It has happened to me a couple of times, I don't take it personally after all the person's only experience with me is over a limited text based communication system so he really can't have a firm grasp of who I am and besides more than likely he or she lives 100,000 KM from me so their opinion really doesn't affect me anyways but that's just my take on it.
I had apologized to Lugubrious via PM the day after that incident. I was completely in the wrong on that day and I fully admitted to it.

So to see this comment about me after having apologized is what prompted the "Seriously?"

The fact the you apologized doesn't change the fact that you kinda spazzed out. Besides the point wasn't really about you, it was about not taking criticism too seriously.

And to be honest apologizing for an act doesn't mean it didn't happen and it doesn't mean people aren't going to talk about it. If the intent behind saying sorry was to get Lug to forget about it then the apology likely wasn't sincere and to be perfectly plain wasn't worth the effort. This happened and if it is applicable to a situation we are going to bring it up again.

And also the fact that you kept a picture of the apology says a lot more than the apology itself.
Narayan, such modesty is completely unnecessary. And I mean that--a person named Stella once tried to apply, then did what can only be described as a self-pity tantrum after I gave her sheet some criticism. Don't give a proverbial rat's ass about if your work makes someone comfortable; just keep around, keep improving, and everything will be fabulous.

...Seriously?

Yes very much so, and Lug's description while accurate was quite on the mild and polite side compared to what you actually did when we suggested a couple of mild edits to your sheet.

Sweet. I only suggest edits, though; I try not to be arbitrary unless someones being implausible. Like breaking out into rap.

Did someone actually break out into rap? Please tell me I must know!

Oh hey Lug, can Sapphire skip part of next class in order to get patched up at the infirmary. She's not too seriously injured but I think she needs a binding for her rib and something for her ankle as well as a good number of cuts and bruises that could use some disinfectants.
Good cause once we go to the forest the next logical step would of course be (after Saria explains the situation) to set off for the Fairy Realm. Oh and if you want to come Lug it's lucky for you cause unlike the fairies in the Twilight Realm Twili can survive in the Fairy Realm. Albiet it a bit uncomfortably, given the environment they are used to the Fairy Realm would seem impossibly bright. It should be fine for humans given the kind of environment they come from.
It was as though Navi's fury had hit a wall, she'd not expected this. The fairy girl had thought that Midna would continue to deny it in her cavalier, arrogant way. She'd not prepared for the possibility that her grief might make an impact on the Twili. It left her rage with nowhere to go except back. She had nothing to respond to, Midna was ignorant of the fairy genocide but also remorseful. Navi's rage seemed to have shattered the calm exterior that Midna presented to the world leaving the Twilight Princess vulnerable and shaky. Some part of Navi smiled saying 'Serves her right to be knocked off her high horse into harsh reality.' but another part one fueled by the wisdom of possessing the knowledge of the ages told her 'This girl is not to blame, look at her she is barely past her years of irresponsible youth. Even if the Twili altered there history this girl did not give the order and she can't be held responsible for the actions of her ancestors, the sins of the father do not lay guilt upon the son.' Navi of course knew which was the voice of reason, which of grief but it still ate at her that this woman even before knowing all the facts would dismiss Navi's accounts out of turn. Of course Midna would have had no dealings with the people of the Fairy Realm but still it was both rude and arrogant to treat Navi like some sort of servant to be dismissed without any repercussion. Navi would not let the matter drop, not entirely but she was prepared to let it rest for the moment. "Your ignorance merely confirms what I have said, your people fabricated there own history in order to alleviate there conscience." Navi turned away from the shadow woman, she clenched her hand, the one with blood flowing from the palm. There was a bright light and the skin of her pale hand stitched itself back together. It was a gift of the Fairy Realm, every fairy no matter there status had the ability to mend there own bodies. There was a limit to this and of course only the pink healing fairies could apply this power to others but this was not important to Navi, she had her own strengths. With her back to the Twilight Princess Navi decided it was time to leave. She walked towards the door reaching out for the handle, just when she was about to touch it the fairy girl stopped. She cocked her head to the side. Navi could hear muted movement behind the door. Someone was listening. Perhaps it was someone Midna expected who heard Navi's yelling threw the walls and was waiting for an appropriate time to enter but something made Navi doubt it. She glanced back at the Twilight Princess. "Were you expecting visitors?" Without waiting for a response Navi pulled the door open to reveal a man squatting by the door with a boomerang out listening at the crack. His cloths were perhaps the most outlandish she'd ever seen. Some sort of purple robe that seared her eyes and ended covering his face with what looked to be an imitation of a rabbits head also in purple. Navi vaguely remembered that color from the square where she and Link had defeated Arrghus. He was a merchant or something? Thinking he might flee after being discovered Navi snatched the boomerang out of his hand and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck of his robe, her grip unimaginable strong for her appearance. Navi turned back to look at Midna still holding the purple merchant in her grasp. "Is he a friend of yours?" she asked wanting to know if it would offend the Twilight Princess greatly if Navi were to interrogate him. If it did all the better. Her earlier rage had been shunted to the back of her mind at the promise of a distraction but just as it had been for several thousand years, it was still there looking for its next chance to explode.
Without Navi?
Yukihisa forces his opponents into using different fighting styles against him. Against people and the likes, Yukihisa mixes various strategies and fighting styles to utilize a single hybrid battle style that can fluently transition from one strategy to another.

