As Taeyeon felt the shelves she was by for some food, she knew she wasn't alone. The sounds of walkers were not the only thing she could hear throughout the time she was there, very feint but weak footsteps as well, obviously from someone being quiet and not as sluggish as a walkers who would just drag itself across the store. She kept walking, she was known for her efforts of being exceptionally silent which was a good skill to have in the world's current state.

She felt it coming, she held her stomach but it still happened. The odd growling sound because of her starvation, anyone close to her would definitely have heard that and those people would definitely be hostile to someone holding a silenced weapon. She didn't know the layout of the room at all, so she just awkwardly moved a bit faster trying to move away from her original location where her stomach growled. She was moving towards the registers, hoping for at least one little chocolate bar that are usually found by the registers to be there even if it was old, old chocolate isn't generally bad, it just has a terrible consistency.

Suddenly, she heard a footstep not far from her, it sounded like a few feet away, it was a person, based on how it sounded it was a person trying their absolute hardest to be quiet. She then hit behind of the rows of shelves, waiting for an opening if it was a person.

People always say that she'll end up being successful in Korea, but boy were they wrong. If anything, she'd end up being successful elsewhere. Seoyeon loved playing with other boys her age in the neighborhood, because she saw that whatever they were doing, it looked fun and challenging, and her competitive nature continue to grow from there.

Seoyeon growing up was a whole different Seoyeon, she didn't grow out of her competitiveness but used it as fuel for whatever she wanted to do in life. Her parents were hoping the problem would work itself out. Naturally, it didn't. In middle school, her parents ended up moving to New York, and her competitiveness died down for a little when she realised she wasn't going to see her old friends again for a long long time, which triggered her first experience of abandonment and it became an issue right then and there for her. Her grades began to fluctuate in the first half of the school year there in New York, since she'd always start thinking about what her life would have been if she hadn't moved to New York. After a while and the process of making new friends, Seoyeon felt better and became her old self. It seemed to just get better for her after that point, since they were kind of just scrapping upper class at this point because of her father's work.

In high school, she started competing in dance and sports for her school because her competitive nature just continued to grow and grow as time went by. Her friends would encourage her but point out her flaws, but she'd say that she was just doing what she thinks is right and that never goes well for them. After awhile, Seoyeon continued to self-improve to tone down all of her negative traits that were a part of her. Of course, it wasn't easy, but she continued to get better everyday. Her grades started doing well, and she became more popular and friendly, to those who were congratulating her whenever she competed, even if it was the competing schools. But in Junior year, she decided to quit competing for the school, but instead wanted to compete for herself, and where was that? The local arcade.

The local arcade uptown was where Seoyeon learned and grew an addiction to playing games and competing small time in tournaments like the Initial D games or any of the fighting games (Specifically the Tekken franchise). That arcade hosted tournaments every now and then for a small cash prize, and since she loved to compete, she joined. She won that first tournament, but then 2 months went by, another tournament rolled in and she lost to someone in the Losers Finals part of the Tekken tournament. She ended up swearing and kicking the machines in anger, and she got banned in that arcade for that. There was this other arcade in midtown, and she started going there instead, but promised herself never to do anything stupid like that ever again.

And that didn't just carry in arcades, that carried to the school too, she didn't want to do anything stupid. She made sure she wouldn't.

Taeyeon continued to stumble through the streets, making sure to make every bullet count since bullets are not the easiest things to come across nowadays in a zombie infested America (And probably the whole world.) She could defend herself no problem, but when it came to close quarters, she was always at a disadvantage even with all the things that Jimin has taught her. Her thin frame made herself a harder to hit target but her strength never scratched the surface of others, and she didn't want to rely on her combat knife too much since it might get dull pretty fast, though it was always there when she needed it.

As she walked through the streets, she saw a mall in the distance with a few walkers littered around the place. Supplies? She asked herself as she crept along the beaten path, threading ever so lightly that she was almost dead silent. She had one hand on her waist, on her holster, on the handle of her M9A3 and made sure to only use it if absolutely necessary.

