Katherin gave Damien, or was is name Damon, a small smile. She wasn't ok. But there wasn't anything he could do to help her. Kiiro's words had hurt. But that wasn't her biggest problem. She didn't want the boy to think he needed to rush to her rescue. She had been taking care of herself all her life. She was used to doing things on her own. It would take time for her to get use to others wanting to help her. She nodded. "I am ok."

Zack smiled. He was thrilled that so many of them were going to work together. He loved working with others. It was his favorite thing about Fairy Tale. He was rarely alone. He hated being alone more then anything in the world. He wasn't sure that the job required all of them but he figure it was better to have too many wizards rather then not enough. With an item named the demon flute there could be all kinds of problems. "Great. If everyone is ready lets head out."

Katherin glanced over her shoulder at Kiiros. His words hurt. There was no one she was going to tell him that she was incapable of taking the test. Kiiros might be the meanest but she had little doubt that the others would pity lack of education. She wasn't like them. She couldn't blend in. She hadn't been able to go to school. She had only been able to learn things she had been able to observe. Reading wasn't one of those things. So she mostly just filled the test with random answers.

Just to make sure I understand the crystals only last as long as he is focused on them? So if he was distracted they would start to fail?

Katherin was glad when the others started to take the test. She bit her lip. She didn't have the first clue what to do. She had never actually used one of these things before. She tried to watched the others without them noticing. That helped her figure out how to turn the computer one. But that was all. About of letters appeared but she had no idea what any of them meat. This was going to be harder then she thought.
