Expect lots of probably stupid plans that either somehow work or lead the enemy into the an equally stupid backup plan... or potentially the backup plan to their backup plan!

But in brief summary, an invisible, selectively-tangible "punch-ghost" with fantastical speed but only peak human strength and the ability to "scrape away" at things it touches, transforming them temporarily into Sakura petals under its telekinetic control.

Ability:
A humanoid punch-ghost that appears to be a robotic pink woman with hair made of linked Sakura petals, wearing a backless cheongsam dress with large slits up the sides to ensure free motion of the legs.
As a Stand, it has several abilities that are universal across all Stands: immunity to any force that isn't another Stand, invisibility to anyone that isn't another Stand User, selective tangibility (can reach inside a person and manually pump their heart), shrinking down to up to microscopic size, sharing its senses with its User, physical enhancement/shielding of User or others by overlaying itself over their body/limbs.

This Stand, in particular, is also one of the rare semi-sentient variety and is fully capable of acting independently to protect its User if they are incapacitated or otherwise unable to respond to danger in time.

[Senbonzakura]'s unique power beyond the universal ones, however, is to transform anything, organic or inorganic (including her User and herself), she touches into pink-white Sakura petals, though not all at once, only "scraping" away what she can make direct physical contact with using any part of her body. This effect is not inherently lethal, requiring a certain amount of creativity to use to do harm, as transforming half a creature's lung (for example) doesn't prevent them from using that lung. On the other hand, transforming an eye removes a creature's use of that eye for as long as it remains transformed. Additionally, she can transform a wound into petals, preventing any of the negative effects of said wound from affecting a target so long as the wounded area remains transformed.

A fully transformed creature is completely incapacitated and unable to interact with the world by any means but summoning their own Stand. [Senbonzakura] does not have to maintain physical contact with targets to keep them transformed, and objects and creatures shifted into petals remain shifted indefinitely, until the petals are destroyed, the Stand or her User decides to transform them back, or her User dies. This is all, of course, with the caveat that [Senbonzakura]'s stamina/durability is quite middling, and keeping great amounts of things transformed for long periods of time can be detrimental to the User's health, inflicting a creeping exhaustion.

Petals created by [Senbonzakura] are under the Stand's telekinetic command and are unaffected by all non-Stand effects (ie. wind, damage, force, kinetic energy, and such). Unlike most other Stand powers, however, the created petals are not invisible to the sight of non-Stand Users due to having once been other non-Stand created objects. Petals can be telekinetically moved at speeds comparable to fast, powerful winds (like a tornado's), and there is no real limit to how far away the petals can be controlled from (though the Stand and User gain no special awareness of the petals' surroundings, only their location and what each individual petal used to be). Petals can be damaged and destroyed by Stands; a destroyed petal reverts to the specific part of a given target that it once was.

Without requiring physical contact, [Senbonzakura] can return anything transformed by her into petals back to its original form at will, either in a place where one of the petals that composed a specific target is located -or in the original location it was transformed. Targets don't have to be returned to normal all at once, and can be instead partially reconstructed at the Stand's leisure.

The only thing that she cannot transform into petals is other Stands.

Possible Creative Power Uses:

-Have Stand walk through a solid surface, transforming it into petals, follow through the Stand shaped hole, then revert wall to normal to prevent/hinder pursuit.
-Target a person's legs/wings/etc. first for transformation in order to prevent them from running from or pursuing User.
-Transform all but User's skin into petals, causing all non-Stand based attacks to become literally skin deep and possibly spoofing lie detectors and the like.
-Slowly fly by carrying User on the petals, given that the petals are unaffected by the User's weight.
-Suffocate a target by guiding petals down their throat and into their lungs. Use large swarms of petals as cover to sneak away or launch a hidden attack.
-Effectively extend the Stand's range from the User by having the Stand carry around a single petal made of part of their User (much like Giorno tore off his own arm to extend his range against Bruno in Part 5).

Le' Background

Once upon a time, there was a girl with a real set of priorities, wanted a quiet productive civilian life...

Then she got stabbed by a weird arrow, and suddenly everything was going insane. No peace. No quiet. Bizarrely-dressed people seemed to ooze out of the woodwork every other week.

Through a long series of convoluted events she helps a bunch of fabulously-dressed gents and lady take over the Italian underworld, becomes one of the new Godfather's right hands and finally achieves a fairly peaceful life in a strangely honorable mob. She goes on vacation to Florida a decade later, because absolutely nothing could go wrong to compromise her quiet life, only to run into a literal end of the world plot.

