Dude you are so standoffish, and that's coming from me.
@Innuecmon, just sort of respond or something
Kinda spooky not knowing the competition, I'll be honest. If I weren't confident in my character I'd probably bow out.

Also well needed bump.
With no way to defend himself against either of General Freedom's punches, Sigmund teetered on his footing away from the hero. If his body weren't so damned dense, the breath would have been knocked cleanly from him, if not worse. Even with his cloak, Freedom's punch carried one hell of a wallop. It actually exposed some of Sigmund's clothes underneath it for a split second.

As he stumbled to the side he swung his right arm around and lifted up his left leg.

This caused his entire body to spin on his right heel, bringing the explosive that he had meant for his first strike back towards his foe. Like an olympic hammer tosser, Sigmund pitched the sphere of energy directly towards Freedom's gut.

Intending to slam his foe directly into the ground with it's explosive force.
Yeah, it's a contest of strength, not some guaranteed: "Shoo, get off of me."

Though it does tend to shift weight regardless. Even if it doesn't shift the entire hold.
Exactly, that ruins the grapple. It gives Kanitah the ability to pull his legs inwards, and if Fury doesn't do anything about it, they're coming with them.
I've made my edits, I didn't notice the leg positioning.
Wait wait.

So lemme get this clear.

Fury's feet are wrapped around Kanitah's feet.

With his knees barely touching the ground outside of Kanitah's hips?

Is that what this scene entails? Because that's really, really bad for you.
If his chest is pressed that tightly against Kanitah, then there's no conceivable way that he can have his foot wrapped around Kanitah's foot. Unless they're both lying down flat against eachother, at which point there's no way the grapple would work for either of them. Rolling would be so easy that Kanitah shifting his weight would roll Fury over.
Oh. Kanitah thought as he felt the knees of Fury around his waist, and his foe's feet wrapping around his own. I didn't realize what has transpired while this has been going on. With this exact positioning of Fury and Kanitah's legs, Fury inadvertently had given Kanitah total control over his legs. Because while Fury had his feet wrapped around the hero's own, he had also lifted most of his weight off of his knees. As well, his knees were outside.

With a small push, Kanitah lifted his weight onto his feet and twisted his legs inwards. Bringing Fury's legs with them. Following this, he brought both of his feet towards eachother. Moving into the bridging motion of sitting into Indian Style. This would force Fury's weight backwards onto his feet and knees again, and allow Kanitah to follow up with a sharp shove from both of his hands.

This combination of moments would shove the Fireen backwards, bringing both of them into an upright position. While it wouldn't entirely break Fury's hold, it would raise his body much higher than Kanitah's. It would also bend Fury's knees unnaturally to the side, which would hurt like hell.
