Allows the re-ignition of a Soul Lantern at the expense of another, or alternatively, lights a path from the severed soul to their lantern, aiding them in their resurrection.
Requirements: 1 pouch / 1/2 pouch, applied to the corpse in question as well as the living sacrifice, taking 1 hour to prepare. Requires the surface area of the target corpse to be at least 20% intact.
A ritual to repair broken equipment, items, and other gear. Can also create entirely new gear, as per a schematic or blueprint. Requires "feeding" of ability magic energy to function.
Requirements: 1/2 pouch, applied to level, static surface, takes 30 minutes to prepare. Requires 4 square metres.
Area of effect raises ten-feet tall walls of blue flame in a design designated by the ritualmaster. Only effective barrier is the flames themselves, and they do not require the traditional necessities for flame, fuel, oxygen etc. Can be used underwater, in high-oxygen environments. The flames cannot start new fires, though they will burn like regular flames if they come into contact with something directly.
Requirements: 1/4 pouch, applied to any surface (must match the surface of the target area), takes 10 to 20 minutes to prepare. Requires half of a square metre.
A ritual which summons a being that reaps the target designated by the ritual. A summoning spell, woe be to those who err when attempting the cast this ritual. The smallest of mistakes can spell utter disaster.
Requirements: 1/100 to 1 pouch, applied to any surface, takes 15 minutes to prepare. Requires 1 square metre.
A ritual that employs and activates all the rest of Broggan's rituals simultaneously. Devilishly difficult to prepare, requiring days to properly organize, it is nevertheless, a potential game-changer when used properly.
Requirements: 6 pouches, applied to ritualmaster, takes at least 72 hours to prepare assuming presence of all necessary components. Requires 90% of the ritualmaster's body.
So does anybody have a semblance of interest in finding out about Jordan's time in Basic Military training for an Earth Elementalist, which essentially boils down to the entire compound throwing everything they've got at him, and him going all out because this is pre-corruption?
Because I kind of really want to just write badass tings. Y'know. Cause badass.
Jideh raised an eyebrow at her response. She seemed to just be going along with whatever he said, which might get annoying if she took it too far. He took in a deep breath, seeing the radiant disc touch the horizon, setting the sky on fire. His stomach grumbled.
"Do want to grab a bite to eat? Call it a date? You seem intent on interviewing me, and I'm not going to be so rude as to deny you that opportunity. This reader of anything interesting, regardless of genre, whose sister constantly teases him, and is apparently referred to by the ladies as 'The Flora Guy' has a hankering for some delicious food. I've been down to the village a couple times, and they have some cheap restaurants that are worth a try."
Jideh got up and shut the window, nursed a little more energy into the lily, as encouragement, and threw his jacket on. At the very least, this girl might be worth his company, and inside, he was blown away by his audacity. But some sort of cool composure, brought on by that naked beauty of the sunset, just stuck with him. Maybe it was the boldness that came with knowings things ended. Jideh had no clue. As he pocketed his keys to the dorm, shuffled his shoes on, and cracked his knuckles, Jideh turned to Amelia and tried on a smile. It came easily. He found himself holding in a bubbling sort of laughter. He'd enjoy himself this evening, and he hoped Emily would too. Wait.. Was it Emily or...?

Does or doesn't it say signups open along the top? XD
Glad to have you. Send in an app. If I may be so bold, I suggest fire or blood as elements, and we could for sure use more faculty members, if that interests you. But we'll take a look at whatever you send in.
Jideh winced as he heard the pot crash. He got out of his seat and dug around under the sink to find the dustpan. He set to, cleaning up the mess. There had been to noticeable flame-like, water-like, or earth-like cause, which he supposed meant she had wielded an approximation of air. That type of aetherial imitation was hardest to spot, and Jideh found himself half-wondering what an aetherial could do with a distracted opponent and very pointed use of aetherial air. He'd found himself thinking more often about things like that, in the months following the Midnight Run. How elements clashed, what might happen if one elementalist fought another.