Funny thing really. Turns out, there's this probably gay priest that totes wants this probably bisexual vampire (ah, yes, priestxvampire, a tale as old as time) in order to reach HEAVEN, but said vampy-boy is deader than a doornail and reaching HEAVEN involves sorta-kinda using a prison, mass murder and a green baby to end the world and restart from scratch? Space-time shenanigans are weird. Enter Chinami, who helps screw over said HEAVEN plan mid universal reset, and suddenly, well, would you look at that? The fabric of space-time does indeed appear to be disintegrating! Suddenly, our intrepid heroine(?) is stuck with this "Bob" guy and several other poor souls, and things are somehow even more bizarre than they were back home.

Holy Bump Batman!

Looks interesting enough. I'm seeing some random romp shenanigans potentially being here.
I feel like we've crossed paths recently, so you may have some idea of my character concepts (spoiler alert: I like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure juuuuuust a little. XD). I'm kind of hunting around for a good rp to take a particular one into (with the abilities adjusted appropriately for the story of course). I'll see about popping a CS in here. it's kind of unbelievable that no-one has dropped one of their own yet, considering the overall simplicity of the CS template.

Royal Rumble: Rumble over the Heavens

So, funny thing really. Halfway through my character creation, I realized that they are, A, the only other character aiming for Kiburi's and, B, they happen to somehow have a similar goal to their fellow while having a nearly completely opposite personality/methodology, the slacker and the try-hard. The strange set of similarities between them was genuinely unintentional, which honestly makes it even funnier.

If we both get a slot, this is either going to be a weird rivalry or an even weirder friendship I'd think (I definitely like the sound of the latter more). The two have such completely different takes on how to obtain a successful comfortable life that I can see some fairly entertaining conversations ahead. There's definitely some potential "how the hell are these two friends" chemistry there. It's seriously kind of hilarious how they have so many similarities while diverging in just the right ways to make things interesting. XD

Royal Rumble: Rumble over the Heavens

Ooh, I'm definitely interested. I've got a character concept that I think I can adjust to fit this. Though, I'm having a little trouble grasping what's reasonable as a "major" power.

Ah, never mind. Got a look at some of the accepted character sheets, and the power level ceiling does appear to be high enough for my concept, since overpowered-ish characters are apparently okay? Just let me know if I need to change anything, because I do have some alterations I can do if anything is too much.

Lol, most of the sheets seem to favor Laurel's or Mephisto's, so I ended up balancing things out a bit. Kiburi's was looking a bit lonely with only one player, and the premise of that school is honestly hilarious.

Biography:

Born to and raised by a pair of Archeologists, Chinami's sociability was stunted from day one. Her parents loved their job, perhaps too much so. They traveled often and always brought her with them, preventing the young girl from properly developing long-term friendships or even getting a proper schooling where it didn't relate to archeology. Over time, Chinami began to stop even attempting to make emotional connections with locals, mentally exhausted from constantly having to leave them behind. She had swung right past loneliness and entered a state approaching apathy.

Though she loved her parents as most children do, by age 10, she was coming to resent them for the fact that she couldn't be a "normal" kid. Instead of improving her mind, she was forced to improve her body in order to walk -or even survive- long treks through jungles and climb steep ruins and mountains. She had no friends except the adults among the larger archeology team that traveled with her parents. As a result of these influences, she came to mature mentally far more quickly than any child should, becoming pithy and foul-mouthed.

By the time she was 12 years old, she was perhaps as much of an expert in the art of tomb-raiding as her parents, and she was the senior authority to the majority of the team as a whole in terms of time spent among them. She knew how to survive, how to treat wounds, to safely trip and disable traps and otherwise Indiana Jones her ways through absolutely lethal mystical ruins. Careless as her parents were, she'd been injured on many an occasion in her explorations. Cuts, bruises, broken bones, concussions and more that she often had to heal from naturally; the girl had an almost unnatural pain tolerance. Frankly, she was a somewhat scary child, almost comparable to a child soldier in grit, but despite the unease of the other adults, her parents didn't seem even slightly aware that something was off, instead praising their daughter for her accomplishments.

Chinami did not feel very accomplished. She had long since recognized her own lacking in intellectual pursuits and had begun to seek teaching from the other adults on the team, choosing to spend all of what allowance she had on books in the rare moments that she was in civilization proper. She saw archeology as a dead-end (even literally) profession, filled with too little profit and far too much danger. Weighing her pros and cons, the young girl had already started on the path to abandoning her family and team to set out on her own. All she needed first was the knowledge to make it out in the world. Thus, the self-education.

Little did she know, her plans would come to fruition, just not in the way she'd intended.