There was those large windows where the clothes that were on sale were usually displayed in malls, there was small opening where she slipped in; she almost cut herself due to the size of the opening but she thanked the heavens that something like that didn't happen. She ended up in this clothing store, it looked liked a Sears from what the sign looked like, but she could barely make it since it was so dark in there with the only light source coming from the window where she just came in from. There was something in her gut that she felt, a feeling like she wasn't alone in this mall, she didn't want to stick long enough to find out, she just wants to find extra supplies and leave as soon as she can.

When Taeyeon was growing up she was already a responsible kid and was already quite known for being exactly that along with her beautiful and kind nature, people often think that whatever she does in his life will be brought with good fortune. She continued to grow up to be a reliable and kind, making those her most favourable features to everyone she meets. She was always polite and never really showed disrespect to anyone, always talking formally and showing no authority to those of her superiors. Always someone so genuine and lovable, someone willing to do anything for a friend.

Taeyeon's kindness and over all genuineness gave her this aura to everyone around her, making that the instant vibe people get when they're faced with her. Though, her genuine and polite personality does have it's own contrast, she's always so self-conscious about what people think about her that there are times she forgets to do things her way or the fun way, and this often leads to the outbreak of her deceptive nature. She fears that being judged so much means that it is a bad thing, she thinks that every judgement laid upon her is something negative, never positive unless proven otherwise. Taeyeon's kindness is an understatement, just that word already makes it an understatement, she always puts others before herself while showing that everything will turn out well even after the darkest of times.

History:

Taeyeon was born in Seoul, South Korea, with a mother, a step father, and her brother, Jimin who was three years older than her who she always looked up to. Though, when Taeyeon was born, she had no trace of her step father in her blood, Jimin and her are all born from the same man; The mother carried Taeyeon for two months before her father and mother separated, though they did both agree to keep watch on both children. Even though their father and mother were separated, their lives were still in the upper middle class since their father and step father had high paying jobs and the two were able to go to high ends schools.

Growing up, Taeyeon was surrounded by people who admired her for her beauty and was the main reason for her making quite a lot of friends when she was young; and as she grew older, and older, only few had stayed by her side, and of course her brother who was there supporting her as much as he could. As she reached highschool, it was there that she wanted to be a musician, a singer to be exact and both her mother and father offered that she would go abroad for college, and she agreed. She had also made an agreement with Jimin that after he serves his time in the military, he will come live with her. She then flew all the way to Oregon for a university that she got accepted in, and decided to dorm there while her brother served time in the military. She and her parents had only bought a house during the last year of Jimin's service.

As Jimin and her were living together, she had graduated from university and became a small time musician, hoping that, that would change soon. Jimin had a corporate job of being a lawyer which was good for them financially. During their time living together, Jimin had been slowly teaching her self-defense and handling firearms that he had learned in the military, which later came in handy.

One day, Jimin went out to do a grocery run, and while he was out the news broadcast had stated something about an outbreak of some sorts, though Taeyeon was paying attention she continued to write lyrics on the couch. Suddenly, banging was heard from the door which repeated for awhile which annoyed her, so she went to go check; as soon as she opened the door, she realised that it was their next door neighbor with a bite mark on the neck and blood running down his mouth. The man charged at her but she was able to move out of the way before he could get near her, she then closed the door with her foot and sprinted to the kitchen, she grabbed the closest kitchen knife and stabbed Mr. Hendricks right through the skull and he fell flat on the ground. She then grabbed her phone on the coffee table and dialed her brother while she ran upstairs, as she ran upstairs to her room, she heard the feint ringing coming from her brother's room and it would appear that her brother left his phone at home during this whole fiasco. Annoyed, Taeyeon changed out of her clothes and into something suited for outdoors, and went straight to the basement to grab the equipment she and her brother had stored down there. She got the vest, pistol and combat knife from the basement.

Taeyeon held her ground there in the house hoping for her brother to come home, but it had been hours and she was getting overrun. She ran off, evading the walkers that were in her way as she ran through the streets. She didn't know what to do at this point, she ended up in someone's shed, slowing down her breathing as she had an inner mental breakdown, wishing that her brother was okay. She didn't know what to do and continued to wander. It's been awhile and yet still no sign of Jimin, she wouldn't give up but she just continued to walk around the world, hoping to meet up with her lost brother soon.
