<Snipped quote by Kho>

By the way, Kho, is it written anywhere that a Demi-God created from two gods would be stronger than one made by a single god? All this talk of Demi-God making has got me curious.

It is written that those born of two gods are higher tier demigods and those of a god and a mortal are lower tier. What that means though I've no idea
<Snipped quote by Kho>

This is news.

Well, certain gods. Like Jvan or Slough, Vowzra even.
A god can actually create a demigod without a partner
<Snipped quote by OldManWong>

Its "Its better to be loved and feared, but if you had to choose one, its better to be feared". However the Italian word used for fear was temuto, from the latin timuerunt, that doesn't translate well to fear, after all, its common in latin countries to say that word in relation to their devotion to god. Its not a fear in the sense of "My liege is cruel and will behead me" its like "My liege is wise and bad things will happen if I stray from his way"

t.Person who made a whole work about this crap in college

If I could read in Latin, I would. For now, I'll have to settle with the arbitrary English translation.

Fear itself, I feel is an extremely broad term that could encompass both fear of cruelty and fear of competency; however, I also agree the meaning was somewhat lost in the translation.

I'm assuming that the kind of fear 'temuto' is may be closer to the 'fear of God' as meant in 'piety' - it is not 'I'm scared of God 'cause he's cruel and will behead me' but more 'God is wise and bad things will happen if I stray from his way'.
But it would have been weird if they translated it as 'have piety towards your King' due to the religious connotations around that word int he English tongue. In other languages 'piety' can in fact be used with regards to temporal, non-spiritual things.

Rolls:
Territory: 11 - Your nation is somewhat average, with perhaps a little extra. It has plenty of space to go around.
Tech: 8 - Your nation is still antiquated, but modernization is about to begin or in its beginning stages.
Army Size: 9 - Your army is decently sized, and is maintained year-round.
Economy: 1 - Your economy is weak and ineffectual. It is in the middle of a massive crash or is undeveloped entirely.
Production: 2 - Your nation is largely agrarian, with some natural resource exploitation to a small degree.
Navy Size: 1 - You have no navy.
Airforce Size: 1 - You have no air force.
Magic: 8 - Like a nation that is aware of modern technology, and seeks to acquire it, yet falls far behind, your nation lags in the field, struggling to keep up, and at best keeping pace in a select field. Perhaps, were your nation to pool its resources and brainpower, you could produce one of the contraptions of more magical nations - but it would be a true national effort.
Mobilization: 15 - It takes a month to mobilize.

Hmm, I never did manage to get through The Prince, it's still on the reading list though
<Snipped quote by Hael>

That's good. There will always be room for heroes and demigods in Lifprasil's soon-to-maybe-be empire. Plus it's better to be respected - rather than hated.

Thanks ;) By the way, you aren't taking into consideration Ulls speshul MP sauce when calculating? At the end of this turn, Ull will be at The RG stage. Just a heads up.

Oh yes! I was going to ask you about that. Since we've had billions of years pass, I had no idea what stage Ull would be add come next Turn. Reed Giant, will take that into account ;)

<Snipped quote by Kho>

Dear god, Kho! Please change the font colour to white when it has that red background!

(That's cool though. Do you reckon you could copy/paste that into a google doc that we can view but not edit? Might be useful for reference ;) )

xDD will change it, no worries. And I'll see if I can, not great with google docs but will try

Personally, I'd have gotten at least one more post in this turn if it wasn't for this shitty flu that I caught so suddenly. I am in no right state of mind for any sort of writing right now but I reckon I'll be back to normal come Friday. But as Cyclone said, It's not necessary for you to post every other day. Heck, this RP was supposed to be a slow one because of Academic Year but I find myself to more and more use it as an excuse to procrastinate rather than for the sheer enjoyment of writing.

So take your time. 1 post per turn is OK.

Hope you get better soon. And yes, if I find out that anyone is prioritising this RP over their studies/family/dog/eating/sleeping/getting a whiff of fresh air/reading Moby Dick etc. I will shut it down till June.
So don't prioritise this RP over more important things.
DO, however, think about the fact that Galbar has 7 moons when you're going for a night-time walk and spot our moon. Or think of Ull'Yang when you notice the sun. Or remember Ilunbar when you have a good dream xP

I finally found the first Divinus from the old guild in the wayback machine.

You coulda just asked me xD I would've linked you to it

Newbie Vowzra is cute