In the twilight months of age 12, her parents entered a particularly dangerous mystical ruin in search of rumors of a "cursed dagger" that could apparently inflict death with the slightest prick. Unfortunately, between the pair and their daughter, they were quite competent and capable of navigating the ruin's traps finding it. The young girl was not happy with this, as a gut feeling of impending doom had begun to well up within her. Whether it was a divine premonition or not, it mattered little in the face of her parents' reckless joy.

As they approached the dagger, which floated suspended ominously above an alter, Chinami warned her parents to be careful, but they dismissed her worries, sure in their security after successfully disabling any traps that would shut the doors on them and prevent escape. Her father grabbed the dagger, and everything quickly began going wrong.

A large golem was ejected from the ceiling and slammed down atop her father. If that didn't kill him, then the firm stomp on his head a moment later did. The dagger was sent flying, and the tomb guardian's attention was clearly zeroed in on it. Despite this, Chinami's mother chose to grab the dagger, only to get casually swatted by the unnervingly quick construct. Even injured, however, somehow her mother had the reckless and/or selfish presence of mind to toss the dagger Chinami's way.

Panicked, the girl unthinkingly picked it up from where it has slid across the floor to her and then was forced to flee the guardian. She put every last bit of her training and experience to the test, as she fled through the halls of the ruins, but the guardian was an enchanted being meant to catch far more dangerous intruders than a mere child. It was only her small size and agility that kept her ahead by a hair till the inevitable happened.

One of the guardian's attacks just barely clipped her side, but the sheer strength behind it made even a featherlight touch damn-near lethal. Ribs broken, Chinami was thrown like a skipping stone, and her uncontrollable tumble saw the dagger plunged into her gut. Despite being a dead girl walking, Chinami's harshly-earned pain tolerance and will to survive held strong and pushed her to struggle up and continue to stumble away as fast as she could, leaving the dagger in her gut to stem the bleeding. She took advantage of the distance gained from being tossed to exit the ruins and begin scaling the side using thick overgrown vines, the guardian on her heels like a bloodhound, as it stabbed its appendages into old stone to scale after her.

Flopping onto the top with the guardian practically breathing down her neck, Chinami ripped the dagger out of her stomach and swung at the guardians hands in despair, only to be genuinely surprised, when the dagger parted the mystically enchanted substance like butter, causing the guardian to lose its grip and tumble down to the ground. Filled with renewed hope that she could at least take this monster with her, Chinami's face turned ashen when the guardian revealed the ability fly, and she only barely managed to roll away from a slamming blow that would have ended her as surely as her father.

It occurred to her then that she was about to die, and she had something of a mental blue screen... and a realization. Something about that very concept offended her on a personal level, more than anything had ever irked her before. It was a visceral hatred, a bone-deep revulsion. The very idea that she would die, that it was inevitable?

No.

She was a survivor.

She would not die.

She refused to die.

As the guardian's arms rose for a final blow that Chinami was far too weakened by blood loss to avoid, the girl raised the dagger with every intent of chopping those arms off the moment the came down, using their own momentum against them, and gave a blood-curdling scream of animalistic defiance. Suddenly, both Chinami and the guardian were surprised by a pearly-white ghostly fist impacting the side of the guardian's head with a sound like thunder and such force that the construct was nearly beheaded by the single blow.

As the guardian reeled back, Chinami goggled at the sight of the ghostly white figure standing over her with an appearance reminiscent of a feminine golem with ethereal blue "hair". It glanced over its shoulder at her, gave her a simple nod and then, without fanfare, ripped forward with a flurry of blows so fast that Chinami's eyes watered, a series of thunderclaps shaking the ruins, as gusts of wind buffered her hair and eyes.

The ruin guardian tried to fight back, but it was suddenly outclassed so entirely it somehow ceased to be humorous, even despite it mercilessly hunting her down moments before. The pearly-white ghost utterly dismantled the golem in moments, its fists caving great craters into enchanted stone and metal, and the aftershocks seemed to be doing almost as much damage internally. It felt like a small eternity; when in reality, the barrage lasted no longer than 7 seconds, before the spirit halted its attacks and casually turned its back on the guardian. A moment later, as if suddenly remembering it had been struck, the golem seemed to implode from the sheer force of the blows, before the force finished its inward journey and exploded out and away, scattering the golem's parts across the jungle below.

Her pulse pounding in her ears, Chinami initially feared for her life, but the longer she stared at the being that had saved her, the more she came to recognize a strange connection there that hadn't existed before. As much as she wanted to explore that oddity, she needed to go see if her mother could be saved. It was around this moment that she noticed -to her great unease and simultaneous relief- that both the dagger and her wounds had disappeared, nowhere to be found.

