"Well Neric here wants and hopes there will be some competitions. Though I doubt he would be allowed to participate in any of them, he would be a very unfair advantage." *James said with a chuckle, popping a little more salad into his mouth. Looking to Neric who doesn't seem particularly fazed by the words. The Void sitting on his legs on the table as he looks around, soon turning to them as he huffs. Hopping over and looking at what Edmond has on his plate, pointing at one of the peppers and looking up at Edmond. James silently watching the whole time as he ate. Going for his fruit after, not having any dessert. At least not yet maybe anyway*

"May I have one? If that is alright James didn't get me any." *James looking at Neric annoyed as Neric flaps his wings gently to not cause a lot of wing and such* "I know, I didn't ask. And if he says no I can fly over and get one myself, just thought I would be considerate-" *The little Void interrupted as he looks over at Helena, the girl walking over to their table it seems. His head tilting a bit as his eyes stay on her, curious where she's been today since she left for who knows what reason. He ain't going to pry for it though*

And ya I do anymore with a military like Void like him trying to get me to eat healthy as much as possible." *Him looking at Neric as the little Void looks back, hopping away and flapping his wings. James laughing a bit before speaking again* "I know Neric, you had past lives that were in the military so you kinda grew up in that mindset. I know." *Smiling back at his Void as it looks between the three of them, looking at Edmond about the pepper. Seems he is keen on wanting one it seems* "How about you? Do you eat healthy as well Helena?"

"I'm sorry to hear, well at least in that case people here got to meet you. So that's a plus for everyone here." *Neric would say as he looks at Edmond, staying on the table till James got back. Him sitting down and looking at his food before looking at Edmond*

"Ya, you seem like a nice guy afterall. Better then a lot of people we've met." *Neric nodding his agreement as James goes back into his salad. Not finished his salad or his fruits yet, Neric looking at him before looking back at Edmond. Seems neither of them really have people skills as neither of them are talking now, both not knowing what to say at the current moment in time. Neric looking around as he hops here and there*

*James would take a minute to chew his food and swallow before answering Edmund's question. Lowering his head a bit* "Actually I haven't had a home since I was young, me and Neric have been moving constantly since then..." *James said with a sigh as he took another bite, though looks up as Neric spoke his bit*

"I just said I needed a moment to think, that and it was a big crowd there so wanted some space." *Neric would turn his head as he looked at Edmond, blinking a few times before speaking up again* "So how about you? Where you come from before coming here?" *Looking at James for a moment, who had walked over to grab one of the rice balls to try out. Looking back at Edmond*

*James smiled at Mystery, seemed like a nice guy. And he did make something to share with everyone* "Thank you Mystery, they look good." *Holding his hand under the hand holding the rice ball to catch anything that fell off in the hand. Taking a bite and smiled, giving mystery a thumbs up. Showing he liked it*

*James would look at Edmond and shakes his head, sitting down with his plate* "I could never really take really hot food, though some of it looks good... ya." *James would shrug and smile, going for his pork first. Smiling at the fresh taste of the meat, living on the road it was hard to get something real fresh. So this was a real treat to him. Neric being mostly quiet though which is a tad bit different to James, though James isn't saying anything yet. He's getting a feeling that the Void is getting used to everything around here. Though James would be surprised as the wound opened the dark being started to funnel out, the raven soon hopping along the talk as he looks around. Ruffling his feathers a bit but not saying anything yet, James wasn't expecting Neric out so soon after retreating. Maybe James just being in a group caused him discomfort? Who knows*

"I'm alright, but thanks for asking Edmond. Today's just been all over the place and Neric is feeling a bit overwhelmed with all this around him. He's not used to it. Sure, I'm feeling hungry and such. Did you want the same table as well?" *Chuckling as he walked in with Edmond and the others that followed him, though as far as it looked to James it was Mystery. Felt bed for the guy after his sister smacked him as hard as she did, James didn't think she needed to hit her own brother that hard for just teasing. But that may be just part of who they are, though quietly hopes she doesn't smack him, Neric or anyone that Neric starts to like. The Void may not like it too much. Getting a plate for himself as he gets some salad, fruits and pork. That looked good to him, healthy with a side of protein. At least Neric can't complain about that, the Void with his military like attitude about some things including food*

*James walked along with everyone, mostly keeping to himself as he listened to the group. Though the moment Edmond rammed into the buildings, James would shake his head and rub his forehead as Neric jumps off. The dark Void moving for Edmond and getting under him, lifting him up and literally setting him gently back on his feet*

