifted him with the disappearance of all of his Cocoon allies, a surprise attack that his intel should have seen coming, and not least of all, a l'Cie brand. Thankfully, while Julian stood paralyzed, Noir took the initiative, searching through the warehouse and returning with some useful gear. Julian took a deep breath to refocus himself and turned towards his new ally.
He took a few seconds to glance over the items that Noir carried. "This one should make you stronger, this one enhances your manadrives, and the last lets you take more of a beating. I wonder..." Julian took the Magician's Mark and focused on his new l'Cie powers. "Yes, this Mark also affects our new abilities as well. It seems that Nyxia and I are the ones who are most magically oriented. One of us should take this item. The Wristband should go to the strongest among us. I feel as if that would be Nadia. And I suggest that the Bangle go to the one who has the hardest time taking a hit... which I feel was Nyxia from the look of the last battle. And..." Julian looked at the items that Noir found, then back to his allies. "Looks like we're one short. Damn. I'll let you all decide the best way to hand these out then."

Always have wanted to try this style but know nothing about FF except for meme like things. I'll work on creating a character though.

So while we're waiting for (hopefully) a new player to join in, I've got another PC that I could introduce. Since I'm not sure if we'll get more players or not, I've decided to write up a CS for them. Should a new player join and we run out of roster slots, this will be the first player to get dropped (although we could also just as easily add another team). I am posting it here because I want the group to decide if they want her to join before putting her in the Chars section.