The situation being as urgent as it was, the young girl was forced to abandon thought in that direction and hurry. She returned the inner ruins and found, indeed, that her mother had survived, but she was seriously injured. The girl performed emergency first aid to the best of her ability and confirmed that, luckily, her mother was in a state to be moved, if barely. At Chinami's request, her new ghostly companion carefully picked up and carried the woman, and the two left the ruins to seek aid from the rest of the archeology group.

Chinami's tale of daring and lethality and the seriousness of her mother's injuries prompted an immediate evacuation back to civilization to seek treatment for Chinami's mother and prevent the rest of the team from potentially falling prey to threats similar to what Chinami had miraculously vanquished. While they were able to save her mother's life, she was permanently injured enough to make performing her prior job all too dangerous. Between that and the reality-check of her husband's funeral, Chinami's mother chose to abandon archeology and take up being a botanist in Rhea.

While distraught that it had taken her father's life and nearly her own to make her dreams come true, Chinami couldn't help but be pleased with the outcome. She was almost unnerved by the sheer feeling of triumph that seemed to sweep through her body the minute she stepped into her new permanent home. She had survived everything the world had thrown at her. She had survived an almost certainly cursed stab from a artifact and could only theorize that the dagger must have been part of some sort of divine or demonic "test of worthiness". She couldn't begin to imagine why she had passed where others had assumedly failed, and she couldn't help but worry about what had happened to the dagger itself, knowing that it hadn't returned itself to its original resting place.

But in the end, such concerns were irrelevant. She had survived. She had conquered life's trials and tribulations, and she been rewarded with power and the opportunity to grasp the life she had begun to dream of, a successful quiet life, devoid of enemies or danger. All that was left was to not waste that opportunity.

And the best way to do that was to get an education.

She had been studying the four great schools of Rhea, weighing her options. Unfortunately, her options were slim. Laurels' and Clauzwitz' were too high class for her lackluster education to keep her enrolled. 13 year old Chinami hadn't the greatest opinion of her scholastic ability, and both schools looked too strict for her to have time to catch up before being expelled... assuming she could even get accepted to begin with. Mephisto's just seemed like a bad idea for her overall reputation, and the school itself was impossible to even find, much less enroll in. Chinami could only assume that the school reached out students rather than the other way around, and one might possibly get in through a recommendation the Chinami didn't have.

Kibari's was the only option left. With its lackluster standards of attendance and gaudy decadence, somehow, this was the only option left to her amongst the most "respectable" schools. Despite that, it had fair education facilities, so it would have to do. Chinami had only about 2 years to correct her scholastic deficiencies and train her new power, so she set to both with a fervor like nothing before.

And with time and dedication, 2 years later, she swept through the acceptance process and took her first steps towards peace and success. From that day forward, she swore that she would work hard, harder than anyone else, in order to compensate for where she was lacking and, more importantly, where her new school might also be lacking.

Powers:

Primary Power: Proud Soul, Living on a Prayer

Living on a Prayer

Chinami's primary ability is to manifest a pseudo-physical "punch-ghost", which can move up to 5 meters away from her. It acts at Chinami's will and mental command, being directly connected to her soul; for this reason, it is often prone to react early to threats Chinami's main body couldn't see coming but subconsciously recognized through gut instinct and the like. The "Spirit" can selectively tangibly interact with the world and is completely unaffected or hindered by any effect that does not specifically target souls or -to a lesser degree- life force. If it is harmed, however, any damage it takes is reflected back on Chinami, but not any special effects beyond that. It can use its selective tangibility to peak through or reach inside and meddle with the insides of targets, and this same selective tangibility allows it to overlay itself upon Chinami's main body, letting her use it as armor.

On the flipside, the silver lining of being able to be harmed by soul/lifeforce attacks cuts both ways. The Spirit is able to physically interact with -and use it's third secondary power on- objects and effects that normally can only be targeted/opposed on a spiritual level.

Secondary Power 1: Spiritual Warfare

This power passively enhances all the standard physical abilities of her "Spirit" so that it is more than a mere ghost, but these enhancements tend to weaken in unison with Chinami's own accruement of injuries and/or exhaustion. At full strength, it is able to move at super-sonic speeds with reaction time to match. Strength-wise, it's somewhat less intimidating, able to lift weights equivalent to a truck and toss them a short distance -though certainly not casually; luckily, Chinami has enough control of this strength to ensure that she doesn't accidentally kill others. Its 5 Basic Senses are dialed up to 11, along with its 6th/spiritual ones, but they seem to have protection against being overwhelmed and are thus unhindered by blinding light, deafening sounds and the like.

Durability is included in these enhancements but doesn't weaken like the others. Even if her Spirit can be harmed by effects that target souls or life force, those effects must be of notable strength to actually break through the Spirit's durability. The result is that, even if she knows she will take damage regardless, it is still safer overall to use her Spirit as a shield against effects that can hurt it and mitigate some harm.

