As Indi stared at Saph intently, waiting to hear her response, the bell rang, destroying any hope of getting a good lunch. A groan of annoyance left his mouth, and he got up to leave the lunch room. Saph took her leave, saying she'd see them after class, not bothering to answer his question. "I'll keep you to that." He said, obviously out of her hearing range. He wanted to confirm his win, even though he was about 90% sure he had already won. He was quite surprised she was even a leader, literally everyone else on the team seemed like a better choice. Maybe Ozpin was just stupid or something, who knows? Indi left the cafeteria alone. His team was gone, and he didn't feel like talking to others right now. He only had two girls on his mind; Cia, and Lana. Maybe a brother or sister, too. That reminded him, he had an idea for a dust sword. Well, whatever, he'd deal with it in class. He'd need to actually learn more than the basics first if he wanted to craft something more complex than the Hatchet-SMG combo he had on him. When he got to the classroom, he took a look around at the students who had gotten there. Ivan was there, Shiro, Geni, someone who's name started with a D, Danny, he thought. Saph was there too, sitting next to an incredibly attractive woman in immensely flattering clothing. His face got red for about the fifteenth time that day, and he gulped. He hadn't seen this girl before, he definitely would have remembered her face. And body, jeez, that body... He was not sitting next to Saph, he could confront her after class. Right now he needed an asshole to get him back in the mood to be better than others. He sat down next to Ivan. "Hey dude, what's up?" He asked, unclipping his weapons from his waistline and placing them on the desk to investigate where to improve.
Alright then, it's settled, team SIII is taking on the Patrol mission! Unless Tear doesn't want to, but I'm like 90% sure he's fine with it.
Missions are on Fridays, we aren't there yet.
Yeah, I know. I just wanna see if, when we get there, the team wants to do that mission. Wanna see if we should claim that mission before anyone else does.
In other news, Team SIII, would you guys like to do a mission? Because I'd like the team to do "Patrol" since that'd give the team time to interact and (hopefully) fight as a full team.
Oh yeah, that happened to Team SIII's doc as well. I assume me an' Prince won't have to tag team you... right?
Speaking of people who haven't checked in for a while, anyone got a hold of Tearstone?
Yeah, he's still here. I contacted him today, actually. Got him back up to speed, about, so hopefully he should be returning soon.
Wait, I just realized, what's the point of a dedicated "Armory" class if we can only upgrade our weapons if we win the bonus challenges? What will our characters be doing all period? And what about people who don't take Armory class? What will the excuse be when their weapons are upgraded? All I can think of is "They're a real tinkerer and found the time and resources necessary to do this solo." But that seems like a stretch for most characters.
At the end of the day, Armoury is still a class with a dedicated teacher and unfortunately, not every student that signed up for Armoury can make tanks which means that things will have to be taught assuming that the students only have a basic knowledge on engineering and designing. I do know what you mean though so maybe if we have some form of afterschool class where you can spend points to upgrade weapons?
Oh, yeah, that makes more sense. Sorry, I just get confused sometimes. As for the second part, I guess upgrades could be given better explanations, like, as you said, an afterschool class or an NPC friend helped or something. I'll be sticking with my vote then.

Indi giggled slightly as Gren infused his reply with some puns, partly out of respect, partly because he said 'fingered' and Indi had the humor of a small child on a crappy message board. More importantly though, Gren's willingness to make jokes about his destroyed hand showed that it probably wasn't going to be held against him. Gren then did something both incredibly stupid, and incredibly awesome at the same time. He used his weapon as another grill. Indi could barely contain his laughter as Gren laid more cube steak onto the smoking hot barrel. "That's one way to use a deadly weapon." Indi snickered. Then, a lot more people joined them. Oswald, Sappy, Marcus, and Shiro. Shrio looked deeply saddened, probably because of the massive idiocy of the way he tried to get people over to the Team SASG table. His face was... surprisingly adorable. He just wanted to pet him, before strangling him for wasting his lunch. He then looked at Sappy. By the looks of it, she was done arguing with his teammate. Good, that fight was stupid anyways. Finally, Oswald and Marcus. He didn't really know a whole lot about them, honestly. The only reason the names even matched faces was because of the sparring matches in first period. Everyone made themselves known, and Oswald asked meat medium rare. "I'll take mine medium rare, like the military man over here." Indi said, pointing to Oswald. That was the vibe he got from him anyways, whether he was actually from the military or not, Indi couldn't really care much less. He was here for meat, and Gren. "By the way, Saph, why'd you just start fighting with my team over there? Seems very unleader-like. Is it cool if I call you Saph, by the way?" He asked, staring at her with a grin underneath his mask. He wanted to get back at her for disrespecting his team. He didn't care much for Ivan, but Ineko was harmless. Besides, he was part of that team, defending it was also defending himself, in part.
Perhaps equipment upgrades from contests, and natural ability (including semblance and aura) boosts from missions?
I'm down with this system. I assume that's what I'm putting myself down for when I vote "In Favor", right? EDIT: Also, I'll get a post up tomorrow. Sorry for being a procrastinator, guys!
