This is a tribute to the previous RP to bear this name. These are the beloved characters involved from that ill fated storyline. Here is where they lie and here is where we remember them.
Fallen Soldiers

Nianxi Serilya:
Survived by her valiant mentor, the one who made her what she was: Laue

Seth of Valeria:
Though he could not be present to grieve for this loss Halvtand remains close in the hearts of all those who cared for Set.

Rinic Arderas:
Always will Krodin329 feel sorrow at the loss of this good man.

Urisk Deilano:
Even in death he will forever be a pox on his father: megarandom, for he practiced the forbidden art of Witchcraft.

Mahtan Fëfalas:
Vladimir Grimm was the proud lord of this elf. Now Slain to quell the demonic powers coursing within him he will be missed by none.

Susanna Grace:
Her closest relation the Prince of Seraphs firmly believes that she shall resurface, though perhaps not as she was.

Cylus
Though he has not been seen in some time Melkor holds out hope that this talented swordsmaster may still yet live.

Weapons lost long ago and never to be recovered. Their existence is remembered for historical purposes.
@Minato Namikaze
The backstory looks good, indepth enough to give a good idea but still room for growth. Character fits pretty well into the setting. Just two things. Firstly a sword has a pommel not a pummel (Grammer Nazi to the rescue). And I was wondering to what kind of degree can Tyranny discharge lightning and how proficient is Gerad with using this technique?
Are you accepting people outside of the "roll call"?

The Roll Call is essentially just a place holder till I have a firm character and cast list that post with links and headers and the like. Basically just something to occupy the first character tab post for the moment. We can always use new blood.

Their is nothing inherently wrong with the character though I would say that he could use a bit more fleshing out. Most of the categories are a little sparse. At least two paragraphs for a bio is required which if you're splitting hairs is around eight to ten sentences. A paragraph for personality, just so I have an idea of who this guy is. It wouldn't be a bad idea to include the types of things he is good at in the bio either.

Besides that there's just one other thing. All character's must be Veiron survivors, those people that were present when the demons were released into the city and lived through the experience. Mere exposure the ruins wouldn't be enough to give a person a Mark of Demons. They would have had to be physically present when the demons were released. That massive discharge of satanic energy is what caused the disfiguring marks. On that subject could you input a picture or description of the glyph?
Firstly: Shameless plug

Second I need some help designing difference classes and types of demons. So far all I have is an incorporeal breed of storm demons that must take on a human host to exist in the mortal world. Anyone want to give me a hand?
The Infernal Codex

Djinn:
Incorporeal demons that must take on a human host to exist as complete beings in the mortal world. Majority of these exist as smoke forms without a host however some remain tied to their host bodies even after destruction and must lure another close to it in order to make a transfer. The smoke forms can move at great speeds but lack the ability to affect anything in the physical world. They are also vulnerable to certain types of magic in this form. While in a human host these types of demons are much more stable. Having a host leaves them with only two weaknesses, holy magic and the physical destruction of the host. The mortal body can still be destroyed, if it is damaged severely a demon will no longer be able to operate it at all, though some varieties are capable of fully repairing a host body unless it is vaporized. This class of demon is also capable of possessing corpses and animals in addition to living beings.

Class 2:
These demons are possessed of their own bodies in the material world. Majority of these creatures are powerful and grotesque. They are closer to beasts than most of their brethren and as such lack critical thinking skills operating purely on instinct. These are somewhat less common compared to the other classes as the destruction they wantonly rain down attracts demon slayers. Usually quite large.

Class 3:
A subdivision of Class 2, these Demons are beast-like in nature but they have evolved past simple destruction. Often at least partially humanoid these demons act strategically, because they have higher brain functions they often utilize weapons or armour in their endeavors and like to take their time with kills. While Class 2s simply wreck havoc these types of demons attack specific people or places for specific purposes. After the fall of Veiron this class of demon meticulously hunted down the smiths that were capable of forging enchanted weapons and slaughtered them. The oldest of them still possess these mystical artifacts.

Class 4:
These hellspawn possess both a physical and spirit form. As such they are much more difficult to kill. When their physical form is destroyed their spirit lives on and is capable of creating a new body for itself by possessing a human host. It will then incubate itself within the mortal (normally a woman) for a long period of time using the flesh all around it to construct a new body. When it emerges the human perishes and the new body resembles a bloody mass of flesh at which time it is vulnerable. It will distort and grow quickly assuming the form the demon had prior to being destroyed. In times of need when injured these demons can possess a human to recuperate however they are unable to possess something already dead. Unlike Djinn the hosts of these creatures rarely survives. When newly created the essence of these demons is still tied to the body it is created with. Over time it learns to detach from its own body in case of emergency but before it learns, this class of demon is vulnerable to dying as it will perish with its body if killed. This means that these demons are only truly vulnerable before reaching maturity. Their spirit forms can be destroyed in much the same way as that of as a Djinn however they are much more resilient.