Both Chinami and her Spirit are able to perceive spiritual/soul/lifeforce-based phenomenon in the world, to the point, for example, that she is able to witness someone's soul leaving their body on death and can use her Spirit to interact with such things before they pass on should she be fast enough.

Secondary Power 2: Half Way There

Chinami, at all times that it is summoned, shares senses with her Spirit. This doesn't appear to cause any disorientation, and due to the semi-autonomous nature of the Spirit, she is able to multitask well enough to simultaneously control both her bodies at full effectiveness. As a side effect, sharing her Spirit's senses allows her to perceive the world in extreme slow motion if she wishes, allowing her a great amount of time to think and strategize.

Secondary Power(?) 3: It's My Life

A power that Chinami strongly suspects may be her true main power, with her Spirit merely a means to channel it.
She has noticed that she can cause selective alterations to objects/creatures her Spirit touches, at the cost of getting strangely too spiritually and physically exhausted to safely use it in rapid succession without risking self-harm. Chinami's high willpower and ability to mentally push through debilitating injury tend to be detrimental here, as if she isn't careful, she is fully capable of literally exhausting herself to death from overuse, which is why she typically limits herself to 10 uses per short period/fight out of caution.

The size of her target doesn't seem to be a factor. The ability seems to allow her to affect any aspect of a target (material, integrity, enchantments, etc.), but inflicts greater exhaustion the more extreme or exotic the change she wishes to make, unless she takes time to slowly inflict it over the course of a minute or so while maintaining contact. Targets must, at their core, remain the same thing they were when they started, performing the same base function in the world. However, this ability apparently considers "change of location" a valid part of its purview, allowing teleportation. While she can affect and boost herself and others with this ability, she cannot affect her Spirit itself, no matter how hard she tries.

When she first discovered this ability, the changes she caused tended to be temporary, lasting only mere minutes. After years of training, the changes have come to consistently last between 3-4 hours, with the strange exception of healing and teleportation, which are always permanent unless she specifically attempts to have them not be. Chinami has good reason to suspect that in time and with training, she will be able to consistently make all her changes permanent.

Chinami has yet to identify the core principle of this ability's function, but she has her suspicions, rooted in a fair amount of high-level theory. She has also taken great care to conceal the full extent of this ability beyond healing, paranoid -or perhaps rightfully worried- about what knowledge of its existence might bring upon her.

The truth of this ability's functionality is as simple as it is terrifying, and it is this high concept truth that currently evades Chinami's realization and stymes her mastery of this power. Her power, quite simply, swaps targets with an alternate dimension version of themselves. Rather, to be specific, it doesn't actually transfer things across dimensional barriers but instead merely "copies" an alternate existence and then "pastes" it over the one in Chinami's world, overwriting the prior existence.

Reputation:

General School Reputation

Chinami appears to be the equivalent of a Goth; though she barely dresses the part. More notable than her appearance is her attitude and sharp tongue. She seems almost allergic to the very concept of romance, and she has very little tolerance for the social games others do, choosing to be blunt and brutally honest with her words. While she isn't typically the sort to resort to violence, despite her caustic attitude, she has no tolerance for others attempting to get in her way or sabotage her scholastic achievements. She prefers not to fight, but when she must... She plans to win by any means necessary.

Chinami on the surface doesn't have any rivals she is aware of. As she seeks a peaceful life, she pays little attention to those that despise her, since she knows that is often the best way to prevent them from having any power over her. Indeed, she chooses to be as dismissive as possible and completely banish such things as "enemies" and "winning or losing" from her mind; the only thing she appears to care about is merely succeeding in life. This standoffish attitude doesn't earn her many friends, given how business-oriented she is in regards to education and how disdainful she seems to be of most of her fellow students, who she sees as coasting slackers. As a result, she has something of a reputation as a bitch and general try-hard. However, those that manage to get into her good graces will find themselves stuck with an almost obnoxiously steadfast ally, who perhaps tends overmuch towards less moral options when it comes to aiding them.

-Harumi Nadakai:
Chinami's mother and a botanist in Rhea. Chinami both loves and resents her. Chinami has chosen to hide her healing abilities from her mother, allowing the woman to stay permanently injured, as Chinami believes this is the best way to keep her from having any ideas of returning to her former dangerous tomb-raiding profession. In order to preserve her mother's life -and her own quiet life- this is what Chinami believes is the greatest kindness she can give, her trust in her mother's own judgement forever tarnished. Reaching A Peaceful Life Through Violence: Chinami Nadakai

Appearance

A goth teenage girl of seeming Japanese ethnicity, appearing to be of age 16-17; though, her existence as a reincarnate puts her actual age somewhere in the forties, not that she's eager to expound upon it. Standing at a fair height of 5'8", she is perhaps most notable for how almost lackluster her "goth" is compared to others.

