Okay, in the interests of party balance I'll take Yukikaze.
I think the Arpeggio of Blue Steel manga was the inspiration for Kantai Collection, or at least made shipgirls popular enough that they mae a game out of them. And then Azur Lane came out as well a few years later.

What ships are available? Are we using modern ships or WW2-era ships like in Arpeggio? (It's a plot point that the Fleet of Fog don't use carriers because their aircraft are vastly inferior to human planes)
