Ruka's Wolf Pack

Gron's snout was up in the air sniffing away. He smelt something dead, an elk perhaps? A free meal was always a treat, as it meant he didn't have to use his own energy to hunt. He started off, taking great strides and eventually, from behind a large a thicket of grass, he saw a carcass being eaten by a what he presumed to be a mother wolf and her pup. He could not help but put on a devilish grin as he looked at the dead elk, so much meat for one wolf and her scraggly pup. He stepped forward out of the grass, his red eyes gleaming in the sunlight. He started to let out a menacing growl as his hairs on the back of his neck stood up, for the elk would be his.

Jenna stood up when she heard a growl and turned around to face a male. She nudged her son, signaling for him to get behind her. She turned to the wolf and got in a defensive stance before growling back. Jonas obeyed his mother's signal and went behind her. He poked his head from behind her legs to see what was going on. He looked up to see an adult male that seemed to come off as intimidating for a wolf his age. _________________________________________________________________________

Leila watched his gaze shifted towards Shadow made her a bit uneasy but she stood straight but her voice soft, "We talked to the Lone Wolf. And he seems to be a no threat. He seems to have gotten along with everyone. And we ask you if he can come with us to hunt?" She looked at the Alpha. She hoped he would let him hunt. But....something was telling her...something might go wrong.

Ruka looked over at Shadow and gave him a warm smile before looking back at Leila. "Of course." He looked at the lone wolf. "He can even join the pack if he wants." He said with that warm smile still on his face.

Shadow had been listening this whole time, and he approached Ruka, chuckling. "Good ol' Ruka. Depenable as always. So how have you been, old pal?"

Ruka shook his head and smiled at Leila, letting her know he's fine before turning his attention to Shadow once she left. "I've been fine. So, would you like come back in?" He asked.

Dimensional Crossover

Joey decided to walk beside white ranger and was sure he wouldn't mind. He then realized he had forgotten to introduce himself earlier and decided upon doing so now. "This is a little late, but I'm Joey." He said. Until the group would move, Jyden decided to stay where he was for the time being. He never really talked much unless spoken to or asked a question. However, he stood tall as if to say he was prepared for anything.

They were loners, but also strangers. She wasn't sure if she and her son should go back and ask to join them. She looked at her son with one question in mind. "Did you see or sense any wolf about your age?" She asked aloud. Jonas looked up at his mother and nodded. "I sensed two other pups. Can we go back there?" He looked at her with pleading eyes. Friends were something he lacked and was eager for.

Leila said softly to him, "Be careful", her eyes held no emotion. But she hoped he knew everyone cared for him now. So he is a friend and we care for him. She said nothing more and as closer they got to the pack, the more she went silent as if she was a actually shadow. She didn't know why she cared a lot, she always wished she didn't even have a big heart. But she couldn't help it, it was so natural. So when they arrived and the Alpha was in sight she took a glance at Shadow then at Wildflower then jogged to the Alpha. She said softly, "Alpha can I ask you something?"

Ruka stood up when the girls came back with the lone wolf he had been observing earlier. "Yes you may." He glanced at Shadow, knowing how he felt before looking back at Leila.

Ruka sighed as most of his pack seemed to run after some lone wolf. He seemed he would have to watch the pups. He walked over to the young ones and layed down next to them. He wanted to greet the lone male out there, yet he couldn't leave the pups alone. Watching the lone wolf in the distance, he began to feel a bit of sympathy towards him. Being alone was never easy for him either. He then looked over at the pups and had been thinking of adopting one of them, or maybe both. ___________________________________________ Jenna went back to where her earlier kill was, hoping no wolf had taken it. She looked back every now and then to make sure her son was following this time which he was. She looked straight ahead to find her kill was still there. She ran towards it and tore a chunk of meat off of it before dropping it in front of Jonas. Jonas began to eat the meat once it was dropped in front of him. "Mom, I'm sorry for wandering off." He said inbetween bites. "However, when I was there, there were multiple wolves nearby. I didn't see them, but I smelt them." He explained. "You were near an unknown pack?" Jenna looked stern once again at him. "You know not to trust strangers." She said, but then softened before getting some meat for herself.

Riagan had been asleep in a bush of brambles. Quite the odd place to have been sleeping- since now, as he woke and crawled out of his sleeping place- his coat was covered in burrs. The dark gray wolf shook out his coat the best he could- grumbling as he did so. Looking up he saw Ruka at his usual place. Riagan wondered what time of day it was- in fact, he was sure that he was needed somewhere. He padded on up to his alpha, "Have you seen the others? They aren't- uh- out hunting or anything, right? Ulfang'll have my head if he thinks I was slacking off- which i swear I wasn't!" He sputtered nervously. The last thing he wanted was to tip off his alpha that he'd been sleeping all day.

Ruka stood up when one of the pack members came up to him. "I haven't sent my hunters out yet, but I will in a few. So, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. We have new recruits who are young pups." He explained before going towards the lead hunters. "Everyone's hungry so hunting starts now. I need one wolf to stay here since we now have pups to look out for." He sat down as he waited to see who would go and who would stay behind to watch the young ones. __________________________________________________ Jenna finally made her way over to her son, but she wasn't too happy with him. "There you are." She said in a stern voice. "I thought I told to stay by the bush." By her tone, a wolf could tell she was not in the best of moods at the moment. Jonas bowed his head in shame as he heard his mother lecture him. He slowly turned toward her and looked up with those cute innocent looking eyes. "Sorry, mom." He said as he went to his mother's side. Jenna softened a bit and looked at her son. "Next time you want to wander off somewhere, let me know where you're going. Okay?" Jonas nodded in response to his mother as they walked side by side and headed back to their own den.
