I remember playing around with a military sci-fi Advanced RP connected to an NRP, but I never actually made it. I always liked the idea though, and probably would have done it if I actually had the time to GM two RPs and post in all the others.

I don't give fuck, planetary shields are banned. Especially for you. Although, some cool weak-point system could be accepted. I mean, describing the glow of a shield above a planet immediately brings the entire post up, like, a bazillion levels in coolness. Duck still doesn't get them. Because his "weak points" would probably be giant space stations made out of solid graphene and protected by ten layers of invincible shielding. I remember a part where someone fired a shit ton of missiles and guns at a planets shield and duck said it took the shield down to 97%. Or along those lines. It was just ultra op. That might be why. It's no big dealAlso remembering said planetary shield was being powered by a fleet of 100 ships and all of the defense stations orbiting the planet, and they were fighting a fleet of about 50 ships with inferior technology.

It got weird quick. Anyway, I'm writing up a post now. All after will be jank phone posts. Well, keyguy, I know you stressed not being tracked but.. well, the traders only have mobile units for defense. So they would be quite adept at tracking FTL and cloaked objects, especially an old design like the drive terrans use. The downside to this well tuned sensor grid is the fact its pretty local. Outer system scanners will detect large signatures. Inner system would detect small one. The closer to a planet one would get the distance from mars to the sun, the sensors would be ridiculously pin point. Gotta have some sort of defense as the Traders have no real offensive force and the defense force they have is rather small and spread thin.. PLUS, its Sevren, the capitol of the nation. its gonna be monitored and defended heavily.Yeah, that's fine. Looking back on it, it wasn't the best of ideas.
