@A Tattooed Girl Do you mean football as in like American Football or football as in soccer
@KaijuBaragon Want any relation to Dylan?

I guess they could have met through the sporting community in the school. I could see them definitely getting along, so there could be a prior friendship there.
I really need to work on my relationship sheets
Bruno

Bruno was happy that Toby now seemed to be in a conversation with someone. Assuming that the short boy really was very quiet and introverted, it was probably a good thing to talk to people to get a lot more confidence. There were people who would probably disagree strongly with Bruno (example - Dominik) but he didn't really care about that. In Bruno's opinion, those people were wrong. Talking is a lovely thing to do and people should probably do it more, as moping about a problem doesn't get it done, Bruno believed.

Suddenly, the Croatian boy's train of thought was derailed when he heard someone try and speak to him. He turned to see Fiorella, the Puerto Rican girl he had noticed earlier, saying excuse me to him. She spoke in a sing-song voice with a slight hint of a latin accent. Bruno had to admit, it was pretty cute. She was asking for a small explanation of the american schooling system? Could Bruno explain it well enough? He didn't really know too much about it as he missed a large portion of it, and only knew about the schooling system he was enrolled in through reading about it online. He would try and explain it as best he could however. He responded in his own accent to her question.

"Oh, don't worry, I know how confusing starting at an American school for the first time can be. Basically, the American school system is split up into 3 parts, which is a lot different to where I come from, Croatia, where there are only 2 parts. It goes elementary school, then middle school, then high school. We're in high school, more specifically Grade 10 in high school. High school goes up to grade 12 and then it's optional education. I think so, anyway."

Dominik

The decent tunes of Young the Giant flooded out from Dominik's earbuds as he sat drawing. He could see his brother talking to a girl and some other people. He was just ticking down the time until this horrific social time ended and they could just go off to class and just get on with the day. At least when you're sitting in Geography or History or Maths you don't have any people trying to contact you when you clearly do not want anyone to. Headphones indicated that you don't want to talk, why some people couldn't just get that was beyond Dominik. I mean, what more do you need to realise someone didn't want to talk.

And there was one of those people who just didn't get it. Dominik saw the shadow of a person crouch down in front of his desk. He was about to tell the person to go away and maybe give them a piece of his mind, but as he looked up into the pretty eyes of Davina all thoughts of anger left him. He almost let out a tiny scream, it shocked him so much. She was asking if Dominik was doing anything after school. Oh my God, is she asking me out? Dominik's mind raced with fear and ideas. After she finished speaking, Dominik spoke with voice that sounded a little bit fearful.

"Oh, hi Davina! I'm not really doi- I mean, I don't really have anything planned for tonight, actually. Football isn't really my favourite thing to watch."

@A Tattooed Girl
@Dirty Pretty Lies Oops, yeah that would be totally fine
Bruno

After listening to what everyone around him was sayjng, Bruno now had to address them all. Being popular had it's perks, but it did get a little annoying when loads and loads of people tried to talk to you at once. He had a pang of understanding for his twin and his ingoing and introverted ways. He addressed Toby first.

"Yeah, it's come around fast, hasn't it? I'm not doing a lot over the weekend actually. It's going to be pretty uneventful, which I guess is pretty nice."

Bruno then was about to try to have a little conversation with Riley, but he seemed to already be in the middle of one with his group. Bruno didn't really want to get involved in all of the shenanigans that they would probably pull off, so he chose to just let it be. Then it was the final person, Fiorella. Bruno said thanks to her remark and blushed a little. Nobody had really called him a 10/10 before, but he kept his composure as she Fiorella plugged in some earphones and began watching something on YouTube.

Bruno

Anxiously standing at the back of the room with the other students, Bruno looked around the classroom as he wondered who he was going to be put next to in the seating plan. It was always a bit of a lottery who you got. You could get someone really talkative and friendly, which Bruno hoped for. On the other hand you could get someone grouchy and introverted, or you could get a complete hothead or an asshole. Again, it was a huge lottery. Bruno glanced over at his twin. No doubt that Dominik was much more nervous than he was. Bruno felt a bit of sympathy for his brother and his closed in ways.