Gaining her powers caused a permanent change in appearance. Though she has never discovered quite why, it is the reason she is "stuck" as a goth, having blackened her finger/toe-nails, lips and hair to a pitch that almost seems to eat the light under natural darkness... while turning her eyes a vibrant crimson red. As a result, she chose to somewhat dress the part, ironically in order to make herself stand out less.

Personality

Blunt and straight-forward, Chinami despises the societal rot that is the pervasive concept of lying. White lies, little lies, small lies, lies to one's face, all are equally contemptable to her. While she herself may choose to word her statements misleadingly or omit information in a manner that may deceive, she is never one to directly lie to others, instead remaining silent if she must. She is a sardonic voice of (what she believes) to be basic common sense that is steered by her desire for long-lasting victory and peace.

She is a subconsciously power-hungry person. It is for this reason that she actively fears herself and her own potential and, yet, cannot seem to stop herself from grasping every further morsel of power presented to her given the slightest excuse. This is rooted in her obsession with having control of her own life and Fate and not allowing greater cosmic beings to dictate her future. It is this existential dread that drives her to never refuse more power... and yet simultaneously fear gaining more. After all, the more power she gains, the more likely she believes that she will become a tyrant or, worse... come to the attention of beings as far above her as she is the common man.

Chinami loves using her powers, the feeling of absolute control they give her filling her with giddy glee. At the same time, she hates using them, seeing every moment she is forced to as another moment of temptation to reach for more. It is for this reason that she seeks to carve out for herself a quiet civilian life. At the end of the day, she has no true grand goals or aspirations of domination. Instead, she would much rather live out a life surrounded by books and videogames holed up in her room. Unfortunately, her own spurts of recklessness tend to put her in situations that rapidly spiral into unraveling her quiet life.

Despite her often near-nihilistic outlook, Chinami often finds herself acting to help the innocent out of a sense of subconscious good will. She is a former Christian, who after being isekaied upon death lost faith and became fatalistic, stuck in a grim-dark deconstruction of a super-hero world. Despite trying to distance herself from such things, however, she has never been able to shake her innate core of goodness buried within a cracked and blackened heart. Despite her best efforts, she feels pity and empathy for the innocent and suffering and will certainly protect them if doing so wouldn't inconvenience her overmuch. She subconsciously worries for the innocents around her and firmly believes they don't deserve to have the tyrant she might become inflicted upon them should she lose her way.

A person of a great many faults, she nonetheless owns up to them, referring to herself as a "Mythic Bitch" casually. She is often a proponent of "tough love" but seems to genuinely mean well in the end. She despises those that take hostages; however, she is absolutely willing to call their bluff to achieve victory, even if that means innocents will die. In large part, she does this in the hopes that it will set an example and ensure no one in the future attempts to use hostages against her.

In this same vein, she is utterly ruthless in the pursuit of absolute victory. She despises "reoccurring enemies" and will do everything in her power to kill the vast majority of her opponents unless given very good reason not to. This is all, of course, in pursuit of her long-awaited quiet civilian life in the hopes that she may either scare people into leaving her be or eliminate those too stupid or hateful to leave well enough alone.

At her core, Chinami believes that the most sacred thing in existence is Free Will, the congealed concept of "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness". She believes that no matter how despicable or holy, all have the right to make their own decisions... for good or bad. That said, she will still happily be the arbiter of karma upon those that commit unforgivable evils and/or would steal the free will of others or otherwise impose unfair limitations upon their options in life. Mass murderers, slavers and mind manipulators are her favored stress relief targets. It is fair to call her dislike for them something bordering on zealotry.

Ascension Trigger/Backstory(?)

Reincarnated without warning or choice into a grim-dark deconstruction of a super-hero death-trap world by a sadistic "ROB", Chinami sought to spite the cosmic being by avoiding the "costumed nutter" scene and instead living out a quiet and hopefully boring (for the ROB) civilian life. In time, her mere paranoia developed into an all but obsession and personal cause to obtain this seemingly impossible glory, but time and again, she would fall prey to her own need to interfere with the horrible evils around her in a decisive and brutal manner. This earned her enemies and unwanted notoriety, even as she struggled to slink back into the background of the setting.