"Amelia. I knew that. Jideh, Jideh Basrah. I don't think I ever formally introduced myself, sorry about that." He didn't really know what else to say when it came to her choice of study. CGI and Anime were impressive, if a handful of YouTube videos were anything to go by, but he'd never seen it featured very prominently at the Academy, and he wondered who taught it. Back on the farm, he'd had zero time for movies, so he supposed it might pique his interest once they started class in earnest.
Having finished clean-up, Jideh disposed of the shattered pot, sighed and resolved to pick up another one next time he stopped by the greenhouse. The gardener who minded them had been very accommodating and so Jideh hoped he could somehow pay them back. Amelia's comment about his flower cause him to return his gaze to the lily. As the rays of sunset cast glowing light onto the translucent petals wrapped firmly around the flower's head, Jideh hummed appreciatively and wished he had a camera on hand so he could show Zeke. He'd just have to tell the boy about it when they saw each other next. His mind floundered, trying to remember the comment Amelia had made only a minute before.
"Yes, flowers are seldom ugly. They evolved to be aesthetically pleasing. You'd be surprised how often looks come into the equation when looking at which species survive. You for instance, shouldn't have any issues finding a mate. Er, boyfriend. Science textbooks can be very dry, even when discussing humans." Jideh sat back down, closed his eyes, and focused on controlled breathing, trying to reap every minute bit of relaxation he could from the evening, knowing that class would begin soon enough, and he wouldn't have this opportunity for much longer.
"You know, Manilow's crazy, but in this instance he is correct. If what I've read about aether is true, then you are actually manipulating air through the influence of aether when you do things like you did when you broke that pot."
The window was cracked, and Jideh felt the wind brush though his loose hair. It felt like the breath of the world, kissing his face and filling him with contemplative peace. On his bedside table, his latest plant, a lily, was stubbornly closed. He'd already tried feeding it energy, and it still wouldn't bloom. That irritated him. Luckily, this wonderful wind was pleasant enough to distract him. His very first plant, he'd long since transplanted, and he visited it sometimes in the greenhouse where he'd first met other elementalists. He'd figured he wouldn't be seeing much of Zeke, at least while the two explored their separate disciplines. Still, he couldn't help thinking about Kanako, and Dia, and which courses they would be taking...
He heard the key in the door and kept his gaze out over the fields that sprawled away from the dorm building. The sun was getting low in the sky, turning the normal blue hue beautiful shades of orange, red, yellow, and pink. He heard her ask a question, and he figured he at least ought to be polite. They didn't tend to see much of each other, hadn't in the past three months at least, but it would be a good idea to keep on good terms with somebody who had access to all of your things.
"I asked around and figured out that no matter which education path you choose, the course material is basic stuff, with more complicated specialty courses coming in subsequent years. So I bit the bullet and took practical Biology and Chemistry. Bio-chem, essentially. I tried to ask to get put in some kind of botany class, even as an extra course, but wouldn't you know it, that idiot Manilow was manning the registration desk when I went up, and he seemed hellbent on pissing me off. Ah well, it's like farming I guess. Basics first."
Jideh faced Alyssa properly. Or was it Anna? Crap. He suppressed a blush of embarrassment furiously.
"So uh, what about you...? What uh, did Manilow call you when you went up? He kept calling me Lotus Flower, the prick."
At the center of the school grounds is the Central/Main Building, housing classrooms, offices of faculty, and lecture halls. To the south of the courtyard that lies just outside the Main building is a forest area and to the south-southwest of the forest is the dormitories. The Dormitory building also houses the gym. An infirmary is located in the Main Building. Northwest of the CB is a lake, northeast is the desert area, and to the East is the road down the mountain. Lying North is just more mountain peak. And west is just cliffs. Between the lake and the CB there's also greenhouses. The track and field are located yet further south of the forest, as is Jordan's Shed. Lastly, The Hall of Elements can be found at the north end of the courtyard, and there's a big-ass statue of Kano right at the center of the courtyard.
@Zelosse Yes this may be totally wrong, but it's what I've been mentally working with, so maybe you could do us a solid and post a map or something? Thanks boss.