But then suddenly, the first seat was announced. It was Quinten, and he was sure to make a snide little remark before taking his seat. Although he didn't really mind him too much, Bruno did hope he wasn't seated next to the other boy. Then his name was said. Well, only his surname. Bruno quickly pointed out that there were two, and the teacher specified that it was indeed him. He took his seat behind Fiorella. He knew she was born in Puerto Rico, which kind of made her an immigrant too, but technically not. But she was funny and outgoing, so Bruno could see himself getting on with her. Riley Revels was placed next to him. He was okay, but he hang out with a group Bruno couldn't really ever see himself getting too friendly with. Too much of a "we cause trouble" attitude, in Bruno's opinion. When everyone had taken their seats, it was time for a do whatever you want session. Bruno turned to Toby, who had been placed a little bit behind him, and greeted him, before deciding to bite the bullet and said hello to Riley too.

Dominik

The quiet boy stood at the back of the class, feeling utterly wretched and terrified about the seating that was to come. The only thing that Dominik could live with in the seating plan was being surrounded by fellow introverts, or at least people that respected his wish to be left alone. But better than both of these would be sitting right near Davina. He couldn't stop thinking about her or how she had talked to him on the field on the first day. They had played a few games together and Dominik had loved every minute of it. He had really felt sad about going home that day. A first.

Then came the first seat. Quinten. Far too brash and loud for Dominik's liking. His own surname was called out next, but before he could quietly ask the teacher to specify, Bruno did it, and the teacher revealed it was indeed Bruno. Then a whole Plethora of other classmates were called out, including a boy who looked very out of place. Dominik could only imagine that he too was very introverted. Then, his own name was called out. He was sat next to Connor Mcquarrie. He let out a silent sigh. He was extremely loud and obnoxious. It wouldn't take the boy long to find a silly nickname for Dominik. When the teacher announced you could do what you wanted for half an hour, he plugged in his earphones and began to draw, a little aimlessly. He was quite annoyed that Davina was so far away. He hoped they would be toge-, sorry, sit together in another class.
@SmileyJaws If Andreas plays soccer, he will definitely know Bruno, and going based on the fact that they're both European immigrants, they could find some common ground to be friends.
Bruno

When Toby tried to get out of going to have a burger, Bruno felt quite sorry for the boy. He obviously had some really bad social problems, and based on his shoes, he probably had some problems at home too. Or at the very least, he was very poor. And the fact that he looked like he was around 10 or 11 really didn't help. He must have felt like a complete stranger around everyone else his age, and Bruno couldn't really imagine what on earth that was like. Although Bruno had his insecurities, at least he actually fit in with others of his age. Bruno wasn't sure if Toby got bullied, but knowing kids his age, it was probably very likely.

Bruno felt a little better as Landon convinced Toby to join them, and the four of them began their walk over to the burger stand. Bruno still hadn't decided if he wanted a cheeseburger or a hamburger, but he would decide when they got there. When they eventually did, he decided on a classic hamburger, and began to chomp down on it. The burger was surprisingly good for one cooked in a high school on a field by a bunch of random people. Americans sure could do fast food better than Croatians, that was one thing he had to give them. Marco, the redhead, asked him if he had a twin. Bruno nodded his head and said:

"Yeah I do, but we don't really hang out together that much, he's pretty different to me in terms of personality. He's somewhere somewhere over there but I'm not entirely sure."

Bruno pointed generally over to his left as he spoke, but he couldn't actually see Dominik anymore. Then he heard Toby's response to Marco's question he had posed generally. It wasn't a happy answer, and Bruno shot him a sympathetic look, realising that there was a lot going on in the short boy's life.
