Looks: Standing at about six foot one, Arturo wears his full Gallian Militia uniform along with his lancer armor. He has brown medium length hair and hazel eyes, he appears to be of a muscular build. He has a well-defined jawline and a few scars. His pants are bloused and his boots appeared to be shined to a mirror finish. He usually has a light trimmed beard, which covers his face ear to ear. Of course being equipped with such heavy lancer armor, the man appears to be a beast to some - as all lancers are.

Height: Six foot one - 210 pounds

Psyche:
Rather cold and to the point, Arturo usually distances himself from closer relationships with others. He isn't one to get attached or to form deep connections with others. Dedicated to his work as a lancer he lacks ample time to indulge in social escapades. Relying on himself he is often found reading or by himself. The odd one out, he's neither been liked or hated by most and he enjoys the neutral disposition.

When he is social he is rather well-spoken, educated. He speaks about intellectual and philosophical topics when he is interested in socializing. He is known to be quiet and rather reserved when he is off duty. Rather to the point and blunt, the man hides no deceit with him and is rather open and honest to others. That is, from a first glance at least.

The Story So Far:
Born in the bustling town of Vaughan, a few miles outside of the Gallian Captial. Arturo Delfrezy was born to a local noble family. The Delfrezy family had been through tough times the last war, they were originally ore miners in the outskirt town of the Tyrell. Most of the men old enough to join up to the war were sent, including Arturo's father - Jamieson. The men who did return to the family moved, maybe it had been the war that took it's toll on them or feeling to move on with their life but regardless the Delfrezy family moved closer to the border. It's there where they started a small mining company that operated a few mines on the country borders.

When the war broke out, the stoic young Arturo was working with his family managing the company. The mines they previously operated were taken over by the invaders. This crippled the family, and once again the men headed the call to battle. This time Arturo, along with other men and women in his neighborhood found themselves enlisting in the militia. The walk wasn't too long to Randgriz on a day or so on foot from Vaughan, Arturo found others like him enlisting in the city and after a brief time at the recruiting office the nobleman found himself in the militia.

Maybe it was his eagerness to get to the fight that caused Arturo to end up in the Militia than the Army, or the fact they couldn't process him to it with the need of fighters. Originally starting out as a scout in the militia he was quickly moved to being a Lancer - he fit the built and the extra weight seemed to be no problem to him. After passing the basic equipment training to become a Lancer, Arturo was reassigned to the Squad 11 of the militia. Green, as he could possibly be, the young man, was about to see the faces of war. Faces his family had not seen since the one previous, with the skys clouded grey with smoke it would be up to Arturo if he would ever see a blue sky again.

Tarot Card / A Quick Consensus

The woman on the Nine of Pentacles is taking a leisurely stroll through the gardens of her estate. She is clearly a lady of refinement and grace, so it is incongruous to see on her left hand a bird trained to hunt and kill on command. Falconry is an unusual hobby for a gentlewoman, but it is the key to the special nature of this card.

On one hand, the Nine of Pentacles represents all that is most gracious, high-minded and civilized. Art, music and other forms of beauty are very much part of our physical world. Coins are present in this scene, but they are toward the ground. The business of life is important, but we don't have to focus on practical matters all the time. We can also enjoy the finer things of life. In readings, the Nine of Pentacles can imply an interest in these areas. It is also a sign that you may need to reject the coarse or offensive and seek the highest.

The Nine of Pentacles can also be a sign of discipline and self-control. This woman enjoys her cultured life because she has mastered her baser instincts. Her impulses work for her because they do not rule her. The falcon symbolizes all that is dark and unruly in human nature. Our shadow side can serve us well, but only when it is directed. Sometimes the Nine of Pentacles suggests that you must show restraint and self-control if you are to achieve your best efforts. You may have to "sacrifice" for the moment, but the results will be worth it.

The stat bars are more so to gauge what he's like e.g. he has 'full strength' but i'd never use it as a point to say "ok my guy is strong i snap ur neck LOL". He's strong, that's the way he is built and it's more passive I guess - he carries a lance! It helps spell the character out.

You weren't kidding when you said it was a pretty CS. Though I don't really understand the final part too well, I think it helps paint the character well. Accepted.

Appearance
Of a medium, Copper is in a good physical condition. He has bright green eyes and dark brown hair. His skin is tanned from working outside. He bears a scar under his left eye from a childhood accident. His uniform always seems wrinkled but his buttons always shiny. He stays clean shaven to the best of his situation. His off-duty appearance is usually work jeans and a t-shirt.

Personality
Generally light-hearted and positive, on and off the battlefield. He respects his superiors but tends to forget the proper etiquette when addressing them. He gets along with people who do their fair share of work, but tends to want to do as much of it as he can. He pushes the limits of his orders but never purposely goes against them. He loves to meet people and tries to be inclusive if the situation is right. He likes to be helpful and seeks out the opportunity to light another's burden. On the battlefield, he will preference himself for a risky action if it'll protect or save a comrade.

Biography
Born to a single mother who served as a communications specialist for the Republic's Navy. Shortly after giving birth, the young woman was forced out of her job due to the complexities of having a child. She left the Republic and moved to Gallia where she could work and take care of her child. Unfortunately for her, she passed away due to illness only a year after the birth of her child. This left Copper with only a name. He was raised by an elderly couple who took his mother in when she first got to Gallia.

Outside of the normal schooling for Gallian children, Copper grew up unaware that he was from the Atlantic Republic nor would he really care. He was raised learning hard work was key to being successful and happy. His foster parents passed away giving him a farm and land to work. He would do this for many years until the fires of war started. Being so far from the border in Arlem, it took awhile for news of the war to reach his village. He was among the first to volunteer for the militia when they came calling. He sold his crop and went to boot camp.

His training went well, showing he had an aptitude for close combat and endurance. He was sent off to join Squad 9 under one Lt. Wattz. The Squad was met with misfortune at every turn. They suffered losses and the Squad was eventually dissolved, having Copper moved to Squad 11. His combat experience is limited and the few times he saw action, it was in the dark and without true direction. Copper helped bury 7 people nearly half his age. This strengthened his resolve to protect those he serves with.

Town of Fulson - On good terms with mayor and townsfolk.
Mellvere Trader's Guild - Member and Good Standings from conducting most of the main trading for Fulson.
