That would work; Alto's backstory already has Aliens. That said, though, I think that an Alien Invasion would not be in Potato's plans.

Also, why I think the conflict is unwinnable:

For one thing, the villains hold all the advantages; wealth, power, direct damage powers and equipment, and of course, public opinion, which is against the Heroes. Everyone hates Metas now and is clamoring for their heads, and merely exposing Aperture's crimes or the Voice's hypocrisy would not make things any better, because Metas are still threats, or rather, de facto threats, and stuff like that is just going to escalate, with Non-Metas using violence and Metas reacting in kind, which will cause things to escalate until things deteriorate to a true Crapsack World.