The long and short of it is that through a series of convoluted events (mostly fueled by several mistakes on Chinami's own part), she essentially created her own worst enemy, a former/current supervillain who saw Chinami as the devil incarnate and was willing to go to near any means to defeat/destroy her and "save" the Earth. Their final confrontation lead to both of them obtaining a power that caused them to continuously grow to exceed the threat the other presented, resulting in a self-sustaining spiral of growing power. By the time they begrudgingly decided to call it a draw so as to not "accidentally a country" or two, both were practically gods on earth compared to everyone around them.
In the end, however, Chinami found the draw to be nothing but a defeat and pyrrhic victory at best, as she had lost any way to retain her quiet civilian life due to the sheer scale of her epic battle. Distraught, she sought out means to leave her universe for one that had never heard of her, but something went wrong. Now, she finds herself among other obscenely powerful champions and forced to contend with cosmic foes that threaten not just her peace and quiet but potentially entire worlds.

Powers/Abilities:

Spirit: Living on a Prayer

The physical pseudo-spiritual manifestation of Chinami's absolute obsession with having control over her own life, gained in a moment of despair over being at the mercy of the whims of what she perceived as a "ROB" (Random Omnipotent Being/Bastard)... and the encounter with a dangerous supernatural virus.

At its core, it is a power gained by being infected with strange spiritual virus, a virus which is non-transmissible and can only be contracted by making contact with its pure form. In such a case the subject will die unless they prove to have a certain strength of character, a conviction to bend the world to their own will. It is a virus that at its core, culls anything and anyone it perceives as weak. Upon surviving it, the victim is "rewarded" by the awakening of their Spirit, an often vague manifestation of their innermost self. Once death or "worthiness" has been determined, the virus dissipates from the body, unable to be extracted or otherwise analyzed.

The power typically manifests as a humanoid being that can move a variable distance from the owner and selectively interact with the world... while possessing a personalized power that is typically modeled after some prominent portion of the owner's personality. These "Spirits" cannot be harmed by any force except another Spirit and are typically invisible except to those with high spiritual awareness.

Chinami, in particular, is a person who firmly believes that she will never have to change for the world... and that the world must, instead, be made to change for her. Her power thus manifested as such.

Living on a Prayer

A pearly-white & electric-blue humanoid being of almost robotic appearance decorated with celestial imagery, Living on a Prayer (as Chinami chose to name it) can only move up to 5 meters (about 15 feet) from Chinami in any given direction. It is fast enough that it solidly surpasses lightspeed, but Chinami has no clue exactly how much so. Strength-wise, it is less obnoxiously impressive, but still strong enough to send an Iowa-class battleship tumbling ass over teakettle with a casual shove or to annihilate entire city blocks with a single punch. The Spirit has a reaction speed as ridiculous as its actual speed and greatly heightened versions of the five basic senses.

Chinami is able to simultaneously perceive the world through her own and her Spirit's senses and, thus, is quite difficult to catch off guard. The Spirit can also interact with the world in a selectively tangible way, reaching inside an object/creature and grabbing hold of something. As a result, she can also overlay her Spirit over her own body, physically enhancing herself to levels greatly inferior to the Spirit's true potential; the tradeoff, however, is that she may benefit from the practically conceptual durability of her Spirit in turn, using it as an utterly inviolable armor.

Its primary power, however, is the ability to copy and paste an alternate version of a target object or living being onto the local universe version. The ability essentially browses the multiverse and then imposes a new version upon the target. With this power, Chinami can instantaneously heal and harm, grant new powers to others or wrest what they already have away. It's flexible enough that she can even impose alternate locations on a target, effectively allowing teleportation. Her power will only specifically impose the changes she desires and otherwise defaults to the condition of "otherwise unchanged" on any given target, unless Chinami specifies otherwise.
While she is capable of effecting minds and memories with this ability, it actually happens to be a firm line in the sand that she will absolutely not cross for any reason, considering how sacred she holds free will.

The changes are permanent or temporary at Chinami's discretion.

The main caveat to this ability is that the Spirit must make physical contact with a target they mean to change, and her relatively short range can quickly become an issue, especially if she is currently being forced to shield herself with her Spirit as makeshift armor. The final weakness is that the more esoteric a change -and the further she reaches for an alternate that diverges greatly from the local universe's current version of a target- the less instantaneous her ability can activate. This means that when faced with beings of a cosmic or conceptual nature, she can have incredible difficulty effecting them faster than they can get away... if at all.

In theory, she could use her power on herself to gradually strip away and mitigate all these weaknesses, but Chinami has long held these sorts of "natural" limits to her ability as something she must retain in order to not lose her humanity entirely.

Personal "Enchantments"

The flexibility of her Spirit's power is vast. As such, despite her fear of losing herself to too much power, Chinami fears death and the compromising of her metal facilities far more and runs several permanent "enchantments" on herself that she never removes for any reason.

