Current So, as an American, what do I do when I need to choose between illegal immigration to Canada and dying in a civil war?

Up until today I've never had any trouble with my EUIV Japan games. Today I got stomped five times in a row before even uniting the country.

Bio

I'm a weeaboo communist. Are you surprised?

EDIT: You probably are now, but I'm not going to tell you why you wouldn't have been like two years ago. You get to agonize over that yourself.

Nobody here knows who I am, though.
I'd love to see fear as a theme. Not really all that much to say here, just... fear. Could make for some interesting stories.

Do you work well under pressure? Is it like that "if you act like you have five minutes it will take all day but if you act like you have all day it'll take five minutes" kinda thing but in reverse?

Yeah. I BSed my way through a book report and a Biology essay the day before it was due in thirty minutes and got an A, but when I'm trying to keep working on one of my long-term projects I'll usually find myself on youtube.
Well I've been trying to force myself to write. Turns out I can't do anything without a deadline.
Fair warning -- publishers don't like it when a certain amount of the material has been put online already (I think the magic number is 10%? It varies probably). It's probably fine if there's heavy editing in your future, but it's something to be aware of when you're putting up huge portions like @Keyguyperson does. Might wind up closing some doors if you're not careful.

Pfft. You know what the solution to that problem is?

Just make it really, really long in the end! It's not like publishers won't throw out a 200,000 word epic from some random author!
I could totally use this contest as an excuse to work on my first piece actually intended for publishing, and only use the contest as a deadline while I pretend to be in it to win it. Or I could pull out an old idea from my brain. Huh.

Or I could do both.

What could possibly go wrong?

Found one!

I don't play either.

Mainly because I am starting to get tired off the flood of early access survival games.

ARK is actually a working game, which is more than literally every other early access survival game can say.

Oh, hey, ever realize what the acronym for Early Access is?

Nice one.

New question: Does anyone have a theme song (or just a song you listen to a lot when getting IC) for their character?

It's not exactly the MOST fitting song, but Klaypex's 1941 is something I listen to way too often here. It's taken over from all the Sabaton because power metal doesn't really fit a dude who's only battle is with his impulse to just punch the woman he knows is an SS officer.

Lately mine has been 'Demons' by Imagine Dragons. Catchy, I like them.

Also you're gona kill me but I can't post tonight :/ Many apologies, year-end assignments are killers.

Dude.

That's way more appropriate than my song.

Now I really want to find a fitting theme song for Józef.
