Current I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Hi. If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am.

You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

The death throes have come for Hallowstone. For eons, the realm has stood on the brink, consistently pressed by those who would seek to do it injustice.

The realm of Hallowstone is divided in several subregions, each containing their own culture, history and more.

[ ❇ ] T H E S H A T T E R E D S H O R E
The shoreline of Hallowstone lies to east, running from the mountains and deep into the bogwood. It used to be a populous place, filled with much trade and commerce in days of old. This all changed when the region was subject to the wrath of the gods, and shattered by flaming rocks from the very heavens. Now, the Shattered Shore is a begotten memory—a place sealed away by jagged, deadly rocks and treacherous pirate coves. For those willing to risk life and death, however, countless relics and ancient treasure from ages past still remain hidden away ripe for the taking.

Fogtide Harbor
Fogtide Harbor, or more commonly just Fogtide, is one of the few true harbors among the Shattered Shore. Led by House Ashecroft, it is a vital port not only for the shore but all of Hallowstone, and in turn is a frequent target of pirates and those from beyond the fog. The people here are a hardy, martial folk; their castle walls lined with entrenchments as much as their coffers are filled with gold.

Barrow Hall
Descended from bogmen, Barrow Hall is a odd place among the Shattered Shore. House Barrow and their people have manufactured dugouts across the countryside.

Dusklight
God-fearing and spiritual, House Godwin has made their seat of power a home for lost travelers and priests alike. It is a place of learning and religion, with numerous libraries and temples dedicated to the gods and the pursuit of knowledge. A light in the darkness, one might say.

Shadowspire
The Shadowspire is a mysterious tower-styled keep that is the seat of House Gysborne. It never seems to stay in one spot, and few know of what secrets lie within. Even the villagers know better than to wander too close to the spire, lest they subject themselves to whatever stories they might've heard.

Gloomshade Keep
Gloomshade is one of the few true castles in the Bogwood, sitting at the pass that connects the swamp to the vale.
