They're super healthy for you, unless they're the venomous kind, in which case, if you eat it and die, then they'd technically be considered poisonous. :O UNLESS THEY BITE THE INSIDE OF YOU AFTER YOU'VE EATEN IT. Then they'd be Venoisonous. Or Poisonom... something.Dunno what I'm talking about anymore.

I’ve heard of people dying from eating live octopus if that counts. No? … Oh, alright.

As in, the maximum amount of (type of) spirits that one character can possess at once is 8, or we can add/change a maximum of 8 spirits?

Holy crap! Another dimension!? Wow… not that I think Adorabadass will be back anytime soon (possibly never), but that seems like the hardest place to come back from!

@Ex: Hmm… I guess there isn’t much I can add to everyone else’s advice. The only thing I can add is probably to create a lot of detail about the character, details that you may not even be shown in the story (And I mean details, like habits or the character’s favourite toy as a child, details). It will help make an in depth character (you see what the character is/was beyond the limitations of the story) and you may be able to find what “similarities” you keep creating.

I think I’m in the same pickle as Ex. I have plans for a post (not including the collab post with Rockette) AFTER they evacuate the facility (after their talk, which is now possibly a fight, with Sam); when they change/upgrade their spirits/abilities (and even when they start discussing what happened/what to do next), but I have nothing for where the characters are right now.