Creatures of the Abyss:
These are the Greater demons of myth and legend. The truly terrifying beasts that have not been seen in the mortal world since the dawn of man. These are the original demons. The progenitors of all that rain terror down on the earth today. No one escapes an encounter with these beasts alive without a miracle to save them.

50 B.C. (Before Cataclysm)

The world was prosperous, people lived in peace. The Kingdom of Valeria hadn't seen a war for the past hundred years after their new seemingly-immortal king took the throne. Cities grew bigger, families doubled in numbers, farms produced triple their yearly production. The seas were filled with boats bringing in fish that had grown in size apparently overnight. The world finally seemed perfect, a heaven on earth; An Eden brought upon them by the mighty gods themselves. Little did they know, their King had offered a dark price for this prosperity. The King wasn't a vile ruler or a bad person. He was an older gentleman, looking as if he was in his late fifties, a dedicated and humble servant of his people. He listened to their needs, and he loved each and every one of them with all his heart. He had even taken it upon himself to learn most of the names of the people living in his home city: Veiron. But when his dark past came to haunt him on the tenth hour of his hundredth year, everything was plunged into a darkness that would never seem to lift.

0 B.C. - 1 A.F. (After the Fall)

The Demons descended on his tower, the fabric of the world splintering where the King stood. With their gateway to the mortal world firmly entrenched the demons began to pour out. The King had made a deal with the devil. Prosperity and the absence of their carnage for a hundred years in exchange for his soul and his kingdom. The Demons, being greedy fiends, betrayed the King, claiming his soul fifty years before the end of the agreement. Perhaps they had seen his plan to banish them from the world once and for all, or else they were simply inpatient. Whatever the reason the King's foolish meddling loosed horrors known only in myth and legend into the streets, they rampaged through stores and homes, tearing citizens apart from the inside with an insanity and hunger nobody had ever seen in their lifetime. The King laid burnt to a crisp in his chambers, his mouth open in a silent screech of pure agony, as if he knew everything was lost.

The whole city and its surroundings were scorched with unholy fire and even to this day nothing can grow there. Amongst the unlucky few who made it out of the city alive some found that the event had marked them for life. A birthmark they'd never seen before, perhaps a scar, maybe their eyes changed color, or their skin turned black. Some of these people tried to hide their markings and did whatever they could to live on as if nothing had happened. Some embraced them, claiming that the mark would forever remind them of Veiron, and what the demons did there.

Only hours before his death, when the immortal king realized the mistake he had made he gave his people one final order, the formation of a new kind of army, the Stormbringers. They were a band of highly trained and skilled fighters. Soon after Veiron fell a group of strong fighters took the name and now roam free, claiming to follow the last wish of the King. They care little for the lives of the innocent, their only goal is to exterminate the demons that terrorize the land. They are the only ones known to have killed demons.

10 A.F. Present time.

Ten years from the destruction of Veiron.

We will follow the paths of a few brave men and women as they too will make a difference. Fighters, Mages, Assassins and Scholars. What lies ahead? No one knows. It is up to you to find out.

This will be a game full of exploration and development. Apart from what is above there is no prepared story, no prepared events, locations, dialogues. Nothing. From now on we're in uncharted territory. Each player can create their own story within this world, or travel with other players and create the world together. I will try to keep this thread updated with any information relevant to the main story.

Ingenuity and creativity are encouraged but bear in mind the world we are building. If something seems radical as you are writing it I would prefer it be ran by me or my Co-GM rather than me having to issue a retraction or edit order.

Current Co-GMs:
Elections are currently being held.

@Laue Exposure to raw unbridled demonic elements causes deformations not advantages. If the person exposed was already possessed of magic at the time they could find there magic similarly deformed. It wouldn't improve their magic but it could change how it performs. Also at that point to most common tests that the populous is aware of it would register as demonic magic so watch out for that.
@Melkor is it not visible at the top of the Interedt check? I just copied the link from the old RP.

@Laue what do you mean by summon armour and weapons and what do you mean by "finds himself able". Does he suddenly have magic out of nowhere? Also you don't want to take up you're old character? It shouldn't be difficult to find in the old OOC. You were one of the first to apply.