"I'm going back in, a lot happening and need some time." *Neric heading back to James in his dark cloud of a form, James's first reaction to holding his right hand up. Letting the Void funnel into his wound before it closes up and lowers his arm, sighing and looking around at everyone*

"Sorry everyone, just a lot to take in and I think he needs to think a bit. Doubt he's upset with any of you, he does this a lot when he needs time to his thoughts." *Him nodding and looking around, rubbing his hand softly and looking a bit nervous. New people and not knowing what they will think, also seeing Spirit with her back to Mystery. Knowing she smacked him but not knowing how to deal with that situation, maybe it's best to not get involved. It's been a very chaotic day so far for everyone, looking over at Edmond with a soft sigh. Walking over to speak easier to him* "You ok? That looked like it hurt..."

*James would look to the new guy as he smiles, speaking up before everyone would converge on them* "Hello Max, the name's James. And this is Neric.." *Cut off a tad as the Void jumps from the ground, the black cloud reforming as the hawk on his shoulder as he pets him a bit. Looking around at everyone and the two girls bolting for the cafeteria, shaking his head a bit as he smiles. Though he was happy that everyone was getting to know each other and that everyone was being friendly. Neric snuggling into his shoulder as he speaks softly*
"I wonder what they will have for lunch? Though I won't be eating." *James would chuckle as he looked to Neric to respond*
"Why not? Cause you don't eat like normal people?" *Neric giving James a slight glare before nodding and looking to everyone, though James just smiles about it. Neric didn't really mean anything behind it and James knows it, the Void is still trying to get used to people. Though he was curious about what past the Void had that gave him the mindset he first started out with, he came a long way from that but still had fragments of his past in his behavior. Looking back to Max as he spoke* "They should be at lunch, you can most likely ask them there. But my question is where the lunchroom is, does anyone know that?" *Showing that Maax isn't the only one that doesn't know given that today is the first day for many of them*

*James smiles as he listens to Cecilia, looking at Neric as he chuckles a bit. Looking away with his eyes for a moment as he thinks before looking back at Cecilia, seems she and her father have been to a good number of places. But from what he heard, Maine was a rather nice place that she would like to visit again. Speaking up shortly after* "Sounds like a rather nice place, maybe we'll have to go there sometime Neric?" *Him smiling at the Void as it looks up at him, taking a moment itself before speaking to James* "Ya if you buy the ticket, you know how much walking that will be to get from here to there? *James just rolls his eyes a bit, rubbing the Void's head as he smiles at him* "We always find a way for it to work out don't we? We've been to a lot of places and still have a lot to see. Walking or not."

*James would perk up and look off to the side, hearing the bell as he looks back at Cecilia* "Think that announces something? I mean it should be close to lunch. Maybe we all are gathering for something, should we go?" *Him looking at her as Neric gets up, the little Void stretching as he acts out to be yawning. Though doesn't make a sound. James looking past Cecilia and spotting someone that just arrived at the camp as he looks from them to Cecilia and then to Spirit. He didn't wanna have to wake her up, but then again things are happening* "Someone new is here, and I don't wanna wake up Spirit... should we?" *Looking at the little girl, scratching his neck a bit as he sighs. He was rather enjoying the quiet, even if he was talking to Cecilia during it. Rather he enjoyed their talk, and he gets the feeling Neric is getting used to her*

*James looked over as Cecilia asked her question, though his gaze went to Spirit who is asleep. Neric stretching a bit, looking up at Cecilia. The little Void answer actually quite quickly* "I enjoyed Paris, though James has never been there. In a previous life Paris was actually a really nice place to live. Not like now though, well it's not the same anyway. So I'll go with older Paris." *The Void looking at James, the boy's eyes on Neric before looking to Cecilia. Speaking softly to avoid waking Spirit* "It's hard to say really, I guess I can say Seattle. I enjoyed the boating and water there, it was quite nice." *James smiling at Cecilia, it was nice to be doing or talking about something normal. After everything he got the feeling that Cecilia would be the one to try and get the pace going again, she's been a sweetheart so far and it's been one very... interesting day he supposed. Sitting up better as he asked his question* "How about you Cecilia? What's the most interesting place for you if you don't mind me asking?" *Curious what she would say and what her opinion would be, what place is interesting to her?*
