Katherin frowned at the explanations. She knew that Thomas was doing his best to explain everything to her. He didn't know what was happening anymore then she did. He could only tell her what others had taken the time to explain to him. She wondered what Sara was doing to show her strength. The metal could be weights. She had heard that strong people used them to show off how strong they were.

Liz made her way to the dinning room. She was curious what kind of meal would be provided. Not that it mattered to her. She smiled shyly when she saw the others in the room. She was too shy to greet them. She made her way to the large table. She looked at the offerings. There was fruit, cereal, muffins, and bagels. Nothing that would get cold waiting for them. While she was disappointer that there was nothing hot she was happy to have food of some kind. She helped herself to a muffin and took a seat.

The biggest problem with being blind was tht you had no idea what was going on. Demonstrations might be great for the other new arrivas. But they didn't do her a lick of good. She heard someone rushing about. The girl clearly had too much energy. She also head metal clsnging. What was that? It wasn't a sound she had heard before so she had no way of knowing what caused it. Destructive? That word caught her attention more then any of the others she heard. What kind of power was being shown?

Roxy rolled her eyes. She wasn't sure how much of what the old man said she believed. She knew she had powers. She didn't know what it was Goid for those. Nor was she sure she wanted to be a hero. She wasn't afraid to fight. Sh had been fighting all her life. She just wasn't sure that she cared enough to fight for other people. Still she had no where else to go. So far now she would wait and watch.