1): Mind/Body/Soul Manipulation/Control Immunity: Her mind, soul and memories are a titanium fortress, unable to be read or invaded. Her body cannot be altered in any manner against her will. This has an additional self-precognitive caveat of pre-emptively blocking any effect that Chinami is otherwise unaware would be harmful to her.
2): Power Manipulation Immunity: A multifaceted protection that prevents anyone or anything but herself from altering, downgrading, or even improving any aspect of her powers and personal "enchantments".
3): Precognition/Postcognition/Clairvoyance Immunity: Affects both the magical/spiritual and technological spheres. Chinami is unable to be "scryed" by any force or means. This includes a defense that even prevents someone from working around her ability and modeling a "theoretical" exact copy of a being with her exact abilities in order to scry her by proxy.
4): Erasure/Death/Time Immunity: Encompasses any effect that would annihilate her on a conceptual level, instantly kill her or age her unnaturally. This will cause her to stop aging entirely once she reaches about 25 physical years of age. She also is unaffected by the likes of Time Stopping or Slowing effects.
5): Survival Suite: Chinami does not need air to breathe or speak legibly, nor does she require food or water to survive and grow healthily. She is immune to outside pathogens/germs/viruses/poisons entirely and is unaffected by extreme temperatures. In terms of personal durability, she prefers not to enhance her own body, but her soul can remain manifested indefinitely in the mortal realm if her physical form perishes, allowing her to use her Spirit to repair/reconstitute her body so she can repossess it.

Miscellaneous

-Immortality (Age): As a result of one of her "enchantments", she will never perish from old age and will cease to age once she reaches the prime of her life.
-Intellect: While she personally doesn't consider herself clever, a certain amount of above-average creativity is required to use her Spirit's ability to its maximum potential. However, this creativity is often stifled by her own self-imposed moral limits.
-Additional Language: Japanese. Her parents were immigrants from Japan and taught her their original language.
-Martial Arts: She loves the Tae-Kwon-Do Art but hasn't had the time to truly master it. On the surface, she is a multi-level black belt and skilled at what she does, but she cannot compare to true supernatural masters of the craft. Luckily, her Spirit's sheer speed and strength allow her to compensate where she lacks in experience.
-Willpower/Pain Tolerance: Her ability to fight through any agony or injury, no matter how lethal or painful, is literally a manifestation of her sheer willpower. It is entirely natural, not that many would believe it, but considering that she is stubborn enough to spend a decade and a half dedicated almost entirely to trying to spite a being to which she was essentially an ant...?

In summary: A cosmic powerhouse weighed down by her own slowly recovering moral compass. She seeks a quiet civilian life. Yet, her brutal means and seeming inability to ignore her own bleeding heart have often driven her into a corner from which she cannot recover what she once had. Her latest fumble, during which she achieved her true potential, came at the cost of her secret identity and knowledge of her dangerous power becoming public on a worldwide scale. Unable to ever find peace on her homeworld without crossing several of her true moral lines, she sought out means to find a new home... Only for something to go wrong. Now, she finds herself among peers and forced to butt heads with cosmic beings beyond anything she'd have before imagined. Only time will tell if she can find a place among this band of fellow misfits and outcasts... and truly obtain her ever-coveted quiet life.

In terms of party role, she would likely act as a "Big Stick"/"Superman"/"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" of the group, someone with way too much power on their hands and a reluctance to use it. But spur her into motion, and great things tend to happen. Most often, she is likely to play the role of a healer when she isn't up to not holding back.

Hmmm... Mainly what inspired me were the "Reaching Heaven" and "Requiem" mechanics of the setting. I think it's fair to say that anyone that could achieve both would obtain ultimate power (in the local universe granted). The title of this story just got me thinking heavily in that direction.

As far a stand user not being quite a match-up for the rest of the overpowered cast, I will simply refer you to Heaven Ascension DIO, but that's neither here nor there. I'm pretty sure I can still make the character concept work, even if I have to rename and rework a ton of stuff to make a more broadly merely setting-inspired backstory. XD

It's not my intention to be the cause of a crossover event, but I'm hoping to use an original stand user from the ridiculous setting, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I even have a canonical event in mind that could easily be twisted to be a fairly good cause for them getting ejected from the universe.
Freaking Part 6 Universe Reset is something else. Araki has no chill with main character deaths.
I just want the base source of the powerset honestly, and the "Reaching Heaven" title is what got me thinking about this particular powerset.

If this isn't fine, I'm good with doing something else. I love the concept of this story, and I have a few other character ideas that could work.

What I meant was, to clarify, an original character naturally, but with abilities/powers based out of a preexisting fiction. Is that on the table, or are we talking from the ground up abilities?
Like, assume they are an original character from a given alt-universe of an existing setting, "beat the game" as it were, and then accidentally found themselves in this new situation.