As a team member, Yukihisa boasts a flexibile role in his team, as he can perform different kinds of tasks despite only having a sword.

Yukihisa will never accept an “assassination mission” of any kind, and will always try to show himself to his opponents before he begins battle.

Between a lustrous woman who pretends to need help and an aged man who desperately needs someone who could stand for a good cause, Yukihisa would instantly choose to help the man without any hesitation.

As a team member, Yukihisa strives to help any inner turmoils his allies face, regardless of how light it is.

He tends to think outside of the box

though he may branch away from certain rules and orders given to him to do what he believes is just.

Everyone seems to have covered concerns regarding his capabilities but I wanted to say something about him as a character. This is just my opinion but I think he's too perfect both in combat and as a person in general.

This basically says that he can use a multitude of different battle styles so he is never predictable, he can perform almost any role within his team, he's infallibly righteous always doing the right thing no matter the cost, he always helps his teammates through anything they're going threw, he's independent and spontaneous and not afraid to challenge authority to do the right thing. Congratulations you've just constructed the RWBY equivalent of Superman.

He's got to have some flaws or something, some personal trauma, weakness in his fighting, a breakdown of his ability to communicate with other people, anything really but he can't just be perfect.
In my collab, I slowed down the molecules in the air around my opponent, would that encase him in ice and crystal and trap him? Is that possible? Is that OP?
Dude first off, that is going way overboard especially for a student whose only beginning to use his semblance in combat situations. Secondly slowing down the air around someone would effectively just make the air thicker. It would make it harder to move but not impossible to fight. In another RP I'm involved in I have a character who has telekinesis and at his most advanced stages of mutation he is able to condense air molecules to form a shield. If we assume the same physics apply between the two then this makes the shield ineffective against energy weapons because they can use the air as a medium to travel AKA dust will get through the barrier. You are effectively constricting something whose very base nature demands that it spread and move as far and as freely as it can. Taking into account that the semblance is fighting the natural properties of air this would require an intense amount of energy like say more energy than someone whose in the middle of combat can adequately produce without passing out. My personal opinion and I think Lug's as well is that you shouldn't be able to do this but in the interest of not wanting to hamper creativity if you do wish to keep this as a facade of your semblance then you need to add some major side effects.
Sapphire and Oswald is coming, a bit slow but I think we're each thinking our moves through very carefully. It's probably about a third done.

Hey @Multi_Media_Man after the matches are done would you mind if Sapphire hit Oswald up for regular sparring sessions. He seems to need some help fighting fast agile opponents like her and she could use some pointers on dealing with slower armored adversaries.
*ugh* maybe it's just my taste but why put separators into a perfectly flowing collab post? XD

Mainly because three or four of our RPers are incapable of actually using there characters names in a post prefering merely to refer to there characters as he/she and forcing me to look up which character they are actually playing cause I can't memorize the twenty four different characters and which RPer goes with them.
